I've been here numerous times since I don't live too far from here. The quality of the ice cream is consistent with service being mid sometimes. Sometimes the workers are not attentive and do not address you which needs fixing. There's nowhere to sit inside or outside so it's mainly a grab and go kind of place. In terms of texture, I do like how their ice cream is pretty creamy, which contrasted with the ube waffle bowl we got. **March 2025: Weeknight Visit** I had Wanderlust Creamery one or maybe two times when they did pop ups back when I lived in LA. I was recently in the Sawtelle area and drove past the brick and mortar store and thought I'd pop by. This shop is located located in a small strip mall and parking is pretty tight. For a Tuesday night the area was really lively and busy. They have a rotating menu (as well as signature flavors), and allow patrons to sample before purchase. I got two flavors - Sakura Crunch (a strawberry & uji matcha with kit kats) and another flavor (the name escapes me) that was lychee based. Honestly, everything there was delicious and it just depends on what you're in the mood for. There isn't really a seating area, but you'll probably finish it before heading back to the car. It is a tad pricey for ice cream (1 split single scoop $7, and 1 double scoop $11 for a total of $18), but if you want to "treat yo self" this guilty pleasure will fit the bill. Enjoy! read more
