They answer the phone promptly and even call me back when they say they will.

Delivery is ridiculous to insulting. Told them twice to hold items for a little while (2-3 weeks) before delivering, since we moved, still tried to deliver items to old place, meaning communication inside Slumberland is not existent. Second try to deliver finally in new place - bottom line, delivery people have no respect, showing attitude, walking with their dirty shoes on our new carpet, leaving marks. Asked to take shoes off or wear protection, my request was denied. Had no choice but cancel delivery and send them back.

The business used to be in quaint downtown, closed for a couple years, then opened in the bustling Muscatine Mall. Actually Muscatine Mall has really fallen on hard times and is mostly empty. Growing up it used to be a legit mall and busy. I give the owner props for trying to bring traffic to a struggling area. I also love supporting local businesses (I'm such a good friend). The store makes it easy to admire anyhow. They hands down are the best smelling and cleanest burning candles I've ever bought! My candle just flickered from the gust of Yankee Candle and Glade owners weeping from their sheer inferiority of their products. Friends has very diverse scents they change often. Some interesting ones: pink sugar, monkey farts, beer, frozen margaritas, log cabin, iced cinnamon roll, lilac blossom, champagne pomegranate, butt naked, the list goes on. Candle refills are .64 cent an ounce or $5.12 a cup. About half what candles on the floor cost. But candles on the floor are inexpensive and come in cute and unique containers. A few are in antique soda cans with the tops cut off. Adorbs! They also sell a few antiques and nick nacks. My gran bought a vintage china base lamp our last visit. there are 2 girls that work well together and have great ccustomer service that the manager has…read moreseparated. now the evenings are swamped, very little customer service by other employees. they are slow. and to top it off. the store don't get cleaned like it used to because those girls are making a difference when they work together, separate they are cleaning up other employees messes (slowness) and working double. please put those girls together! they know their stuff.
