zero stars for the pharmacy!! went there to get a script filled and they wouldnt give me the paper…read morescript on a person i was getting the prescription for, accused me of lying about picking up the script like i was looking to score on a script of anitbiotics!! and they told me that it was a hippa violation but was able to talk about the person and the medication they were on with me!!! makes no scense....then the head of the pharmacy told me she would correct them and give me the script(never did) then a week later we needed a new script for someone else and then the lead pharmasist changed her tune and said it was a hippa violation and wouldnt give me the paper script claiming hippa again after talking about the person with me again.....complete idiots and very unprofessional the leader of the pharmacy quit your job now as you clearly dont know what hippa is and should have fired your staff for accusing me of being a drug seeker just because i wasnt dressed very well due to being just as ill as the person i was picking up the script for shame on you...never going there again. i had to give them a star so the would post this unreal

Horrible pharmacist!!! Would give minus stars if I could…read more We are from out of town. My husband was in terrible pain from an amputated finger. A prescription was called in yesterday early afternoon by my doctor to help. However, Walgreens hadn't looked when I got there at 4:45 pm. Why?? Then, after asking them, the Walgreens app quickly said ready - filled 7/12/2021. Again, why???? However, they said give them 15-20 minutes and it would be ready. That's fine. I assumed they had now at least looked at it. I would wait. At 5:14 pm, they called me to the counter and said the prescription was wrong - "not signed" and would not give ANY further details on issue. I understand and respect pharmacy law and I'm not stupid so proper documentation wasn't my issue. I figured that out myself. I hadn't realized it was a controlled substance in Michigan when it was not in Florida and Walgreens needed more documentation. That's all he had to say at 4:45 pm and it would have been fine. The real issue was customer service and sheer empathy. He waited until the doctor was closed to even look at it when everything appeared ok. Had they looked at 4:45 pm, I could have resolved before doctor closed and got it filled. Seemed totally intentional, lazy and non customer service oriented and his people were catching his seriously bad attitude. Today my doctor sent in what they needed early in the morning to avoid time issues. I knew because my doctor sent me a portal note time stamped. Then, the Walgreens app said it wouldn't be ready until 5:34 pm. (again after doctors hours). I feared a repeat. I called so we wouldn't have the same problem and his attitude was atrocious!! He said he "it wasn't there (which was a lie) and he would "get to it when he got to it". He was just nasty!!! While waiting yesterday, he did the same to others. I said forget it and I would take it elsewhere. Even had issues with this guy's sloppy work and poor attitude when I got to Walmart. He had erroneously and ironically marked it as filled at Walgreens so Walmart couldn't fill it at first. Walmart was helpful though and called Walgreens to get them to fix the wrong record. DON'T use this Walgreen if you want "health and happiness" per their motto. I heard 4 people say they were moving their meds in the 30 minutes they had me waiting yesterday. How many more have been treated this way? They really need to fire him!!!!! I worked in as a VP of customer support at a very large company and I sooooo would have reprimanded him and then fired him if he didn't change. If this happens to you, call corporate Walgreens customer service and open a complaint case.

And tonight I was in line, 10 min prior to closing, to pick up one of those "finally ready" arcs and was told that the customer who was being helped would be the last one for the night...10 min before closing!. The gentleman who was in line with me told the pharmacist that he needed to pick up meds for his wife, to no avail. I was in too much disbelief at her lack of compassion to say anything, but will never use CVS at Target in Marquette again for their lack of customer service. Go elsewhere to be treated like you matter.

Mistake after mistake was made until I finally decided to call the Walmart pharmacy. They were professional courteous and went ABOVE & BEYOND in helping solve our problem at an extremely lower price. When it comes to Michigan cannabis retailers there's two major categories, the corporate juggernauts and the clearly independent retailers. Technically, I'd say Rize definitely skirts the corporate side even though they only have a handful of shops in the U.P. When you get in the shop, after showing your ID (there are no anonymous cannabis sales in Michigan) you enter a very clean, very commercial environment. LIke most, well stocked, cannabis retailers they have a variety of brands you'll recognize, but they also have a few that are more exclusive to their stores in the region. Those products tend to be on the more bargain-side, then, when it comes to flower, you'll find some common mid-priced "premium" brands (Redemption, Fawn River, Chronicseur, Society C) along with their vertically integreted Royal Trees family on their higher end. They don't carry any of the "high end" Michigan brands, but quite often those brands have just marketed well and the products aren't superior. That's pretty much the game across the board. As someone who worked inventory I can say that Rize's purchasing guidelines are a bit stricter and more corporate than other retailers. Now, when it comes to concentrates you're more likely to find higher end brands, a big reason being Royal Trees tends to collaborate with multiple Cannabis Cup awardee Uplift'N. I often joke that Rize is the Applebees of weed; they allow you to keep a bit of your personality, but still need you to be a good corporate worker bee; you always know you're going to be able to get a decent quality product, if not the best; it's clean and well stocked with a very commercial feel; and well, if you know you know on the last one (but if you do know it's pretty funny). Honestly, Rize tends to get maybe 1/6 of my business when they hit with good deals. Marquette currently has the cheapest prices of quality product in the world so it's hard for a conscientious price shopper, like myself, to be strictly loyal to one company. In the end, a good place to go for newbies and price shoppers will often find themselves happy. One of the better establishments in Marquette.
