I haven't shopped Wally World in 30+ years. Yah, I don't trust it. My family wanted to come here. They say they carry the organic items they like. Nah, Save Mart has better selection & more flavor options in Haägèn Däas Ice Cream. Their selection of Ben & Jerry's in Almond Milk base doesn't even come close to SM. Bought those, pepper jack cheese,hazelnut coffee, crunchy peanut butter & a hair brush after mine snapped. I wanted a bright red water bottle, but they only had pink. Oh well! Normally I don't really do reviews but it's been not sitting well with me the kind of behaviors Walmart lets slides with their employees. I normally never have an issue. But last month or so I was in the self checkout and this guy at customer service was trying to explain the policy to a customer and this other employee older female I think her name was Heather (from what I could catch) came up and was kinda rude to the customer. I tried to mind my business because maybe benefit of the doubt I missed something. But then she went back and forth with the gentlemen and he stormed off. What really bothered me the most after she walks after to watch him leave and she said the word "f*ggot." (I had to censor it because I'm having trouble with posting this review and I'm sure it's because of that word) I was ready to leave and I was stunned what I overheard. In this day and age where we are trying for more inclusive representation this is the person they hired to work with customers and be a representation of customer service? I couldn't get it out of my head. Especially when Walmart was doing children's hospital donations and being involved in the community. It shocked me that this behavior is seen as okay. And it must be because since I've come in since I've been more aware that when I've seen her work she has a nasty attitude towards customers and some employees. Just week or so after that incident I was shopping near pharmacy and saw her go to some little side room people were working in and being rude to some young man just trying to do his job. Is she even allowed to be doing that? I thought she was just customer service. So I wanted to let people know the kind of people Walmart hires and how they treat customers and staff. I've worked in retail before and I know what's it's like to have supervisors who don't protect their employees from others like this. So I'm just warning my community of this awful behavior. I expected more from Walmart especially since they have been helping the lgbtq community in Visalia. But it seems maybe that's all for show and not to their "real values" read more

She also recommended a Father's Day present, which I ended up getting for my father and he loved it. She was so friendly and welcoming. Walmart, 3750 So. Mooney Blvd. Visalia, CA. On Aug 14, 2024 we returned a gallon of Home & Garden Spray, because the tubing to the nozzle was missing. We did NOT ask for a cash refund, credit card refund. We asked for an EXCHANGE for same item. First of all the woman at the Customs Desk refused to allow us to talk to the manager. We asked an employee working at the food section to call the manager because we needed some help. The manager came and we explained the situation and asked to exchange the gallon of chemical for the same thing. This manager was worst than the Cust. Serv. lady. Her reaction to us asking for an even exchange was some what like "are you trying to cheat us"? Their behavior as if they are prison guards or work at a "high-end" department store. This review is for the Walmart on Mooney Blvd. in Visalia, California. I'm a pretty kewl older guy who really appreciates the convenience of having groceries delivered during the COVID fiasco. The grocery shoppers at Walmart are pretty good at finding what I want, and the substitutions, when offered, are usually ok. The main problem is--unlike other shopping services--the shopper does not call if there is a problem, for example, if they don't have what you ordered OR the substitution. Some other services not only text, but sometimes send a foto of an item you might be interested in substituting. If I order a dozen or so items, one or two items will be out of stock. This Walmart was often out of really basic items even before the pandemic hit. The shelves are often messy, and I've almost tripped in the clothing department because of all the items on the floor. Overall the store seems neglected in terms of cleaning and re-stocking. Hello, Management Team--get your act together. The employees and Pharmacy staff are awesome--very polite to old fogies like me, and very helpful. The third-party grocery delivery is a TOTAL disaster. I live in a nearby mobile home park that has canals and ponds and lawns and flower beds, and stands of trees. Geese and ducks running all over the place. The owners' system of street naming and addresses is pretty awful. There are street signs, but on letters, invoices, credit cards, etc., the USPS address system is followed : street names are reduced to a letter or two, followed by a cryptic mh street number. The park's streets are NOT on the city street grid, so it's important for newbies to follow any directions given. The first delivery lady found my place with no problem. She texted to let me know that she was on her way. The second delivery was made by a young lady who said that DoorDash (or Postmates) had shortened my directions to the point that they were useless; so she had to text me for directions, as we are in a GPS dead zone (again, because we are not on the city street grid.) Again, she had texted when she was on her way. The last two deliveries were made by some guy named Bernardo; never saw him, because both times he just dumped my groceries at the wrong address and took off! These third-party companies cut off the delivery phone number after delivery. If there's a problem with the delivery, you don't know who to call. If you call Walmart, they just give you the corporate number to call. After about fifteen minutes of being transferred all over, you are finally connected to some very polite but very offshore young men with HEAVY accents in customer service. They can only report the delivery as 'not delivered' and give you a credit, which takes days to go through. Any incorrect, damaged, or melted items have to be taken back to Walmart in person for a refund. Just a total disaster, dead on arrival, like Henry Ford's Edsel. You're better off going with one of the more tested and true services, such as InstaCart or Shipt. read more

TLDR : Will never return to this location again! Was in self check out lane, this middle aged lady I front of me had a clear case of cupcakes that were clearly ruined, she is upset because she scans the items and realizes she doesn't want to purchase the cupcakes because they're ruined (ok really? The case is CLEAR, you can see they are damaged , but go ahead and scan them any ways to change your mind) any ways so she's standing there complaining like "where is everyone, I'm Not paying for this, I don't see anyone coming, who's going to help me, ect" just complaining and peeping around for someone who can help her. So me without saying anything, I goes to find the nearest worker to help her and she has the audacity to start yelling at Me because she already called for help. Ok but I went to go get some help and someone came immediately . So I'm like what's the problem you got your help so go on so I can start checking myself out. She starts yelling shit at me saying don't talk to me so , I shut my mouth as the associate was still standing there. Then she's staring me with hostility like she's going to kill me. Manager walks up to me and tells me to go to another line. I asked why couldn't I use that lane when my items are already unloaded on the belt. They kept insisting I move my stuff and go wait in another line, really no reason as this crazy lady is already leaving the store. If there was a 0 star option I would of given it. Paul the assistant store manager openly profiles people. After calling and addressing the situation (I was using the Walmart app to check a price and location of an item, as to which what it's for) with him he denied it but knew what incident I was talking about, and details and still claimed he didn't know what I was talking about. After asking him a question about it he answered and then said "oh umm...I don't recall that incident" he caught himself in a lie. It may not look like much from the outside, but Walmart is always good for decent quality products at reduced prices and the supercenters add a full grocery department with a meat counter and produce as well. There is a Redbox DVD rental box inside entryway. The bathrooms look pretty good. The sink and toilets are very clean, but there was toilet paper on the floor so I think they need to ramp up the cleaning a bit. The faucets and soap dispensers are both automatic which is nice for keeping your hands clean without having to touch anything, but one of the two paper towel dispensers empty The whole store has nice wide aisles which were very clean and the shelves were well organized. There was even a decent selection of fabric in the sewing dept I came here looking for pineapple juice so I spent most of my time in the grocery section. There was mood lighting in the produce department that made the fruit and vegetables look as good as if they were in a photo on Instagram. The produce was very fresh and there was nothing overripe. I read in one of the reviews that the meat here didn't look good, but I specifically went into the meat department to check and everything looked really good there, too. read more

The manager named Agustin is an absolute fool, very unprofessional and extremely rude. I very rarely leave reviews but I really hope that he sees this. I have a special needs som who gets SSI and is only 4 years old. My husband went in there to get a money order and was going to use the SSI debit card and use the pin to make the purchase. My husband's name isn't on the card because both of our names can't be on it. My husband has gone every month to get a money order using this exact same debit card and Agustin decided that he wasn't going to allow it because his name wasn't on the card. What pisses me off is that he picks and chooses the rules to follow. read more

I can't tell you how many times I have found an item online that I want to purchase andnit clearly states its in stock at the store I am going to, only to find out either its not there or the price is much higher then it days online. I also believe they pull bait and switch scams. I found a micro SD card on their website for 5 dollars, said it was in the store so I went.
