This Walmart has one of the worst customer service. Came in thru the garden center. Checker was on the phone. Went and did my shopping and wanted to check out there too. Checker was still on the phone 20 minutes later. I asked can I get checked out. She gave me attitude and told me to go to another checker. Tried to complain and they made out like it was my fault. Definitely won't be going back to this Walmart. I think they need to go to some kind of attitude adjustment class. If you use Walmart pickup or delivery, be aware: the store will not help you if items are missing. They force you to call the 1-800 Walmart number, and you have to wait 3-5 business days to get your money back. The store takes zero responsibility. I stopped shopping at Walmart a long time ago, but recently went back because I'm trying to save money. This is specifically about the Walmart on Pines Road. This was my third time using grocery pickup: * First visit: Smooth, quick, no issues. * Second visit: Waited 45 minutes. I assumed it was because of the holidays and decided to give them another chance. * Today: Waited an hour and a half, and they brought out half my order. I went inside to get assistance, and management refused to help. They told me to call the 1-800 number and deal with it myself. The line is mostly AI, so it took nearly 10 minutes just to reach a real person. At this point, I'm done. I recently had a disturbing experience at the Walmart on Westport Avenue in Shreveport (store #00448). After purchasing several items, including ice cream that began to melt, I sought assistance from an employee who helpfully took the melted pints. I returned to the ice cream aisle to select replacements. Upon exiting, I was confronted by an aggressive off-duty police officer working security. Despite having my receipt and the employee's explanation of the situation, the officer accused me of theft. This was an unsettling and unprofessional encounter. What's more concerning is that after the officer seemingly realized he had made a mistake, instead of apologizing, he appeared to escalate the situation. He repeatedly said to me, 'Be a man, be a man, be a man,' while also attempting to keep me engaged in a conversation, even suggesting we go outside to continue the discussion, seemingly to keep the exchange out of earshot of other shoppers. When I asked him what exactly I had done wrong, he was unable to provide a clear answer and refused to apologize. It felt as though he was attempting to provoke me into breaking some sort of law, perhaps public disturbance or another offense. It was as if he was trying to manufacture a crime instead of simply acknowledging his mistake and apologizing. Adding to the absurdity of the situation, the entire incident revolved around approximately $5 worth of ice cream. I had also purchased a box of wine, but the officer never mentioned the alcohol. It was all about those two pints of ice cream - which, I want to be clear, I did not steal. I understand and support law enforcement officers earning extra money, and I have no issue with Walmart employing them in security roles. However, I do believe it's inappropriate for off-duty officers to wear their issued law enforcement uniforms while working for Walmart. If they are being paid by Walmart, they should be wearing a Walmart uniform, not representing their law enforcement agency. Being falsely accused of theft, especially after an employee had already assisted me, was a humiliating and upsetting experience. The demeaning and unprofessional language used by the security officer only compounded the distress. I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with this incident. I believe Walmart needs to train its security personnel on de-escalation tactics, ensure that customers are treated with respect, and require security personnel, including off-duty law enforcement, to wear Walmart uniforms. This experience has made me question the security protocols at this location and has significantly impacted my perception of Walmart's customer service." read more

thank God after having a jump start by roadside assistance I arrived safely from my mom's home that I am visiting to the auto department. When I first arrived I saw two mechanics working. I went to the one closest to me. He was under a customer's car but I am sure he saw me if not my car which I left with the driver's side door opened. He didn't acknowledge me but then I see another young man inputing information into a machine. He looked up and kindly spoke his name is Taylor team lead thank God for him. I explained to Taylor my car was just jump started and I needed to purchase a new battery. He informed me it seem the only battery showing on his iPad was one with a 1 year warranty. I was somewhat disappointed but said that was fine . Taylor looked on the store's auto floor and came in the waiting area to give me pricing for a 2 year and 3 year battery. I advised Taylor I preferred the 3 year battery. Well the mechanics tried both batteries. Taylor returned to the waiting area with a pleasant demeanor to say unfortunately one battery is too tall the other was too wide so we were back to square one with the 1 year battery. As I was checking out Taylor looked at my receipt and informed the cashier she missed giving me a credit which he promptly did. He asked if cash was okay I responded yes . Even if it was only a penny I gladly received it. I appreciate Taylor from the start of our interaction until I left . He paid close attention to detail and found the error the cashier made. Instead of 5 stars I would give him 10. He was a joy and I am very thankful for our encounter. read more

Cleanest Wal-mart I have seen in awhile. Not many employees out on the floor, but it was actually pretty darn clean. Prices are similar to other locations. Parking lot was large. I was able to get most of what I wanted. Either they were out of bathing suits, or had sent them back. I don't know. read more

Well this Walmart is takes the cake. it is absolutely the WORST Walmart that I think Walmart owns. Not only could my husband and I not get assistance to purchase 2TVs but he even called the store no one answered and I was able to pick up the store phone in electronics (while looking at him) and tell him that I am unable to assist him, because idk how to page for help I was also able to use the Walmart phone any electronics to call different departments that did not answer this just goes to show the lack of customer service the small amount of assistance within the store, furthermore, we went to walk out and seen in customer service where I had just previously called (extension 150) from a Walmart phone to see 2 women sitting in the dark in the customer service section doing absolutely nothing but talking To each other further makes this despicable. Congratulations Walmart due to your poor staffing and poor choice In employees you have yet again lost money. read more

This Walmart continues to disappoint me. I like the fact that all Walmarts will accept all returns, but retuned frozen and refrigerated food at this store sits outside of cold cases for far too long. To add insult to injury, we've purchased spoiled food from here on several occasions. I've complained on facebook and to corporate about this store, and I've had the assistant manager call me to followup about my complaints, but nothing has changed in 18 months. The assistant manager has told me that if I see this kind of behavior in the future to ask to speak to management, but it's not my job to QA and not get paid. Walmart is what it is (no store ever has enough cash registers open), but we try to avoid this particular store if at all possible (and they're close to us!). If we have to shop here, we never buy refrigerated items. If you have to go to Walmart in Shreveport, save yourself the hassle and go to either one on Bert Kouns. read more

Worst customer service, laziest employees. The woman running the self checkout told people if they needed bags for their groceries, they would just have to use one of the regular registers. When checking out at another self checkout, juice boxes for my kids wouldn't ring up. When I finally got an attendant, their response was "you can't buy them then" and took them away rather than punching it into the system. read more

Layaway / site to store/ online purchases I should know better because I have experience this several times in the past. I have purchased items online delivered site to store and am actually picking up a layaway 1 month earlier then the deadline. I have literally been standing here waiting over 40 minutes waiting to receive my items. This is the same slow process when I purchase items online and come to the store to pick them up. I was passing through and on my way back to Florida. I wanted to buy some beer and I went to self checkout and was told by some snotty cashier "you can't buy that here". So I go to some other register and try to purchase it'. Told the same by her and I have to go in line to behind someone that has more than 50 items in there cart. So after patiently waiting for 20 minutes holding a 12 pack of beer. She takes over the cash register ad begins to start talking to the customer in front of me about how ignorant I am and cant understand were to go. What kind of customer service is this place. The ONLY reason it got a 1 is because I cannot give it a Zero. Lousy Customer service. I refill water jugs every few days. I buy 12 gallons of water. i BRING my jugs and refill the same jugs. I am NOT exchanging them. I am NOT buying the pre-filled ones the cost for a 5 gallon jug refill should be 1.85. I previously went to buy Hearing aid batteries from wal-mart on Wesport a week ago, they didn't work, i went to return them on Saturday 11/17/2018 about 12:30 pm. I encountered the young black female with an earring in her left nostril and the horrible personality. She became hostile from the very beginning. She and the other young ladies went the back and closed the door and had some type of discussion, rather than stay at the counter and professionally discuss with me whatever the problem was. They were so rude until I asked for a manager, Jamekka was her name. I didn't know what was going on and why this was so difficult, i had my receipt as proof of purchase. I had to go to the shelf and get the same batteries to prove i purchased them from wal-mart. While i was standing there waiting to received my refund, the Shreveport Police was called. I never raised my voice or was threatening in any manner. The police went into the backroom with the females and observed me on the cameras, he didn't confront me because he saw that i was doing nothing wrong. I know that i was on private property (Wal- Mart) and i had to conduct myself in the best manner or be arrested or kicked out of the store. The young lady with the earring in her nose was rude to me before and just wanted to get even because i reported her. She used her position as a wal-mart employee to call the police on me for no reason. I am 60 years and handicapped and cannot afford to get into any type of confrontation. I saw several cameras while i was there, you can reveiew them for yourself to see what happened. I went to wal-mart on Bert Kouns with the same issue and they were very nice and told me to take them back where i bought them. read more
