Very limited choices to buy groceries in Pueblo for the population here. Walmart doesn't have to try, and they unequivocally don't. From the packed parking lots at all times to the hopeless wait times to have staff unlock a case for your razor, to the 20 people in line to check out... They have narrowed down so many items and choices that variety isn't even a thing here. These 2 walmarts have figured out how to force customers to have no choice but to shop here if you need groceries in Pueblo. I don't feel like a customer. I feel like a prisoner in line, being told what I can or cannot buy to feed my body. Just don't. I wish we could all just get together and go shopping in COS and leave this horrible place behind. read more

I went back to the same Walmart I complained about 7 months ago. I seen the same man I encountered when I was accused of stealing. Mr Sam is his name. If you read my other post about how it all went down 7 months ago. You will know that his name is Sam. I saw Mr Sam today while I was checking out my items. He told me to have a good day and still yes I did not reply. Than he mumbles under his breath whatever. So I stop in my tracks and said excuse me Mr. Sam what did you just say. He walked away so I said it again Excuse me Mr Sam please say what you want to say. He left for a few minutes when I decided f this I am reporting this dude again. So I went to the customer service and reported him. I was trying to handle this as an adult but the gentleman ran away from me. The sad thing is my child was with me and I constantly try to show my children how to handle things appropriately. I guess if I want to have a shit attitude and not care about my job than when I retire I will go and work at Walmart since this type of behavior is allowed. Really pathetic and always what do we hear around here when kids get in trouble the parents didnt raise them right. Well maybe some of the adults need to look in the mirror and so a fact check with themselves if this is how we talk to one another. Man up and stop running away. read more

Definitely more friendly than Pueblo West or North-side Walmart. This store is often bussier which results in lack of product on the sales floor but the difference in customer service is so much better. read more

The automotive service section of this store is a joke! I needed to change a tire on my SUV. I went to Wall-Mart because I figured the advertised price of $12 both online and posted inside the store for carry-in tire install was a good deal. On Friday about 6 pm there were only two very young guys, probably about 18, working. After it was finally my turn, it took the guy helping me about 10 minutes to punch in all the information into a tablet. Then he left to consult about something with the other guy and when he came back, he asked me if the vehicle was an all-wheel drive. When I said it was, he said he could not replace just one tire and he would get fired if he did! This was despite the fact that the replacement tire was identical to the rest of the tires and the tire I was replacing was showing clear signs of structural failure and was unsafe to drive on but I still had to drive my family home on this tire. I asked this kid if he could swap the tire if I just brought him the wheel taken off the car and the new tire and he said yes. So next day I brought in just the wheel and the new tire. When another service person entered all the info into the computer again, he told me it would be $29, more than twice the advertised price. When I called the manger, he was very unpleasant and gave me a bunch of reasons why the price was more than double, including replacing the valve stem pressure sensor assembly, not the regular valve stem, which is not required to be replaced with tire change and a bunch of other junk fees none of which made sense. In other words, bait and switch tactic which is in fact illegal. Needless to say, I declined the service and told them what they could do with one part of their anatomy to another. Also, the up-sale "policy" of not replacing just one failing tire on a vehicle is quite disturbing. It makes me wonder if this is a general policy for all Wal-Marts or just a local Wal-Mart policy the constipated looking manager of the auto service department came up with. I had an prescription for an epilepsy medication that the Pharmacist : Mike, refused to fill because he "disagreed" with the prescription that my Dr. issued. His decision left me without the medication I need to not DIE, for 5 days. I will be seeking legal damages for his near fatal choice. read more

It's the closest Walmart to my house. Limited selection. The people at the money counter are probably the nicest in the entire store.

NEVER ORDER A MEAT TRAY OR FRIED CHICKEN FROM THE DELI SECTION they never have your order and there's nothing they can do about it that's what they told me you would think with all that meat and cheese there they could make you one but they can't will never from them again. read more

AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! I had to call corporate on the pharmacy twice in one week. They would rather argue and fight with you than actually do their jobs. They also will laugh and threaten to cancel an already filled prescription than give you your medication. Employees will push past you in the aisles and ignore you if you need any help at the deli. The cashiers give dirty looks and spend more time gossipping with other workers or on their phones rather than helping customers. Don't waste your time or money in this store. They all think it's a joke when you're treated like garbage. read more

Driving through town and have a screw in tire. Came to Walmart as it is one of the only tire places open. I find it discouraging how horrible the customer service is. No greeting, no how can I help you. I walked into the the store and the young lady at the counter was not very excited to be helping anybody. The customer service representatives at this Walmart are especially dense. The young girl (named Dolores, I believe) was both extremely incompetent and unbearable rude. Went into the South side Walmart Automotive Department to buy a new battery for one of my cars. A new ad had just come out in Sunday's paper that had a good price on batteries so that is what I went looking for. The very young lady working in the auto department in their store said she would help me. The thing about it she did not know anything about cars. She would stock shelves and dust shelves but she was so clueless about automotive items. I told her what I had, the type of motor in it and told her that the car was an older car. She then told me they did not carry batteries for older cars? Then she showed me the most expensive battery they had that I could buy that one? I went and found a another employee working in the auto bays at this Walmart and he said they do not carry any batteries for older cars? I guest they think if a car is older than 10 years old, then they don't use batteries. Don't go to this Walmart if you need any automotive items or service. I think if you can lean, then you are hired even through you don't know anything about cars, just tell the customers you don't carry that item, no manner what it is. read more

My sister and I was at Walmart on Nov 1, we had alot of groceries and they never have enough registers with PEOPLE working them so we went to a self serve that can take a big order. So I started having an trouble with scanning so I pushed the help button. The girl (she is short with some blonde hair) she was right across from me helping this lady with a lot of Halloween candy. She was taking forever so I went to help my sister unload the groceries. Of course that's when that blonde worker came and she was headed over to the lady in back of me, I said I was first and the broad in back of me starts yelling THAT'S OK I CAN WAIT , THAT'S OK I CAN WAIT VERY SARCASTIC. NOW IF I HADNT BEEN BUSY TRYING TO GET DONE, I WOULD HAVE TURNED AROUND AND SAID YEAH YOU WILL WAIT. BUT I DIDNT, SHES LUCKY. So then the girl goes and helps her and from my side eye I knew they were talking about what had happened. The Walmart girl was being very disrespectful to me and letting that thing get a way with it. After I got home and started thinking about it, I was pissed. She's damn lucky I didn't call the manager.
