Literally the WORST Walmart store, especially considering it's great location. Lived here for 3 yrs and there is never inventory- they are constantly out of staples in grocery and everyday essentials. Even the selection of hair products, soaps, shampoo, etc is horrible! And I can't tell you how many times I've ordered "same day pickup" online only to get a notification they cancel my order due to being out of stock (after it showed "in stock" when placing order. ) Their online system for inventory is not maintained AT ALL. So I placed a online order with Walmart for groceries, I live in a senior citizen building. My order was brought and left on ground outside of building, no bell was rung, and mind you big order with to 35 bottles of water. When I got email order was delivered, opened my apartment do to discover food outside . Had to get assistance of my neighbors to get food on a cart to get inside. Store was not in anyway concerned. I was hung up on, placed on hold , before I finally found someone who apologized, and offered a refund for parts of the order that was incorrect. Not a good place to get online groceries. read more

Walmart is like the McDonald's of stores; everybody goes there, but no one admits it. It's funny how we're afraid to say things. Especially when it comes to certain topics- where we shop, who we voted for, or religion. Why do we hesitate to question God. Not only his existence but his actions too. God created us physically and mentally vulnerable. So when on her very first day Eve was manipulated by Satan- a being almost as equally powerful to God- God chose to banish her and Adam from the Garden of Eden forever. She did not eat the fruit with knowledge that she would be betraying God. In Genesis 18 God plans to abolish the city of Sodom because wickedness has overcome it, but Abraham fears that there may still be righteousness found. Half of the chapter is Abraham speaking to God and begging him to spare Sodom for the sake of only 50 then for 45, 30, 20, and finally only 10 righteous people. Abraham fears God, and before each new request to save the city for a smaller amount of people, he begs the lord not to be angry with him. In Genesis 38 Judah gives his son Onan instructions to "go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her". Onan apprehensively follows these instructions "and the thing which he did displeased the lord: wherefore he slew him also." (Earlier in the chapter God had "also" slain Onan's brother for something wicked he had done.) I wonder why Judah was not slain let alone punished since it was him who gave the instructions. Is it the puppet and not the master that is wicked in the eyes of God? My point is if God is as forgiving, accepting, and loving as he's made out to be then why did he cast Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden for being deceived, why did righteous Abraham even fear God's wrath, why was a man slain for doing what his father told him to? Our dollar bill says "in God we trust" but our legal system grants more justice than God does. If you compare an average human being today to God from the book of Genesis, the human being is full of compassion and God is merciless. read more

Place does not seem to be understaffed just staff is extremely slow and uninterested in their jobs!! 3 out of the 9 items i needed to get today were out of stock or just not on shelf. I guess this is my punishment for daring to go in here at 2:00 PM on a Saturday. read more

After going to five different Wal-Mart locations to find Ro-Tel chili fixings, I finally find it in stock at the wake forest location!!! As a bonus I did not have to wait for a check out lane AND the cashier was friendly AND the guy checking our ticket before we left the store was friendly!! How can that many people work at one location and be that clueless? I am not ashamed to admit that I shop at Walmart. I'm a notorious internet shopper but there are certain times that Walmart's pricing absolutely cannot be beat. With that being said "Who in the hell is running this show?" It cannot be the first day on the job for that many employees. There can't be a formal training program because no one seems to know what Customer Service means. Who manages this place? The store does not meet the needs of the large community it serves. It is poorly managed, understaffed, understocked, messy and sloppy. Most of the employees are pulling from the shelves filling online customer orders. You see very few employees restocking. The meat section is so small and sparse and most times, empty. I've been going to this Walmart since I moved here 4 years ago and it is getting progressively worse, especially as the community grows. The store has a constant smell of greasy fried foods -- yulk! Get rid of that disgusting food service counter. And do we really need a Pizza Hut or Dominoes or whatever that is? More stinky food smells? Some air fresheners/filters won't hurt. This store is in desperate need of a facelift/new design, floors, parking lot repaving, rehaul, and most of all a new manager immediately!!!! I'll be at Target until they do! read more

I am not sure what is causing the downfall of Wal Marts across the country, or at least the state, this one used to be nice enough but now I find it dirty, usually with stock strewn across aisles, and the parking lots are a total joke. They advertise it as 24 hours but if you go in late at night, at least one door is locked and huge sections of the store are roped off for cleaning. I find myself going to Target instead. read more

The store is very unorganized and normally you can't get anyone to help. I have been shopping at this store since 2007 and this is my second great experience. The employees name is Grant. He seen that I was annoyed and before I even bothered to ask him for help he asked me can he help me WOW! I was looking for a iron. He didn't just show me where to find it but helped me pick it out. Talked about pricing and he was extremely helpful. He is a great example of how the employees in there should conduct themselves. When all was done he wished me a Merry Christmas. I would have told the manager there but last time I made such an attempt they didn't seem to care which is a shame. Thank you GRANT for giving me a great shopping experience! read more

Clean, Newly remodeled. nice/pleasant cashier who was very helpful. It was really busy both inside and in the parking lot, and hard to get in and out of. I don't know if that's because of the design or if they were that busy. If I do go back, it will not be midday. read more

Since we've moved to the area this Walmart has messed up my delivery and curbside pick-up EVERY time. In THREE years that didn't happen a single time in South Carolina. A few days ago I paid $10 for delivery, and only received half of my order. It took them not one, not two, but THREE trips to get the items to my house. I had to wait TWO days to get the entire order. AND today, I did curbside pick-up since they messed up my delivery order so bad, and they left $25 worth of meat out of my order. I noticed while I was unpacking my groceries. I called, and requested them to deliver them. At first they said sure no problem, and when I didn't hear back after an hour I called back. I asked to speak to their manager. Manager Jennifer came to the phone, and said I was told wrong, and they can only refund my meat order. I told her that obviously she is not managing her store well if orders keep getting messed up this bad, and customers are being told the wrong info. She said she was sorry I felt that way, told me to have a blessed day and MANAGER JENNIFER HUNG UP ON ME. I had to call back and speak to Associate Samantha to make sure I was refunded for my meat purchase. Who knows if that will actually happen, but I will NOT be shopping at this Walmart location EVER again. Thankfully Lowe's foods was able to deliver my meat that was left out of my order within an hour, and our dinner was saved! read more

Do You Ever Have Spoiled Milk In Your Fridge? If you do, help is on the way! In the grocery of the local WalMart there is a product available called Parmalat Milk. You will find it on the aisle where canned milk is stocked. It is in limited supply in the store, so you'll have to look carefully for it. This milk has a much longer shelf-life than the pasteurized milk you find in the dairy case. It can be stored on your pantry shelf for up to six months or longer without fear of spoilage. Once opened, the milk must be refrigerated to prevent spoilage and must be consumed within seven days. This milk is packaged in quart-sized containers and comes in fat-free, 1% or 2% Low Fat, Chocolate, and Whole Vitamin D Milk. It is a good item to stock in your pantry for those times when you run out of regular milk. The cost per gallon [4 1-quart containers] is comparable to the price of a gallon of milk in the dairy case, but the chance of spoilage is virtually nil. I bought two quarts in November of 2010 with a freshness date of February 2011 and just opened and consumed it less than a week ago. It was still fresh. The milk has a creamy taste that reminds me somewhat of unsweetened, condensed milk. If you want milk and cookies in the middle of the night, but have no milk in your fridge, just pull a carton off your pantry shelf and pour yourself a glass of fresh milk. Try some. There are a few workers here who are really great and will go out of their way to help a customer, but there are many who are just plain lazy and sometimes rude. Most of my visits go ok until checkout time. I never know which register to go to- and I usually pick the wrong one. I may even have to change lines a few times because: the cashier just walks away for no apparent reason, the cashier appears to be "working" but isn't really open (and rolls eyes if I ask because their light was clearly out), someone's food stamps or wic or whatever doesn't work, someone has brought up an item without a barcode or some problem that requires assistance-- to which, when the assistant finally shuffles over to the register to "assist", they just kind of stand there looking important and not really doing anything to fix the problem, no urgency at all, just kind of looking at the product like it will somehow fix itself. And there are usually on almost all occasions a few workers walking around the front of the store not really doing much of anything. To the few who are really decent workers, I truly appreciate your efforts in just doing your jobs, keeping a good attitude, and providing good customer service. There are other things I do like about this store- the cakes I've ordered here are always good, taste fresh, and are reasonably priced. The store usually has what I need, is stocked fairly neatly, and I know where most things can be found. read more

this walmart is ridiculous, i wanted to get a kiddie pool for my dog so i go online and see that they have one there IN STOCK, so what do i do i get in my car and i drive there. and we go to the pool section and we don't find it, so what do we do we ask an employee. and the employee told us because it wasn't on the shelf we should order it online and we should be able to get it today. so we order it. i then go to guest services to ask about it and the employee tells me that it's not in stock even though on the website it said IN STOCK. so i move on and continue shopping hoping that maybe i would be able to speak to someone else. so i go back up there after i pay hoping to get a better response and more help and no one is there. keep in mind there are literally like 20 employees that walk past while we are waiting and they keep looking at us then walking by. and finally we get the manager over, and she basically tells us that they are backed up in shipping and i mean hello we are here in person we are not getting it shipped, she also said that the stock room was to big to go looking for it. NO NO the real story is they were to lazy to just go get it. i am a paying costumer and i payed for the product so why can i not get it. this was a terrible experience and i know this won't happen again cause i won't let it. read more

I went here for Black Friday 2013...It's Wal-Mart, I know but I was appalled at the dis-organization. They didn't honor their 1 hour in-stock guarantee...Surprise, Surprise. That's because it took over an hour just to get through the check out lines. The T.V.'s which are always a hot ticket item for Black Friday were given out right away so their 6:00PM and 8:00PM ads were a total joke. After leaving Wal-Mart we went to Target. There was police presence, barricades so that the line moved along with organization and there was no pushing or running to get in the store. It was very organized and they handed out maps and even a little snack. There were items strategically placed throughout different departments in the store so that people could move freely in the aisles; And to top it off all the employees were knowledgeable, happy to help and super friendly. The manager at the Wal-Mart was a complete b***ch. The Wal-Mart associates had no idea where anything was at in the store and several told us that they were just learning as they go because there were told nothing about what would take place on Black Friday. It's no wonder they have such a bad reputation and this store as of many other Wal-Mart stores across many states was a prime example that they will always be second to Target. read more

This Walmart has always a high demand, due to the pricing. Sure you can go to another store on retail drive and pay $4 for most items, HOWEVER because its so busy don't expect to get fast service on the typical peak times - go when its quiet! I wanted to buy an electronic gadget but the other Walmart stores closer to my home all had it sold out. I called this one in Wake Forest, NC early this morning (around 7:30am) and was told they had plenty. Since this store is about 30 miles from my home, I had to think about if I really wanted to go. Finally, decided to go. But before I made the trip I called a second time to make sure they indeed had that specific gadget and that specific model. I was told again (by the same lady in the electronics department as the first time, as I can tell from her voice) they had plenty. I asked if she could hold it for me but was told no need as they had plenty. That was about 7:50am. Made a happy trip right away and got there about half an hour later. Talked to the same lady (I believe) in person and she went to the storage area in the back of the store to fetch the gadget. A couple of minutes later she came back and told me nothing was in stock and everything was already sold out!!! No apologies. This is Walmart. Sigh... read more
