This was the worst Walmart pickup experience I've had. The substitutions were completely unreasonable--priced at twice the cost of my original items. Once I was at the store, the pickup staff were unable to reverse the charges, directing me to the corporate 800 number. After spending 10 minutes navigating an unhelpful phone AI, I was told they couldn't assist me. I then had to track down the staff to retrieve the unwanted substitute items and go inside the store to Customer Service for the correction. The entire process, which is designed for convenience, took over 30 minutes to fix. The store and call-in support systems need to be drastically improved to allow for immediate corrections on-site. read more

the staff sucks and they have VERY limited inventory. check the expiration dates on food if you shop there. only good thing i'll say is at least there are a sprinkling of cashiers. i don't do self checkout so it's nice to have an employee check me out. read more

I stopped by looking for some beer that my people at work asked me to bring back, first one than a text from another who also wanted some which I don't get. It's not available where we live because it's a southern/east beer, don't we have good beer where we live ?. I found it but the 30 pack can is no where to be found and only a 12 of bottles is everywhere, they said that would be fine so I grabbed Some. This Walmart is your standard Walmart which everyone knows and I'm just grabbing some more beer to take back to work, it's the grocery super store kind with the the specific beer I needed and nothing special. Absolutely DISGUSTING, no enforcement of wearing masks, no sanitation whatsoever, employees aren't even wearing masks and if they are they aren't being worn correctly (such as the mask being worn around their neck), the store is appalling. I passed by a group of people (not wearing masks might I add) discussing how they are supposed to be quarantined as they are sick but think that 3 days of quarantine is enough so they are now at the Walmart with no mask enforcements or sanitation methods at all. No wonder everyone is getting sick, this place is a cesspool of germs. I would avoid coming here at all costs if you value your health. I plan on coming back solely to gain more evidence of this neglect to public health and safety and letting upper management know and even corporate if I have to. I'm not a Karen, I've just seen too many people I love suffering when it is preventable with SIMPLE measures. If you aren't going to enforce masks (even though there are multiple signs throughout the store saying masks should be enforced throughout the establishment as well as sanitation methods) ATLEAST offer sanitary options such as being able to wipe down my cart or sanitize hands. By now this is not a political debate, this is a store and company wide policy that is being blatantly ignored and disregarded. People are dying and your Walmart and it's failure to provide a safe and clean environment is part of the reason why. I've done two pick up orders with them. Both times they charged me for items that I did not get. Then told me I had to go back to the store and go inside to get it resolved. They did not give me a receipt either. Not sure what the purpose is of using their service. I will definitely not be donating their corporation any more of my hard-earned money. read more

The pros of this Walmart is that it is RARELY busy and all the employees are polite and friendly. It's also a great Walmart to go to on black Friday, as it's in a small city. The cons are that they don't carry many things that other Walmart stores carry, for instance their bike and sporting goods sections aren't as diverse as some other Walmarts. read more

We stopped in just to pick up snacks. The shelf price for 5.5oz Pringles was an amazing $1.28! I snapped a photo and grabbed 15 cans and some drinks. I guess not surprisingly, they rang up $1.44 at the register. No problem, I showed the photo specifying the size, and price, but the cashier said that she couldn't override and a manager would have to. But she didn't have a way to contact a manager, we had to wait until one named Vicky happened by about 5 minutes later. Vicky the manager also wouldn't do a price override without going and investigating, so we waited another 5 minutes. While she was gone, the cashier said that they'd typically only honor a price discrepancy for one item. I incredulously informed her that if your employer insists on ripping people off even when you get caught doing it, then that would indicate a bigger problem. Then the poor cashier started to sob hysterically. She whimpered not to complain to her because she just works there. My response was that we all just work at our jobs and that change of what is wrong only happens when employees care about problems. Vicky came back and gave an unconvincing excuse about size and price. I got my $2.40 off my cart full of chips as well as the haunting confirmation that Wal-Mart knowingly and aggressively rips people off to the tube of 12.5% probably all the time. read more

Store is usually messy and unorganized, website will indicate that products are in stock, you get there and in actuality there are ZERO in stock, and vice versa. I go Wal-Mart a lot. This is the third time I did not get home with all my purchases. I did not get home with 3 items. But unlike the other 2 times I will not let this go and you keep my stuff and take the money. Doesn't seem right to me what do you think? Also the phone number that you list is only good if you have a pharmacy bakery or electronics problem I connected with the bakery department hoping they could give customer service the lady who answered the phone was very rude I work in the bakery I don't know the number and it was said as very sarcastic. Do NOT EVER take your car to this store to be serviced! Please read all of this so you do not have the experience that I had. I went in for an oil change - probably the first and most basic thing that a mechanic learns during their certification process. I love Royal Purple oil, so I purchased a five quart bottle and a separate quart. The spec for my car to run properly is 5.2-5.3 quarts of oil. I went shopping because I was told my car would be ready in one hour. With my groceries (lunch meat, steaks, frozen foods, etc.) I went to the automotive department to pick my car up. Here is the SHOCK! The attendant said to me that my car will not crank. I then proceeded to see what was going on. When I approached my car, all of the instruments were on and my battery was drained. At that point I knew that the "mechanic" left my car in the auxiliary mode because he was not knowledgeable enough to know how to push a button to turn my car off. The good news, a manager assisted me. After several attempts with a jump box, different jumper cables and cars, we finally got my car to start. Thank you for that service and thank you to the younger guy (helping hand) who assured me that they would make things right. I then pulled-off and realized that I did not get the quart returned to me with the .8 of a quart left in it. OH NOW IT GET FUN. The attendant brought the five quart bottle and the one quart bottle and said they used all of the oil. RIDICULOUS. A mechanic should know that a car should not be overfilled with oil. And what shop would work on a car without checking specs? Next step, the attendant called over-and-over for a manager to come to the automotive area for a customer escalation. *Note, the automotive manager left the store because his shift was over. So, my complaint is not about him. So, with time being of the essence, I had to walk to the customer service area to find a "manager." I explained the issue and I was asked if I informed the automotive department about the amount of oil that my car required. This was shocking. Why is that my burden? Why should I not think that they would know that? Moving along. This "manager" had to call for additional help. So, I was then in front of two managers who told me that they are not trained to deal with department out of their area. I let them know that I understand that, but I assumed that they had training on basic customer service. They let me know that the store manager was not in; so I replied, "the store is left for you to control in his absence. Their reply was, "he cannot be here twenty-four hours a day. Ha, ridiculous. With my groceries in the car being exposed to the heat, I insisted that they drain the .8 from my car. This was after I was told that they may have time to fix the issue. This was a blatant disregard for the fact that I needed my car to make it to work on Monday. Crazy; and absolutely no concern for the problem that they caused - drained my battery and tried to send me on my way with a car that was worse off then when I took it to them. In conclusion, I will follow-up the review with a statement about what the store manager is going to do. All would have been forgiven if someone even pretended to care. They were paid in full and I was left to wasting my Sunday for three and a half hours for a half hour job. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. Your car will not be considered as valuable to you. I really wish I would have waited to take my care to a real shop. Wal-Mart does not care about the local customer. They are a conglomerate and are only interested in their numbers at the end of the day. I am kicking myself for not going with my gut and utilizing a local business with people who care about their reputations. Terrible! read more

Dropped the car off at 1:15pm on 4/26/2021 for an oil change and tires rotated. I asked how long it would take and was told 2 hours so we left it. Called to check on it at 4:30pm when I hadn't heard from them. They said it would be another hour and would call when it was ready. I saw they closed at 7pm and since it was 6:30 and hadn't heard from them I went down to check on the car. Arrived at 6:45 and was told it would still not be ready until 8pm. Sat and waited and finally got the car at 8:30pm. They didn't even start on the car until we got there. Was told the other help left at 6. There were only a few cars in the parking lot when we dropped it off and none in the parking lot when we arrived at 6:45. This place has NO MANAGEMENT at all! If they did this would not have been allowed to happen. Can't blame it on being busy or Covid or anything else but management. When we showed up, the cashier even tried to talk us out of having the stuff done and bringing it back another day after having had the car for 6 hours. STAY AWAY read more

I understand that certain departments aren't open all the time. Not sure why customer service would NOT be open all the times the store is open though. So I go in and stand in customer service at 7:20am before work on July 4th. 3 associates walk past me in customer service. "1 tells me she will be back in a minute". No one bothers to address anything else with me particularly the fact that custermer service is closed. The associate working the register finally turns and says it doesn't open till 8am. 2 associates 10 foot from me and 1 on the register just letting me stand there. And when I ask why they just let me stand there no one attempts to get a manager and address my obvious outrage. No I never raised my voice. I walked out called the manger and headed to work. I was late. The manager was nice and apologetic. Maybe it will help the next customer. I've always hated Wally world and this is why. read more
