1 Star Review Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at Walmart Store #00974. I came in following instructions directly provided by Walmart+ customer care regarding returning items from a Walmart+ order that accidentally included personal purchases made with my business card. I brought over 36 items back exactly as they were delivered by the Walmart+ shopper, still bagged and untouched. From the moment I approached customer service, the employee assisting me was rude, dismissive, openly irritated, and spoke to me with attitude the entire time. She huffed at me, demanded I remove everything from the bags, refused to properly review my Walmart+ digital receipts, and even stated she "did not care" when I attempted to show proof of purchase through the Walmart+ app. She then pushed items back toward me claiming they were not on the receipt before even properly reviewing the order. When I became understandably frustrated after being treated disrespectfully for over 30 minutes, she began yelling that "it was not going to go well" for me. A manager eventually got involved and initially sided with the employee before finally reviewing the receipts himself and approving the returns she had refused to process. The entire interaction was humiliating, hostile, and completely unnecessary. I honestly felt like I was in an alternate reality watching such unprofessional behavior over a simple return that Walmart+ customer care had already approved guidance on. Even as I left, the employee loudly yelled across the store that I forgot my receipts, when she had failed to hand them to me after printing them. This complaint is not about return policy -- it is about attitude, treatment, escalation, and complete lack of professionalism. Very upsetting & disappointing experience. read more

I've lived next to this store for 5 years now and every person in management I've ever talked to. The store manager is rude and talks down to customers as if he's too busy for us. The exception is the pharmacy staff everyone in the pharmacy department has been extremely helpful and very welcoming. read more

If you need stuff from Wal Mart, the Walton family has definitely put a lot of it in this location. This Wal Mart has lots of different types of food. There were Christmas decorations for the store and some you could buy and take home. I think I saw a lawnmower. Unfortunately, I had to check myself out. Some people say "If you check yourself out, you can give yourself a bonus." I don't think this particular Wal Mart has that 'bonus' button though. read more

This is a big Supercenter, very well lit and ample. They do not have the little blue hand baskets that you use at other Walmarts for quick shopping, so you have to push a cart, carry things by hand, or in your reusable bag. I went to get a few things and they had everything I wanted. The shelves looked very well stocked and the produce was fresh and it looked in good shape. At checkout they had about 12 self checkout stations, so my time in line was not too long. The associates seemed a bit hurried, maybe a bit overworked, but overall it was a easy pleasant shopping experience. read more

Every time unfortunately when I need to use the restroom and it's hard for me to find a stall I try to use the mothers room because I would think a pregnant lady would be able to use it but, it is always occupied I would think it would be open to mothers with children and pregnant women but when my husband was waiting outside for me to use the bathroom in the family restroom instead he saw a man walk out of there with no child nothing I would understand if it's fathers with children but nothing for no reason and there always in there for the entirety of when I'm in Walmart why?.. not fair for all the women with toddlers children in the way and they need to use the mothers room for it's purpose a mothers room. read more

This is my preferred Walmart location in the area. It is typically well stocked, clean and there are multiple registers open. Today there were many empty shelves -no tissue/toilet paper, no water, no cleaners, no canned goods, no bread, limited meat and frozen food. People are preparing for the corona virus. This is worst than when hurricanes hit. This store had plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables though so I grabbed what I needed and got out of there. read more

Walmart Store 974 needs customer service 101. I was discrimated against by manager Alison for simply tell the employee that she was rude. There was no yelling, shouting, cursing on my part, the employee felt a certain way about a return, with receipt and the price was less than $20. Just did grocery pickup and the employee let the wagon handle SLAM into my car. Didn't even apologize. When I got home I noticed there is a scuff mark that won't come out. Coupon are made to be used. My coupon was a 5 dollar legit one, but needed the manager. So the kind cashier call the manager. I waited 5 minutes, ( no problem), and finally she arrived. Not sure what's happened to this Walmart in the past months but they seriously need to get it together. There's a endless list of problems at this location in relation to the customer service of its employees and the complete disregard for shoppers when filling their giant carts for pick up shopping and leaving these huge carts in the literal middle of the aisle. However, what has really pushed it over the edge for me is the unbelievable amount of items they leave in the isle still boxed. I can understand having displays in the middle of large isles but it's gone way past that. Came in to find a simple stud finder and the first picture I attach is of the isle I was supposed to some how be able to walk down, and the second picture is the isle next to it so it's not even just one isle they are completely blocking, it is multiple isles. Not sure who thinks this is safe for customers, I can barely squeeze down the isle as a small female. All it takes is someone bigger than me or someone who has difficulty walking to fall and have these boxes come toppling down on them and cause an injury. I feel like there has to be some kind of codes or rules as to how much room you have to leave in an isle and I'm sure it has to be more than a tight squeeze down a foot and a half walk space. Tried to call the store manager number that they have listed at all entrances but it did no good as they don't answer the phone - I don't blame them, I wouldn't answer either if my store looked like it was straight out of hoarders the way the boxes pile up in the isles 8ft tall. Today I had an eye appointment, arrived a few minutes early, filled in the required papers, and even received my computer "poof" in the eye to check the pressure. Apparently it was social hour for the eye doctor as I could here the conversation with the patient. Talking about diseases, diets and infections and what he snacked on last night. I patiently waited, after 30 minutes I then asked the staff, "how much longer?" They we're just as confused as I but didn't know what to do. I'm retired, but still my time is still valuable to me. I sat there patiently for 45 minutes, then got up and left, the staff apologized claiming there was a late appointment before me?! I thought that is why we have to schedule appointments? No one answers the phone, the associates meaning the loaders - dispatchers refuse to check you in as if that is not their job, they tell you to call the phone number on the sign and no one answers, it goes straight to voicemail. One fine evening, I was at a friends place having dinner when she told me that the air mattress she got was for a very good price and that I should go to Walmart and get one for myself. yes, I was wearing a dress and heels and looking nice with my lower end branded purse. I walked into this Walmart and was standing at the checkout lane with the air mattress box in my hand when a young individual was passing me from the other end. I was looking to where's the floor, but this guy was so much older than me that our eyes met for a split second. he started cussing me out, saying that I should not stare people in the eye. I turned around and told him that I could ask him the same thing - what was he doing looking at my face? that is when does the young individual formed a fist in the air and started running towards me. I ducked and used the box of the air mattress as a shield. I was obviously very lucky that his girlfriend somehow managed to stop him from assaulting me. if you are a working professional in Melbourne, I would advise against visiting this particular Walmart. clearly the people in this neighborhood do not like a well-dressed educated looking person shopping in their area. Where to start? Well, I must have called there 10 times and let the phone ring for far to long with no answer. All I wanted to do was ask a question. But, now I will drag my a$$ to the store to ask it in person. WTF good is a phone number if there is not anyone to answer the call? I decided to make the purchase online blind. This place is an absolute shit show. I waited an hour to pickup 1 item. I got there the tower was broken (understandable) so I went to the customer service desk waited in line and they told me I had to go to the money order line waited in line then they told me that I had to call the pick up desk. When I called the pick up desk they told me they didn't know how long it would take and hung up on me. I finally received my item. No one offered to help me and watched me stand there waiting. This is probably one of the worst Walmarts I have ever been to. It is very disorganized, never properly stocked up, the items are located in random areas. The bread isle is right next the paper towel isle. The older man that is usually in the section stocking the cleaning supplies is probably the grumpest, most miserable old man I have ever dealt with at a Walmart before. This is more for the Walmart Auto center, however, I am so displeased I do the think I will ever come to this Walmart again. My husband and I went here to have an oil change done on our car. The woman at the counter said the wait time would be over an hour. This was fine, the other Walmart was 3 hours and we understood. We provided our cell number to call when ready as we left the store to get lunch across the street. It was over an hour and a half and heard nothing, so we returned only to be told she called us over the intercom an hour ago. We had finished our lunch quickly and would have returned much sooner had we known they were finished. We informed her we weren't in the store. She never tried calling she explained she thought we were in the store. At all the other Walmarts I've had them call, we have lived in varying cities, each have utilized the cell number provided. Then when we finally brought the car home it was leaking oil and smoking. We had to come back for them to check. Now we are still waiting, it's been over 20 minutes and they haven't even checked the car yet. I will never shop here or have my car taken care of here. They have lost our trust. If they had some semblance of compassion and work ethic I may forgive mistakes and miscommunication, but they act indifferent and uncaring. They also have a much larger garden area, which is nice if you like to stop and smell the flowers. This location has the bathroom supply's right across the hall way from grocery's. This is my local Walmart. I regularly visit here. My favorite thing about it is the Walmart grocery pick up! It's by far the greatest invention! Isles are wide and I love the set up of this Walmart. My main complaint is the weird smell that is often present when entering through the grocery side. I also cannot stand that the employees smoke right near the entrance or on the outside of the building right by the carts. There is a smoke pit in the back for a reason, it needs to be used. read more

This is the cleanest and most well put together Walmart that I have been to in the last 3 years. All of the isles are wide enough for two carts to pass down. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They dont run away when you approach them with a question. All of the shelves seemed well stocked. Tried the online order / curbside pickup. First time went without a hitch. This second time, the order was not fulfilled (checked online the next day and found it was still "pending"....but they did charge me for it). Called and when transferred to the department is rang for several minutes...no answer. Checked on day three indicated the order was canceled; however, I received no notice whatsoever. Tried on two separate occasions to talk to the pick up department (hung up after 10 minutes on hold) and then the manager (hung up after 10 minutes on hold). I'm guessing Amazon could deliver my items (from California to Florida) in less time and with fewer hassles. read more
