The museum details the artwork and life of Grant Wood. There's learning activities for kids throughout, an opportunity to put costumes over your clothes as a photo opportunity in front of the house, and a neat little gift shop. The guided tour takes you up in the working mill ( which you can buy wheat flour from) to a beautiful little mini village complete with train going around it! It's fun for all ages, but just don't let little ones wander off with all of the antiques all over. Can't wait to come back when they are doing demonstrations during the Tulip Time Festival.

The grave site of Chief Wapello, as well as General Street and his family, are present in the park. The park is a small historical landmark in Agency, Iowa near the town of Eldon where my grandmother lived. It is an interesting visit for those who like to read and learn. My favorite moments at the park have been the long trains roaring by loaded with coal. I spent 30 minutes there and four trains passed very, very close.
