EVENT Date: May 18th 2023 Where: Walter White Elementary School 2904 6th St, Ceres, CA 95307 (209) 556-1710 Hello, I'm Jana Thomas and a Volunteer and paid part-time employee for NAMI Stanislaus (The National Alliance for Mental Illness; located in Modesto) It was a blast to be invited out to Walter White Elementary School for their "outreach" event last year. I apologize for the delay in posting this review and photos as I became mentally ill about a year or more ago and I'm finally rounding the corner to being recovered & it feels great to be back with Yelp contributing and NAMI Stanislaus! During this STOMP OUT STIGMA (my version of the words), event, on-campus there were many vendors all there to enlighten staff & student alike to come together and speak out that we ALL have MENTAL HEALTH just like we have a beating heart which allows us to live healthy lives and there is NO SHAME, NO STIGMA about speaking about both things. We must take care and if need be coddle our mental health so it stays healthy & intact. The evening was a success and I'm happy to have been mentally well on this day so I could meet and greet.
