They were fairly busy, so we sat at the counter. What it was- was a genuine lunch counter that's probably been around for 60+ years. What it wasn't ; was a highly efficient high volume re-enactment of a lunch counter. We sat at a clean - but by God genuine formica counter (probably manufactured when Hoover was president) . Service was friendly and the staff was exceedingly nice and helpful. They did forget my bacon- but didn't charge me for it ( waitress must have not heard me). She may have been overwhelmed by my dashing good looks. It happens. Lol . They made up for it with a great omelette for me, and a plate of French toast that deserved their own website for my wife. I got the " bonus" of introducing the Canadian tourist couple who sat next to us to the wonder of Southern Sausage gravy and biscuits . Which, IMO, is the reason god created crestor.
