While working at my summer cottage on Klinger Lake, I accidentally stepped on my reading glasses…read moreand damaged the frame beyond repair. That was problematic, since it was the only pair of reading glasses I had with me. A friend at the lake recommended Eye Care West, so I drove in to town to see if they could help me. When I came inside, I handed what was left of my glasses to a nice lady who said she'd try to help. She disappeared into the back room for awhile and when she returned, she told me that she had found a frame that was compatible with my lenses. I asked her how much they cost, and she told me $20. It was a discontinued frame they had in their bargain bin. I couldn't believe it! I was so thankful to have my glasses fixed. In fact, I ended up using those glasses for several more years. And later on when I wanted a new pair of prescription sunglasses, I bought them here. I am very happy with them.

I had been a patient for 27 years and went in to have new lenses put in my frames. The girl who…read moretook my frames broke them when she tried to put the the new lenses in. they told me they would put my lenses in a pair of their frames to get me by and I assumed they would then order me a pair of frames like I had before since they broke mine. The frames they gave me we're not my style at all and I didn't like them so I asked how long it would be before I got new ones. I was told the only ones I would be getting from them they had just given me. I wanted a replacement similar to my own in my style and they said they couldn't order ones exactly like mine so I asked if they could get me something similar as a replacement and they said they just did give me a replacement. I was very upset because I have to wear these glasses every day and I hated them. I started to cry and told them I couldn't deal with this right now and left. I did push the door open hard when I left but never yelled at anyone or even raised my voice in any way. One of the ladies at the front desk followed me to the parking lot and yelled across the lot to me that I was not allowed to come back ever and would no longer be seen there as a patient...27 years of being a good patient who always shows up for appointments and always pays my bill and that is how I got treated when they broke my Glasses. I will never be back and neither will any of my family members.
