I had bought tires from the app to get installed at this Walmart. The shipment for it said delayed for 3 weeks with no change to its status. I went to the store to ask them to check if they had received the shipment or if they knew when it would arrive. They went to the back for 2 minutes and came back saying it hasn't arrived yet and to ask the Walmart app customer service. I did as they suggested and the service rep said to talk directly to the auto service center as they would have more information on the shipment. The auto center barely wanted to answer my questions and the Walmart app customer service had no problem trying to assist me compared to the auto center employees. They told me that the shipment had arrived 4 days after my order and they weren't sure why my order still says delayed. I went back the next day to the same employee, David, tell me that my tires were not there and that my card charges were pending despite me showing him that the charge for the tires had already posted. He showed no signs of trying to help me but did his very best to make sure I knew I was wrong and he was right. I showed him the chat history of the customer service rep stating the order had arrived over 2 weeks ago along with my card being charged for him to throw it in my face that the tires were not there. I had to call customer support another time just for him to hear them say the tires had arrived. They finally went to the back of the warehouse to then say they have the tires... All of a sudden the tires magically appeared. They tried to blame the people that shipped the order by saying they didn't label the order number... I spent 50 minutes arguing with them about my tires when they could've just looked for the tires and save everyone the headache. I would've given this another chance but the same thing also happened to my dad's tire order as well. My dad had to deal with a different employee but for both our situations two employees would come at you to tell you you're wrong and they're right. read more

I had visited this Walmart coming all the way from Woodland Hills over an hour and a half drive to use their money services for a cashiers check for a motorcycle that I was purchasing up the street. Unfortunately It was a Sunday and being that there is no bank open any longer on Sundays, thanks to Covid... I had to resort to Walmart :( As I walked to the counter I Began my god awful experience of dealing with the person behind the counter by the name of Mira. I had asked if I could purchase a $1700 money order, at which point she asked for my ID. After showing her my valid California ID she immediately responded we cannot take this ID since it has a crack in it. I asked if she could simply scan my ID, like they do at the liquor stand, she said simply no! I told her I have several other forms of identification, none of which she even looked at. I then proceeded to ask her if I could purchase a money order for $950 since Walmart policy does not dictate that a California or any other valid ID needs to be shown for any money orders under $1000, nevertheless she said since I had already asked for $1700 she would not give me a money order for $950 regardless of the long explanation I had given her mentioning why I needed it. I asked to speak with her manager at which point she moved along in a very sluggish fashion to go request for a manager. Upon her return she mentioned that her manager is busy and she would be with me in a minute or so 15 minutes later I asked her what the status was with the manager and she said she is busy and I could go somewhere else if I am pressed on time I wait five more minutes at which point I decided to go look for the manager since she was obviously unwilling to lift the smallest finger to try to help me resolve the issue.After speaking with the manager and about another eight minutes down the line I wasn't able to get any resolved I understand a managers position she wasn't as helpful as I would like. , but in the same token at least she was somewhat professional and not display a clear sense of wanton behavior. I hope one day they build a wall around Walmart and prevent consumers from entering such a horrible disgusting, corrupt, inhumane corporation, which not only destroys businesses in any community in which they open but also takes advantage of their employees and has a set of standards which treat consumers like mindless lemmings that are nothing more than numbers. I've read several of the one star reviews for this Wal*Mart, and I have to say: I agree with nearly every point. There are panhandlers in the parking lot with toothless speed smiles, there are troglodytic mouth breathers occupying the aisles in a manner that prohibits even the most svelte Wal*Shopper to pass by without getting mad dogged, the 2/35 of the opened registers have long lines, and the lady in front of you has a zipper pouch full of coupons for items she didn't actually purchase, requiring a manager that isn't coming any time soon. But it's Wal*Mart, Cochese... For chrissakes, they satirized this company in Wall-E as the cause and solution of a post-apocalyptic uninhabitable Earth. So rather than list how terrible this store is, I thought I'd highlight a few things I liked about my shopping experience here: 1. THE GARDEN SECTION: I love it! Since most folks don't try to buy six packs of annual blooms and tomato plants with WIC, the department is virtually deserted. I enjoy the lower prices for most of the same stuff you'd find at a more expensive nursery. 2. OZARK TRAIL 150 LUMEN HEADLAMPS: these headlamps in the fishing section are great. They come with batteries and are stupid-bright. 150 lumens is enough to blind a home invader at night (maybe that's why they're hard to find here?) and at $12, they're a steal. 3. RED TAGS: I found some automotive stuff for ... Seriously... $0.01!!! That's cheap enough to purchase for the express purpose of littering it in the parking lot. Other red tags aren't always as good ($4.00 instead of $4.25??? Go home Wal*Mart pricing, you're drunk!) but I can't help but look for them. I mean, you never know when you're going to need a Jeff Gordon light switch cover plate, right? 4. PEOPLE WATCHING: while certainly not as good as the Rancho Cucamonga store, there is plenty of Wal*Talent here. These are generally the same folks blocking the aisles obliviously, but it's all about choosing your attitude in life. Today, I saw a woman with white hair and black roots wearing low cut jeans, JC Penny granny panties, and a Maui & Sons t-shirt. Epic Throwback. 5. POLICE RESPONSES: if you liked the TV show Cops, you'll love the Upland Wal*Mart. So there you have it! Enjoy life people, cause it's too short. Eat Wal*Foods, and it will be even shorter. We went in a few days ago to get a photo printed at the photo center. We were so frustrated because we had been to two other Walmarts that day trying to print a photo, but Kerry and Alex in the photo department were so patient and kind that we were able to get in and out in under 10 minutes! They were informative and patient, and it definitely lightened our opinion on Walmart after the day we had, honestly I'd drive out to upland to go to this Walmart again just to avoid the others. Synthetic Oil EVERYWHERE! Went to get an oil change at approx 3pm with tire change, guy said it was going to take 3 hours, they had cars ahead etc. So we waited. Vehicles were done (took two) and upon getting into the vehicle I noticed the steering wheel was oily and center console was oily had a glob of oil on it from the mechanics elbow! A day later I started smelling burnt oil. Some online forums say in some cases it's normal after Subaru's Ascent's to smell like burnt oil after an oil change. So I looked underneath the car the second day I noticed oil dripping. So out of curiosity I open the hood and lo and behold there is the oil cap just sitting there and the engine covered in oil. read more

The team lead Richardo was disrespectful and dismissive. I came into this Walmart for the first time this evening and will never be returning!! First of all I waited 15 minutes to receive assistance and then to top it off the "Team Lead" Richardo was very rude to me. Richardo had the electronics that I asked for then I asked if I could purchase it at that register and he disappeared for about 15 minutes to the back fully aware that I was ready to purchase my items! Then while I was making this purchase he continued this behavior never once did he ask me if I wanted a bag for my items, I'm very disappointed with the type of people they have as "Leads". As a Lead you should be the one setting a professional example for the rest of the employees! As everyone else in the store was very helpful Richardo failed to provide a positive and welcoming experience! My husband and I went to get a new battery for our car and have it installed this morning. There was a man in the automotive department complaining about everything. He was very rude to the people who work in that department. It was crowded in the waiting area he was making all the other customers uncomfortable. He continued to berate the automotive supervisor Angel. Angel was cordial and professional to the man as he continued on with his other customers. I left that area to go shopping, ran into the man complaining incessantly to the store manager. As I walked by I shook my head, he asked me if I shook my head. I said ' yes, you're just mean'. He yelled at me 2 times," F**k you!" When I went toward the automotive department later I could see he was over there again still going on and on with his abuse of the employee. I heard the man say he was never coming back to Walmart. My thought was thank you Lord, neither the customers or the employees need the misery I'm sure he spews everywhere he goes. The folks running the the Automotive Department are Liars & Incompetent. I was advised that they would have my vehicle completed within 1 hour. I waited for over 3 hours for them to mount 2 tires. When it came time to pay I noticed that Susan had rung me out for $86.xx when my total should have been $300+. When I mentioned this to her she abruptly placed the blame on someone else & disappeared. It took another 30 minutes for them to correct my bill. While waiting to get my key from the technicians in the service bay I was nearly run over by a service tech who felt the need to race a car out of the stall at high speed. You folks failed miserable today. And by the sound of it, you had many other unhappy clients because of your lack of care, honesty, and general sour nature. read more

When I approached this Walmart, I wondered why they had very few cars in the parking lot on a Sunday afternoon. Once I went inside, I understood why: This is a store that REALLY doesn't trust their customers. So many things - even underwear, Lego toys, and belts! - were behind locked glass. I wanted to buy a belt but I wanted to see if it would at least fit around my waist; with all of this drama just to grab one, it wasn't worth it. This store does not have a grocery or snack selection like most other locations. Most of the people working at this Walmart were all old - I thought Walmarts were a place where young people could go for a first job, but not so much here. Maybe the younger folks are embarrassed by how lame this location is too. I also had an offensive incident in the store that was so silly - a friend and I - both adults were bouncing beach balls - thinking about buying one just for fun. An older associate lady with brown hair got on our case for us and told us to cut it out - even there was no danger of us hitting any merchandise or any other customers. It was really off-putting because yes, we were being childish and silly, but it was no reason to treat us like children. When you see people happy and having fun, celebrate it rather than try and shut it down! We left empty handed, and I went to a different store to get my belt. Avoid this location at all costs - maybe or hopefully this store will go out of business and close down just like a few other businesses in the adjacent shopping complex. read more

I'm a frequent customer, i was mistreated by security recently...i have a child that is severly disabled, i have to get things for her all the time, I get things for my family as well & their medications so im here all the time. In the past I have had issues w security. Today i was wrongfully accused of stealing by an undercover girl (((I don't know her name)))skinny African American girl, I was looking for clothes for my teenage daughter who is severely autistic... she is picky & I have to be cautious about the clothes I buy her while I was doing that a ruthless undercover girl was randomly walking up to me asking questions like is my bicycle outside & some other strange questions, i felt very uncomfortable... I buy my stuff and while I walk out the same girl is outside with a security guard, & she accuses me of stealing. I show them there is nothing in my purse & I ask them both for the manager, they BOTH DID NOT get the manager instead went to customer service, I ask for help they didn't help me... luckily a very sweet employee who checks the receipts got the manager for me ( she deserves a raise), so the mangers comes then the crooked security came over who by the way never apologized, their boss and manager did apologize, I did curse I defended myself. BEACUSE I pay attention to my surroundings she darn well knew I did not steal, i understand people make mistakes this wasn't a mistake...this girl was approaching me in the store while shopping staring at me & asking me questions like about a bicycle outside?? First of all I drive a brand new car & even if I didn't if i was was homeless I'm still a human being & its not your business how I get to the store or asking me personal questions. I had to go to other employee for the manager today, the undercover girl had a motive & personally attacked me, I am very triggered & tramazatized by this situation. Went to have my oil changed, they lost my key. Was in the store killing time for an hour and a half. They never called me, I only found out about it when I went to check on the status of the car. When asked why wasn't I notified the clerk went in to "pass the buck" mode and blamed everyone else. It sucks when Walmart lives up to it reputation. He tried to ask an employee for directions on where to find what he was looking for. So he asked "the white man in his 20s" as he described him, that was at the electronic area. The Walmart auto care Center states that they close at 7 PM but if you arrive at 5pm they will turn you away and say they are not accepting any more cars. My suggestion would be to arrive no later than 3 PM, good luck. Now if you arrive at 7 AM when they open (even if you are 3rd in line) and need a oil change and tires, things get tricky. It's going to take two hours for the oil change and then they will set your car aside and do the tires later when it's convenient for them. Do not assume your car will be worked on any earlier just because you got there at 6:30 before they open. Take some wet wipes or detailing supplies for the inside of your car. You see, the mechanics use their hands to change the oil and sometimes assume you will not mind oil fingerprints on your leather interior. ‍ One last last thing, if weeks later you show up early at 6:30am(they open at 7am) & get 2 front tires like I did you will get your car at 10am. Nice and quick huh, oh & with oil on your inside doors, steering wheel and hand brake AGAIN. Enjoy. Hey WALMART, DO BETTER! We asked her to help us with some prices. Then my mother ask her about how to fold up the highchair, she then accused my frail, 85 yo mother of opening up the highchair box. When she explained that she hadn't, the assoc. Then tried to accuse me. She was literally yelling at us, yelling at paying customers. Screaming at us that we are to sensitive, we asked her to call for a manager and she again yelled at us that she wasn't going to, and we have to go to the front. We did, finally the manager of the store at the time (Sunday morning about 10:15 Aug 1st) he said he would take care of it, but didn't even take our names or name of the assoc. The only reason I ever shop here is because of their ridiculously low prices on everyday items. If it weren't for that one reason, I wouldn't come back. This Wal-Mart gets super crowded and it's alwayssss difficult to find parking. Once you go inside, they always have a bunch of stuff in the front section that are on sale. I usually go just to buy some every day stuff.. like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, dog food, etc... They're usually pretty well stocked with the items I need and the prices are cheaper than other places, but the aisles get sooo crowded that it gets pretty difficult to push the cart around without running into someone. I think they just added a huge food department - something I haven't seen the last time I was here. Their electronics department is getting pretty big too. They also have a McDonald's inside the store. When you're done getting all the items you need, expect a good 15 minutes of waiting time in line at the cashiers. There are alwayssss really long lines and it takes forever to pay and go. You're better off shopping at Target. read more
