In the last month i have brought a Land Rover discovery from Walton motors in cranleigh,I have had 4x4's for years and brought lots of 4x4's from used dealers and i must add that Walton Motors were the BEST i have ever used....They are family run and been Est since 1981 and you can tell, They were so help full in every way they helped me choose the 4x4 that suited me, They did everything they said they would including extras like dog guard,spot lights etc....And discounted the price a little.....Since then.... My son has been to Walton motors and received the same and is over the moon with his defender 110......My advise is if you are looking for a used 4x4 WALTON MOTORS Cranleigh surrey is the place to go...... This is just a warning to all you honest people out there, dont do what i have done. I bought a car from Walton Motors in Surrey in November and as i live in Spain i agreed that they sell my 2001 Landrover Discovery on my behalf. In December they advised they had someone interested, which i was told fell through. On January the 6th they told me they had an interested party but at a reduced price to me. I agreed this as i needed the money. They promised to pay me the next week, then they said that they had paid me on the 17th and then again they had transferred the money to my bank, still no money in my account to date. On top of all that i found out from the police they had already sold the car on 22nd December 2010 and the new owner was driving around in it. The owner was not contactable over xmas as spent 3 weeks in the USA. They will regret it, i promise !! Conclusion, Walton Motors are Lia's and cheats!! read more

Purchased a Land rover defender from Waton Motors the end of last year, Extreemley pleased with the service, the staff were really welcoming and very helpful. BEWARE OF THIS LOT OF CONMEN!!!! The 4x4 I bought was unfit for service and the warranty (WMSGroup) was a worthless piece of paper. The warrenty didn't exist at first, they back dated it when myself and my local garage started to complain and ask questions. They LIE and change there story!!! The independent inspector for WMSGroup had writen the report as the dual mass fly wheel was "Unfit for purpose" but WMSGroup recorded it as "Wear & tear" and they refuse to send me a copy of the report, only had the 4x4 for 2 months and in that time it was at the garage for 3 weeks repairing the sunroof's which walton-motors still haven't repaired correctly and broke my remote locking, they told me the keyfob battery was flat....It's NOT, I've had it tested. CROOKS, ALL OF THEM...... STAY AWAY!!!!! read more

con artists who do not care about their customers! i bought a car from them which i discovered afterwards had numerous problems they concealed, they offered to fix them, they had the car twice both times promised all was fixed but when i got the car back nothing had been done, they turned rude and aggressive when i understandably complained, they clearly do not value their customers, they got round it by saying the were willing to fix the car each time so i could not argue but they did not touch the car each time, If you are NOT looking for any level of aftercare/customer service then its fine but i would NEVER recommand this garage to anyone! they do not deserve our custom. read more
