This Walmart is ok. I don't like the leads as they never know nothing. It's like talking to a wall. I hate their security. One followed me and looked stupid in the formula section because I was waiting for one of their workers to let me know if they had the formula I was looking for in the back. Go find real thieves. I'm in your store too often for you to be on my back especially with the damn camera in the aisle watching me. Cornball. The cashiers give or take are really sweet and the women that work apparel/baby section are cool too. I'm glad I took a picture of the St. Cloud sign because it's no longer there. But they're upgrading. I guess as a company, they're trying to one up target. read more

I was in town for work and needed to return size C batteries. I needed size D for a flashlight. I wanted to do an exchange at customer service, but only returns are here. Walmart carries the awesome Jonas Brothers popcorn. Apple Valley store has in front by cashiers. I had to ask and employee said it was right before the milk. I did self check outs and credit card was not read properly. You need to tap sign for purchase. Such outdated point of sale credit card readers. I rarely shop at Walmart land. That Jonas Brothers popcorn is great and only can be found at Walmart. I bought 3 bags. Review 23 in 2023. read more

This was my first time at this location. This is a nice size Walmart, that has a Walmart liquor store next door. My husband and I came in for some groceries, since we were cooking for the 4th of July weekend. I purchased some Turkey wings, and when I got home, I opened them and they were spoiled. Can you imagine if I didn't see all the slime or smelled the scent, how many people could've gotten sick from them? I was really upset. My husband took them back and the guy apologized. The date for them was a week in a half away. I'm sure what happened was, someone probably decided not to purchase the meat, and they sat out in the cart at the store. The person who put them back on the shelf didn't look to see if they had sat out too long. This will happen, and I was the one purchased the item. Ewwww! But the rest of the groceries were safe. We may visit this location again, but definitely be cautious of the meat. :-) read more

Waited 15 minutes at customer service employee told me she would not help me cance pick upl order I did online that went to the wrong walmart in a town a 100 miles away. Asked to speak to manager she said no and walked away. Finally got a manager, and the same employee was there talking trash to me thi whole time. Walmart in general is awful, but this location is even more awful. The parking lot is always full, including people parking in the pick up spots who are not here for pickup. There is garbage and litter everywhere and when you walk in the store an annoying beep from the exit area goes off every few seconds as people are always trying to exit (what's the point of it anyway). The shelves are always messy and things are stocked in the wrong spot. Prices are missing or inaccurate and it's just a cluster. I hate going here and try to avoid if possible. read more

One of the worst WalMart's I have been to. The physical facility is fine however the staff is NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED. I never saw such a large staff - mostly Somali in full garb,with absolutely no interest in the customers. When I asked for an item location, two associates feigned lack of language skills. Found it myself. I needed something from the Pharma and with everything under lock and key, it took more than 20 minutes to track down a key with three or four people involved ( I say involved but mostly they spoke in Somali so I had no idea who was saying what about who). I also asked for Ice and that caused another team meeting with three of four Somoli's talking amongst themselves for some time and after more than five minutes, one of them was able to produce a key and access the ice for sale. If you want to feel like you are on the streets of Mogadishu or in another exotic Somali local, you'll dig this place. If you are on a schedule and want to run into WalMart to pick up some essentials quickly, keep driving. Whoever is leading the staff there is a complete LOSER!!! Asked these lazy workers why they didn't pick up stuff behind where they were standing in self checkout. Instead they walk over and on the bakery tipped over, trash and a box of cereal. One gal says she will do it tomorrow and laughed. She didn't find it funny having her pic taken. St. Cloud Walmart went to crap. It's filthy all around...thank your workers as they do nothing. Only a walmart would turn customers away while they are still open. 10 minutes to close, i need 1 item(located by the front door), and im met by security and turned away. Sartell didnt have what i needed so i rush over think ive made it with time to spare but no way man. Completely ruined my night! I guess the superstore giant can afford to sh*t on it customers now a days with all the questionable business practices we keep reading in the news. This visit forever skewed my perception of what was once a long awaited treasure to the community. Btw did i mention i made this journey on my motorcycle and its cold af out tonight! Every single time I've shopped at this particular WalMart I vow never to return for one reason or another. First of all, getting in and out of this lot (and finding a parking space) is not for the faint of heart. Could they have made it any more complicated? It's like a maze. On several occasions, the items I'm looking for (whether produce or a particular brand of canned fruit) aren't to be found. The shelves are sometimes empty. Come on, people. You have stockers. Do a better job of keeping the shelves stocked. The wait times in line can be absolutely horrendous. Just last night, my wife and I were there at about 9 pm. They had a single cash register open (aside from the 20 items or less and the self-service registers). Needless to say the line was long. We had two people ahead of us and at least 3-4 people behind us. It took us approximately 20 minutes just to get out of the store. The cashier wasn't the fastest. This is ridiculous. Hire more cashiers and have them there. I much prefer the WalMart in Sartell. Quite simply, I'm better able to find what I'm looking for there, I don't have the parking issues, and the service is better. read more

Not tidy at all, it is a nightmare to get out of their parking lot. I hate that one of their side doors are only open a portion of a year, because the front can get busy and hectic. This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to. I don't know anyone that enjoys coming to this one. read more

Was very disappointed at the difficulty I had, even just trying to buy baby formula. Not only were the three girls restocking the infant section careless but also down right disrespectful. One nearly ran into me and proceeded to make shout Hiii! At me and ask me what I was looking at when I gave her a disapproving look for her carelessness. Just a very casual unprofessional attitude. Used their Walmart grocery pick up service for the first time last week. Got home and unpacked only to have rotten produce, expired deli meat (by a few days) and 7 MONTH expired Rxbars! What the heck?! Expiration 4/25/19... I will never shop here again. Gross. read more

I've been going to this Walmart since it opened years ago. Over the past 2-3 years, there's been a continual degradation of how the store is run. They no longer seem to care about their customers. First, I had trouble finding an associate in order to ask a question about location of a product. The person I eventually found and spoke with, barely understood English. I truly don't believe that she understood me, and just waved to the far side of the store after mumbling something back to me. On my way there, I stopped and spoke with another guy that told me a different location, again waving to a general area, but no aisle mentioned. I got the product eventually and after completing my total shopping, I tried to check out. They only had one register opened by their employees. There were 5 people in front of me. And soon to be an additional 3 more behind me. It took the register girl 10 full minutes to finish the first customer and then we all waited there for the next woman in line. I stopped the manager that walked by and asked why no additional registers were open. She said that it was because they put all their people at the customer self - checkout aisles. I asked , if they have people, why not open a register? She said that the decision comes from higher up than herself. They are obviously making life uncomfortable for their customers in order to force them to go to do their own check out. After an additional 15 minutes, two other people in line further back than myself also went to customer service to complain. They were told the same thing. After another 5 or so minutes they finally decided to open ONE additional register. The same customer was still at the front of our line removing product by product from her cart to reduce the total bill. When I finally paid for my items, I looked over to see that the first aisle was now stopped and they were waiting for a manager to come to clear something up. Thirty five minutes in line is not acceptable. But even more importantly, the store manager didn't seem to care. I guess in her mind we should just do what they wish us to do and use self-checkout. The Sartell Walmart is only 15 minutes away. I will never use this store again. read more

This Walmart used to be great. Now when I go in there I see most of the employees through the aisles just standing around talking the bathrooms are always a mess there's almost never more than two checkout lanes open other than the self-checkouts. There either needs to be a serious overhaul of better employees or better management to deal with the employees who aren't doing their job. I asked an employee why two of the same items had to separate prices and they told me I don't know check up front. They didn't even try to look it up on their little handheld thing and they went back to talking to another employee. This Walmart is really getting ridiculous. read more

Ordered an item from them online, it was a fiasco. Got emails from Walmart.com to pick it up, the store could not find the item or the order so a refund is impossible. Calling Visa in hopes that they can reverse the charges. No wonder Amazon is taking over the world, if this is the future of Walmart they are doomed. Good riddance. read more

Every time I have gone in this store I regret it. I recently ordered a store pickup item online and got the email the order is ready. So I go to pick it up and it is the wrong item. They don't have the right item so they try to make me take the wrong thing instead. I told them no and talked to a manager and had a very hard time understanding him. I told him I will wait for the right item to get restocked. So he tries to tell me to take the wrong item or cancel my order. Again I tell him I can wait. So I get a phone call the next day offering me a different wrong item instead or to cancel my order. Again, I say I can wait. I finally went online and had horrible customer service there so now I am going to drive over a hour round trip and hopefully get the correct item after this store wasting my time by not knowing what blond hair is vs black hair when they grabbed my item. The store itself smells awful and messy and not much in stock. read more

Not only is this the worst Walmart I've been to in the country, it's possibly the worst store I've ever been to. The employees could not be less interested in actually serving a customer. The wait times are unbelievable. It usually takes a good 30 minutes to get to the point of "can I help you?" Meanwhile, when supervisors are called for, they walk past and eventually come shuffling back like they're putting off working as long as they can. Other employees meander by, doing nothing in particular. The manager will eventual show up ten minutes after being called, mumble something and then wander off, never doing anything to help the ever expanding line of customers not being waited on. It's like this every. single. time. I'm at the point of vowing never to back in again, it would be better and faster to drive to another town. This store either needs a manger who will get serious, or be put out of its misery. read more
