I had a pick up order at this Walmart today, which is the closest one to me. They texted to let me know my order was ready, yet when I arrived and parked in a spot I waited and waited, watching others get their orders loaded. Finally I called them. To make a long story short they lost my entire order. How? They accidentally, or mistakenly gave it to someone else. Merry Christmas to them! I had to wait about 45 minutes between the time they figured all this out and while they re-shopped for my stuff. It was hot, but thank God for air conditioning. If we senior citizens with health problems have things like this happen very often we might want to explore other shopping options? read more

This is a very small Walmart it's not very great it's OK it's usually very difficult to find someone to help you and Dia team leaders and managers are not very helpful either not the best Walmart has to offer read more

Terrible location. Any attempt at calling the store is a fail. It doesn't matter which department you call, no one will ever answer the phone. The automotive department is also miserable. They attempted to double charge me for tires I purchased online and I refused. A few days later I came and picked up the tires they "canceled" in store. The automotive department also cross threaded one of my tires bolts and now I need to get it replaced. read more

Something has happened to this store in the last few months. They are out of items in my favorites list for as long as 6 weeks. Then they substitute other items with crap I don't want. I have to finish my shopping at one of their competitors which is a pain in the ass. Their competitor can keep in stock but they cannot. Did they get a new manager or something? Don't they view out of stock reports, substitutions refused, don't they have that information and if they do, does it not concern them that I have to go to their competitor which is lost sales for them? I have complained about this weekly and nothing comes from it. The next letter goes to the CEO. There seems to be no management any longer and the customer help department does not care about my numerous inquiries. read more

if I could give a zero I would. the automotive Dept refused to change my tires unless they rotated them all. in my defense I needed all the tires but they only have one in stock at any store. there is no reason to rotate old tires. I changed my own tire outside and took it in to them and they managed to lose my center cap and refused to stand good for it. wouldn't show me the camera footage either where they state it proves them right. solid customer is always right my ass read more

The best Walmart I have ever been to. For those of you rating your Walmart with one star..... visit Baltimore. I actually shop there when I visit my daughter at WVU as opposed to shopping at my Walmart near my house in Maryland. Very clean, friendly people and easy to checkout. read more

I highly recommend Walmart Optical at 75 Retail Drive. I scheduled an appointment at Spectrum Optical as my glasses had broken, and I needed a lens upgrade. The doctor at Spectrum didn't even examine my eyes for lenses, he said I needed cataract surgery. He referred me to Regional Eye Associates. At least REA listened to me and wrote me a lens prescription. BOTH REA and Spectrum let me walk out with broken glasses and weak lenses. When I arrived at Walmart Optical (a full month and a half after my first appointment at Spectrum); Abby was incredible helpful in picking out proper frames. She took one look at my glasses and said "Would you like me to fix them? It will only take a sec." And it did. Plus the cost was a third of what frames were at Spectrum. I highly recommend Abby at Walmart Optical 75 Retail Drive, Mgtn., WV. She went above and beyond in service and competence. So refreshing after the poor service at Spectrum and REA. And of course I had to pay for 2 expensive eye exams at Spectrum and REA. Spectrum should refund me the cost of that examination, as they failed in their job - MAJORLY. read more

This Super Walmart is the same as most others but it gets an extra star from me because it has a small room dedicated to WVU memorabilia. This Walmart is a little out of town but is easily accessible from the interstate and is worth it to avoid the crowds at the downtown location. The WVU Bookstore may have a little bit better selection of different memorabilia but the prices at Walmart are definitely much cheaper. It is also a great place to grab your tailgating supplies and because it is a little outside of town it does not sell out of the supplies like the other stores do. read more

I frequently shop during night shift hours at the location! I'm always able to find what I'm looking for. Staff is always up beat and helpful but the real MVP is an employee named Spence. He's very nice and will go out of his way to have a conversation with you. He's always upbeat and smiling. He works hard and will always open an extra lane if need be. He's on top of it! Love him and this store has been great to me! read more

I am a prolific Hot Wheels Collector, and as such I enjoy browsing Walmarts all over the country to find Treasure Hunts and other collectible models. Most stores have peg displays and a small impulse box. This store has a gigantic inconvenient cardboard basin with enough Hot Wheels JAMMED in to fill more than two shopping carts. The cards are bent and the packaging is crushed from the weight of all the others on the top. I spent a great deal of time going through the container and got about 25 cars to buy, but I had to pile the cars into shopping carts just to look at the ones in the bottom of the basin. When I reached the bottom of the basin, I noticed that the display front was torn and that the extreme quantity of toys had been in the verge of collapsing through the side, so I decided to leave the Hot Wheels in the carts for the safety and convenience of anyone shopping after me. The manager of this location watched me like a hawk the entire time I was shopping (which made me very uncomfortable), then when I walked away from the display, rather than offering me some exceptional customer service and help with the god-awful display, he FOLLOWED me through the store (completely creepy BTW) and then had audacity to demand that I put all the Hot Wheels back into the package-ruining, completely inconvenient, shopper-unfriendly, terrible and broken display box. So here's the thing. I don't expect much out of Walmart, and I wouldn't even be writing a review, but the manager's attitude and demeanour were so off-putting that this encounter left me with a very negative feeling about my experience in this particular store. read more

Rudest Walmart experience that lasted a matter of 20 seconds with the customer service/moneycenter employee because I misunderstood her when she said they weren't doing Walmart to Walmart services today at this location which itself is ridiculous, not a sign saying anything about it, just an incredibly rude employee there to tell you no cash or checks today. read more

The employee in the electronics department today recommended the entirely wrong universal laptop charger (it has 10 different options in the pack) even after I showed him the EXACT charger size I needed. Thumbs down. So incredibly inconvenient that I now have to go to Best Buy later to get the correct one, and will have to make an extra trip back to WalMart as well to return the wrong one. read more
