The over night staff at this place is full of rude workers. Some guy left is cart in the middle of an isle and his walkie talkie went off and I had to walk by and move his cart out of the way. He then proceeded to tell me I was touching his things and he had to excite me out and I was doing nothing wrong but I did not resist. I proceeded to be a jerk and tell him that they did not pay him enhiygh for this and he was just being a sensitive baby. Best Walmart I've ever been to! Everything is super clean and organized. I actually felt like I wasn't at a Walmart. Staff is fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The store is on top of a mountain which give it a really nice view and only added to the experience. I'm only sad I have to drive 50 minutes to get there so it's more of a "I have time to kill today" store. I live five minutes from the Walmart in Whitehall and I wish they could magically switch places! Totally worth the gander if your looking for a different shopping experience at a Walmart. read more

In store shopping was bad given the 45 minutes to check out on multiple visits. Pick up isn't that much better...the new website freezes, the check out panel isn't full screen, have to select pick up with each item or delivery is chosen; After 20 minutes waiting, I finally picked my stuff up. Advise anyone to pull into parking lot and check order (hind sight). Got home and the storage containers were damaged--one had a crack down the whole side clearly visible yet she loaded it into my car anyway. read more

This bakery destroyed my daughter's custom ordered birthday cake. It was literally toppling over (it was 2 tier) the icing was poorly done to the point that my 2 year old could've done better, and the decorations on it were not what was ordered and didn't even look appropriate. It was so terrible that the store assistant manager cut the price in half and took our info in order to find out who was responsible. Wonderful sentiment, but since pick up was an hour before the party of 50 we were screwed. I will NEVER order from a walmart bakery again. read more

Yes, this Lehighton Walmart is a great store and beats all others but it really needs to clean the garbage that is covering the driveway up into their parking lot. Considering what this superstore has taken away from the environment by being built, at least show respect and take care of the trash generated by it. Its a big turn off driving up to the store. Also, please open up the check out lanes! I spend an easy $200 every time I go and I shouldn't have to do the work of checking out and bagging too. Otherwise it would be an easy 5 star if the 2 above things were tended to. read more

I do like this store, but seriously, would it kill you to open more than one checkout during the week? Last night, I was in a line with 4 people in front of me and two behind me. All with rather full carts. I simple trip that should've taken 45 mins, took a hour and a half. Absolutely unacceptable. This happens every time I go there during the week. Most of the Walmarts in my area are crappy. Lehighton! Totally different story, I can't believe it's a Walmart. It is totally worth the drive. It's always clean, stocked and though I like calling it redneck land there,you don't see the nonsense. I use to get my grand baby's supplies there & found good selections of clothes, health products, garden things, toys & the grocery department is decent. Even if the lines are long, the help is efficient & helpful. read more

I used to love Walmart when they first started out but most of them have slowly declined...really declined in the past 10 years. However, I LOVE the Walmart in Lehighton! So much better then any other ones around, especially the one in Whitehall. I swear it's like the Disneyland of Walmarts. This place is huge. Not only is it big but it's so clean you could eat off the floor (not that I suggest doing so). The shelves are also always fully stocked and neat. There are no children running wild and the employees here actually know what they are doing, most of them even seem proud to work at this store. This store seems to have such a better selection then any other Walmart I have ever been to, even the food section is huge. They make on site things like sandwiches and salads which are really cheap, good, and fresh. Oh, and one other thing, instead of having a McDonalds they have a Subway. It just goes to show this is a higher class Walmart then the others lol. read more
