We've been here before when we couldn't stay longer. We came to Cabo on a Cruise Ship a few years back, and happened to find this place. And, even though it had been a while since our first visit, my wife wanted to try to find this place again. I thought I remembered where it was, and, sure enough, I found it.
If you want to find it, it is directly behind Solomon's in the bay. When you are walking around, and through all the people selling cigars, trinkets, and shirts, dodging people offering excursions, tours, and fishing, just take the steps to the row of smaller shops behind the main shops, and you'll find this place right behind Solomon's.
It's a very small establishment - just a few seats at a small bar, and a couple of tables for diners, but they have good food prices, good drink prices, and treat you right.
The owner was serving us shots of Don Julio 1942 for $9 that are $14 to $20 back home. I bought one, and he comped me one, so it was only $4.50 a shot, and I thought that was worth it. The good tequila really is worth the price. It never makes you sick at all.
The owner also comped us some bananas and oranges, and made our guacamole right in front of us. The cool thing about the guacamole is that they give you a tray of add-ins so you can make it exactly to your tastes, and desire for heat.
Yeah, this place isn't fancy, but it cannot be beaten for hospitality, friendliness, and value. read more
