The cleanest Walmart I've been in. Counters were spotless, employees were welcoming, and store items were organized.

Store only has 2 cashiers! Why should we be forced To go to self checkout?? Employees are Overworked! They Do Deserve a Raise! Walmart is obviously better than their typical review, because the parking lots are full and these establishments are the typical go twos no matter what you need. Want some fried chicken? Here you go. Need a condom? Here you go. Need a new bicycle? You get the point. the prices are kept reasonable because the business model accounts for things such as customer cart, return and self check out. If you don't like to be a participatory customer, go somewhere else, but don't complain about the stores that feature these. read more

The store is perfect .Some of associates there act like they don't care about no one .I asked lady with red hair in front to help me see if lights worked on tree . I knew I was getting tree for mom room . She just said no we don't do that here . I went to back of store by electronics and found a outlet . I don't know . I seen her help others as i walking out door . I seen lady told man that was behind me in electronics that she didn't work in electronics depth. The lady had on Walmart jacket and had walmart scanner in her hand . I'm sure they don't get it . I worked places we had make sure we had all customers with smile on regardless of we worked in depth or not . I guess it don't matter . I hope I can move on . Horrible bathroom. Two doors where broken and unusable plus no toilet paper. To top it off used handicap to help my mother, whom is in a wheelchair, and then to find there is no toilet paper Really!!!! I have worked as a janitor and this is completely unacceptable read more

Walmart advertised their product for pickup but canceled the order stating "no stock" at local store. Went to the local store and product was not only in stock but the price was $60.00 more. Walmart store refused to price match with their online counterpart despite having the ability to purchase product and pick up in the store. Manager stated they are not the same as Walmart online! I am more than appalled at the obvious need to price gouge their customers. This appears to be a ploy of Walmart to ensure they get customers to pay the higher price for their products. They are providing false advertisement on their online site when "in store pick up is an option." If Walmart wants to "claim" their online store is not the same as their retail stores then they need to make that abundantly clear to their customers when purchasing products in either manner. I have since purchased a similar product online from DICKS SPORTING GOODS and picked it up same day and at the same price. read more

Tried to use a gift card and it wouldn't work. One employee, his name was Ken, was kind and tried to be helpful, but he had no idea what he was doing. He sent me to the money center to receive help, and the lady there was so rude. She talked to me like I was an idiot and offered me no help at all. This is my experience EVERY TIME!!! And I don't mean the gift card, I mean the terrible service and downright disrectful, mean employees. As someone who works in customer service, I understand that the job can be stressful; however, that doesn't warrant ruining someone else's day just because you don't like your job. read more

Walmart use to care about their customers. Long ago I worked for the Walmart in West Monroe, before it was a super center. I do not find the West Monroe store very welcoming. Most of the members do not wear a name tag or have it turned so you can not read them. You have to usually search for help and then they will pawn you off on another member. They act like you are just bothering them to ask a question. Most of the time you can not get down the ailes to shop. They are all over putting out stock then act like you are in their way. I don't have a lot to say about Walmart that is nice anymore. They have come in and taken away our choices of where to shop. Now they have decided to go after the only other Groc that competes with them, trying to put them out of business by setting up these new Corner Stores.. Bullshit! I simply cannot believe that suck or service still exists. I went in to purchase a cell phone. After standing in that area with NO OTHER customers for a few minutes, I asked an associate for assistance. After briefly glancing in my direction she acted as though she didn't hear me. She continued a conversation that she was having with a different woman. After repeating my request for assistance, the second woman stated that she doesn't work here. I then asked the associate, yet again, for assistance. This time, she mumbled something and stated aloud, "I'm going to lunch." I asked, "Is there not anyone working this department willing to assist customers???" The woman that initially said she didn't work there, then told me that the associate leaving for lunch would have someone come over to assist me. Frustrated, I expressed that the dismissive attitude of a sales associate is absolutely appalling!!! Simply SHAMEFUL. I will not return to this location. People want and need jobs so badly. Yet, when some of them get a job they simply don't want to actually work. This Walmart is at the bottom of the list. Do not expect quality service. read more

Please save yourself the time and headache of dealing with the vision center in West Monroe Walmart. While the staff person spent more than 30 minutes at the guard post of the office with her male companion, I was denied entry to choose frames before my exam. As an adult, I find it extremely disrespectful to be constantly given commands in a tone used for school children. Now...off to find a clinic where customers and staff can interact with mutual respect. read more

Lots of stuff to buy under one roof. Doubt many folks walk out of here spending under $20 bucks. There's good meat in the grocery section, their seafood offerings not as good. Mostly ok with the produce offerings - it's odd when there's no fresh-looking green onions and garlic. Staff looks overworked - cashiers, , cart collectors, - but otherwise friendly. The greeters have always been nice. No complaints, no raves. It's functional, it's useful. It's what you expect. read more

I know- reviewing a Walmart? Everyone's been to Walmart. OK, well here's why. We were stranded in Monroe, LA. Just checked out of our hotel with a 6 hour drive ahead of us, and packed to the hilt rental car that had a flat. It was Sunday morning and all the tire stores were closed and the nearest rental car location was 100 miles away. We had to be at work the next morning! Walmart tire center couldn't safely plug the hole in the tire because of the tire's wear. We needed a new tire, but they didn't stock the odd model of tire, and couldn't fit us with a similar tire due to policy or law, not sure. They lent us their jack, and my husband bought the closest tire and changed it in the parking lot. They helped us to know this would be safe for 6 hours to get us home with our kids, and that driving on a donut tire to Shreveport was not okay. We felt their customer service and willingness to help us where they could was above and beyond and worth reviewing. We would have been completely stranded otherwise. Good job Walmart! read more
