I sure wish I would have done that first! CVS Oneonta AL - I guess they're all pretty bad! I'm not quite sure where to even begin this one. I guess after finding and reading this General CVS Pharmacy review page, none of them are very pleasant. This is specifically in regards to the CVS Pharmacy in Oneonta Alabama. This was the second time I unfortunately had to go in there regarding a prescription. They're one of the few places that are open on Saturday and Sunday. One of the not so great things about living in a small town. The first time I went to the CVS I was approached by the same young lady that approached me this time. The same unfriendly, I'm doing you a favor by even listening to you attitude she had the first time. I expressed to her that I am here to pick up a prescription that was sent as urgent for a BLOOD PRESSURE prescription that was issued because I had left my purse at a restaurant a couple days prior. Let's start with the fact that I was questioned like I had just requested a bottle of Xanax mixed with opiate pain relieving pills! At this point she turns and mockingly restates what I had just told her to another employee that was just about as into customer service as she was... That was an extremely rude and very unacceptable thing to do! At this point I am told that they would fill it tomorrow morning (this is also a half hour drive for me) I tell them it was called in as an urgent refill need - and they basically didn't give a poop. Supposedly they don't do urgent refill requests and they had been behind since yesterday. . . I believe that a business should hire individuals that are able to keep up with the job they're hired to do. I am sorry you guys got behind but that sounds like a you problem girls, not a me problem. Not only that, but after the way I was initially treated, I just didn't have it in me to feel bad that you got behind in your work. I asked them to transfer it to different pharmacy at that point and of course they couldn't! I had to go there and ask the other Pharmacy to do it. I don't know what went down at this point, but my prescription ended up being sent back to the doctor and I ended up waiting till Monday and that was very uncomfortable. Not only is it unhealthy for your blood pressure to rise when it's usually controlled it makes your face hot and your body uncomfortable and gives you a heck of a headache. I don't know what HIPAA regulations state in regards to pharmaceuticals but as the new week progresses, I am definitely going to be finding out. This was absolutely ridiculous, and to be bluntly honest - this employee is going to lose you customers. The first time I dealt with this girl was unpleasant, this time it was unacceptable.

While cahaba is still sometimes more convenient kn my way home from work, this location is more direct if im coming from home. Traveling side, both have lovely staff and they offer delivery service! Today's crew assisted us with our Tamiflu and we stocked up on kids ibuprofen and acetominophin. The flu season has been awful so they could only supply the initial doses for my two boys, but they will be delivering the rest tomorrow. I love supporting local, especially Jim and his team. While I hope no one had to frequent a pharmacy, check them out and know they'll always take good care of you and your family.
