I grew up in this neighbourhood and witnessed the decline of customer service and management at this location over the past 7 years. I asked if they had a specific item in their store. I was lead to a random aisle that had nothing to do with product I was asking about. I asked another employee to just help me find out if the item is sold at the store or not, they lead me to a different aisle and left to assist another customer. I asked some at their returns department to help me, they said they don't know. I've also witnessed many employees talking aggressively to older white people, they are located right beside a retirement home. This location has turned into something shameful that shouldn't be apart of this community because the employees can't handle it. read more

This huge Walmart Supercentre is located on the northwest corner of Sheppard Ave and Kennedy Rd as part of Agincourt Mall. You'll find at this single floor location the usual Supercentre departments including produce, meats, hot prepared foods, pharmacy, jewelry as well as a McDonald's. Product prices and customer service is good. The mall parking lot is huge and this store is close to TTC transit. read more

The Walmart located at Kennedy and Sheppard is my local store. The store is kept clean and it's easy to navigate for items you need BUT when it comes to access into the change rooms, it's a whole other situation. This morning was yet another disappointment when NO ONE in that store has a key to grant access. The store may not care about the potential of a $200.00 sale but that's a reflection on them and any sale should be fairly easy to accommodate. That key should be kept in the change room area so that any employee can grant access; this is not the first time, nor have I previously left any review but today was the final straw. read more

This Walmart is just crazily busy!! Lines.... Lines...even the "Express" lines have over 10 people waiting at times.. You might have problems if the products are on sale since they always runs out of even normal everyday products as the associates never have time or fast enough to fill up the shelves. Ample parking though as Agincourt Mall is practically dead aside from Walmart and No Frills customers. Just breathe and be patient. This is not my local Wal-Mart but I do stop by ever so often for miscellaneous items. Needed to purchase some fruits but couldn't find them. Thought I was going crazy so I stopped an associate in the cosmetics section to ask: "Excuse me, is produce sold at this location?" "What?" "Produce." "What's that?" "Like, apples and oranges." Not a huge fan of this Wal-Mart, considering I have experience with several Wal-Marts around the GTA. In terms of selection, however, it's not bad, especially for one that's not a Supercentre. Most of the time you will find what you want. However, what drove me insane in this Wal-Mart is that all the price check machines have been ripped out of the walls. However, the price check signs are still there! I ran around to every price check counter to check the price for a product, wondering why each one had no price check machine. I don't mind the fact they don't exist, but at least don't mislead us by ripping out the price check scanners but not the signs. Cashiers were about what you expect for Wal-Mart. If they were actually out of this world I would've considered 2.5 or 3 stars. read more

They never have enough cashiers, the store is always disorganized, if you want to return something they hassle you, and if you need help your on your own. Rude customer service at the Walmart at Kennedy and Sheppard (Agincourt). This guy was on the phone for 25 mins with his back to me. When I asked him if they had the joy cons in stock he just replied "photo centre". So I went over there and there was no one there to help. Waited another 20 minutes until I went back over to the guy to ask for help. At this point he was talking to another Walmart employee and she went over. I thought she was going to help. But she paged the guy over. To my surprised the guy actually told the other employees "oh but there's no one here" Then another customer was also waiting there asking for help.At this point I'm thinking should I just go home... This Wal-Mart is always busy, and I find that they do not have a big selection of anything. They always seem to be out of stock or always low in stock of whatever I am looking for. The only part that I find enjoyable shopping here is going to the McDonald's and that's about it. The express line is not an express at all. Check out always takes so long. This Walmart is good if I am looking to buy only a couple of items, but if I have a big shopping list, I drive the extra 20 minutes to the SuperCentre at Markham and Steeles. read more

This Walmart is SO horrible, I have to start the review while I'm in store- with my phone. That's when you know it's real. It seems like this Walmart specializes in hiring every brain dead high school dropout in agincourt. I came in looking for a pair of workout gloves, after mine has gotten stolen for the millionth time. Every time I go to any other Walmart, it's efficient and I get in and out in 10 min. They had stock but it had no price tags; I asked a nearby associate about the price and she quickly dismissed me with a "I don't know" WHY DO YOU WORK HERE THEN!??! I then went to the front to price check/pay, and then 'customer service specialist' named Chandra slightly groaned when she realized the situation and gave me some quick lecture that it's annoying that she has to go to the sporting goods section to check- It was unclear because she was groaning in some unknown language ....UM? She then proceeded to serve 5 customers behind me without confirming with me what she was going to do next with my item. Now she's run off to go look for the price (I think, I don't know, she just disappeared) ?!? The other associates are walking around me and chatting.... what kind of business is this?! She came back and couldn't locate the gloves so she gave me a set price of $17 because that's how much the more expensive one was; she then told me she couldn't find anymore of the glove I wanted. I told her it's not $17 because it's not the same brand and there were a bunch more. She rudely said "well why didn't you bring one with a tag?!" and I answered "why would I NOT bring one with a tag if there was one? You think I want to waste half an hour here?!" then she raised her voice and said not to argue with her and just bring her to the section where the gloves were. She was so loud that everyone in the neighbouring lines turned around to see the commotion. In the end, we found a lone tag and when she scanned them, surprise surprise -THEY TURNED OUT TO BE $6. If I didn't argue back, she would've charged me $17 for a pair of mediocre gloves... she then turned super nice and looked ashamed, but that's NOT a remedy for anything- no apology, no anything! THANKS WALMART FOR NOTHING. See you never again! read more

I hate coming to this Walmart, but it's so convenient for me because of the location. Lining up is the worst part. Along with the horrible service at the electronic department by this unhappy middle eastern lady, who may be mute because all she can do it point. No greetings, no eye contact. This Walmart had most stuff I needed to buy, right now they are switching out logos. So basically they are replacing the 1981- 1992 logo for the 2008- present logo. I actually prefer the older logo from 1981. They are also fixing something inside the Walmart but I don't know what they are even doing? Just a big clump of space wrapped up. The Walmart is also connected to the inside of the mall. So if you enter just from the gates of the Walmart, on the other side there is an entrance into the mall. Right beside the toy section there is a McDonald's, so you can take a lunch break while shopping around. Service: People were very nice, every time they see you they will ask you if you need any help. I found it really nice of them to ask even though I didn't need help. They make you feel really appreciated! Neatness: It kind of all depends on the package, like if it is the normal box like Lego or furniture. It is often really neat and tidy. If it is something that hangs on a rack like Pokemon card packs. It will be scattered everywhere. Well that also depends on the quantity of the product. If there is less it tends to be kind of messy, if there is more it will tend to be more clean. Last thing I am mentioning is that you will have no problem finding a parking space. They have a lot of space for parking and usually it is not very cluttered in the Walmart. read more

Yesterday I went to Walmart to buy some clear and white glue for my daughter. I find the white glue but I can't find the clear one. I only find the gift box, which contain 3 clear glue and some other stuff. I walk around and try to find some help, but there was no employee around. So I walk to the customer service beside the cashier and saw a lady wearing a vest writing 'I am happy to help' and the back. I told her my problem but she just told me to goto that section to find it. I said I've in that section for more than 15 mins and I can't find it and neither I can't find anyone to help me, can you show me or check the system to see if this is in stock or not. But she just refuse to help me and just said goto that section and find it by myself. I witnessed an altercation in the store last night as they were closing and was truly appalled with the staff and how they continued to further aggravate the situation rather than find safe ways to de-escalate the situation further. Customers were forced to remain in the store because they locked the front door while the altercation happened, rather than maintaining a physical distance from the woman, another customer attempted to restrain her but quite forcefully and no one did anything! I asked if there was another exit for the other customers to leave from and he said no refusing to find safe passage for the other customers to leave the stressful scene which further aggravated the girl and escalated the scene. To make matter worse when the did let people start leaving I noticed that no cops had arrived and I remained there for 15mins and saw nothing. My whole point is that all this could have easily been avoided because they have security cameras and could've let her leave and identify her from the cameras. Regardless the whole situation was very sad and terribly handled, I hope the young woman is ok, I wish I could've done more to help. read more

I usually go to the Wal-Mart at Steeles and Markham but sometimes if I'm in this area I'll stop by this one to pick up some baby essentials, milk or cosmetics. The store is quite disorganized and the line ups to cash out are long especially in the evenings after 8 PM. Last night I had one of the worst experiences here. I reached the Wal Mart around 8:30. I needed some diapers, baby food, milk, and a couple of household items. So I had only ten items to buy. After collecting them, I lined up to cash out the items. Only two cashiers were open in the express line and two in the regular ones. So, the line ups were huuuuuugee. I decided to stand in the regular line because the line up for the express was even larger!! After waiting at least 30 mins in line the cashier processed my transaction. I said hi and she just ignored me. She was an old woman and the way she was processing my items was so slow. I'm usually patient so I just waited. Then it seemed that she had scanned one of the home items TEN times.. so she had to cancel the transaction and redo it! That took another ten minutes. So by the time I reached home it was almost 11 PM and I only live ten minutes away from this Wal Mart. This Wal Mart is extremely understaffed and needs more cashiers especially close to closing time when there are a lot more people. Also, things need to be better organized. read more

Worst walmart ever. People there are rude. The greeter was eyeing me after I paid and still asked for my receipt just to stall me. She didn't even look at the receipt. She was rude. For people who get stopped, you have a right to not let them check unless they have proof you stole something. So just kindly tell them no and walk away. You are protected by the law. I'm not a big walmart fan, but this one is not only crazy with the lines, but stuff is difficult to find. My friends with children recommended hitting up a walmart to get baby supplies (I'm hosting a baby shower in a few weeks). I spent a few hours in Scarberia as a result. Not impressed with my self-checkout transaction today. First of all, I like to go to self-checkout because it should be a peaceful, smooth, and quick transaction for my usual small purchases. But today, this very invasive "brown-skinned indian" man, literally took my one and only purchase right out of my hand as soon as I was about to scan my item. Then he scanned in for me and tapped all the options on the screen up until the payment screen. If I needed the assistance, I would request for it. If I don't need your assistance, leave me the hell alone!!!!! It is called self-checkout for a reason... So I can checkout by my self!!! Not have someone rudely take my item and take control over my checkout experience. I didn't say anything to this old brown man, but rest assured, the next time he decides to intrude in my purchase, I will not take it lightly and he won't like what I will have to say to him. This Walmart is really busy and because of that they never have any stock for things that go on sale. It kind of sucks to come here and end up not getting what you want. Asbolutely horrifying management. Do not go there, even the management makes up their' own rules when returning items that Walmart.ca claims on their' website to be an "easy" process. They will give you hell for it and embarass you in front of other customers and make up rules that Walmart doesn't have for returns. They treat their' customers like they are the dirt beneath your shoes. I have a message for the managers there: This is not the third world country you're from, this is Canada, we have rules and laws in place for people who live and shop here. This honestly is the worst Walmart I have ever been too. It's just too small for the very populated area it is in. Lineups constantly, no staff around to help and the store just seems dirty and disorganized. The parking lot is always an accident waiting to happen. It is impossible to find a salesperson in this Walmart and impossible to find what you want. If it's on sale, it's usually in a different area of where it should be. I couldn't find 2 of the things I wanted but at that point, I decided to get out as fast as possible and with the one item I did find, a kettle which was on sale. At the till, a very grumpy lady, charged me the full price. I said it was on sale and asked to see the flyer to show her. She had no flyers. She called 2 other grumpy women over and they both said it was full price when it's clearly on sale. Instead of trying to look in the flyer or find out for sure, one just rudely told me I must have made a mistake. I then bought the same item online when I got home. What a waste of time. Honestly, it's enough to put you in a bad mood dealing with such unhelpful rude staff. I just moved to the area so this was the closest one to me. This is the worst Wal-Mart ever! They had three cash registers open at night for 30+ customers. It took us fifteen minutes to go through express. The cashier was pretty slow and did not want to allow the coupons which were attached to the products. It's always so unorganized and dusty in there. 4 stars because it took me a hard time to find printing paper! They should keep printing paper next to the printers! 5 stars for customer service, literally!! I was treated like like a princess, while shopping for a cheap printer and paper! An Asian lady helped me and made sure the printer comes with a USB because some of the cheaper ones don't have them, boy did she ever take her sweet time and she was such a sweet lady.. then a younger guy in the entertainment section took over, since that is his section and he also made sure of the USB situation then another guy, came by, and helped put everything in a bag nice and perfect for me..
