A one star rating is too good for this company!…read more I called to have a garbage disposal removed. I spoke to Mr Barr. The new pipe's they installed, that connect to my drains came down and flooded under my sink and poured out on my kitchen floor a couple months after they were installed. I contacted Mr Barr by phone and he asked for my address. I needed help and this was his response to my call for help. He had me send him a photo of underneath my sink then wrote this back to me. "Normal wear and tear won't do that. It looks like it was physically moved. If it slowly worked its way loose you would have noticed a leak a long time ago. " I don't know about any of you. I paid good money for the job they did. I never knew I had to keep looking under my sink to look for leaks. I had odds and ends stored in boxes under my sink. Brillo pads, dish soap etc. That was his response to my call for help. At no time did he come to my house or return my phone call. I would not recommend this company to anyone or any business since he does not warranty his work and calls his clients liars when you report a shoddy job. It is so sad that he treats senior citizens this way. Like a fool I waited hours for him to come to my home and he never showed up after asking for my address. I had to get someone else to come and redo his shoddy job. Female senior citizens beware of this company

The salesman was fraudulent. We have a primary source…read moreof heating but we had been looking for a source of backup heat for when the power went out for up to a day or more. We were considering a propane fueled woodstove with a backup battery. The salesman advised that the government had disallowed this battery backup for safety reasons. He then convinced us that a Rinnai wall furnace, powered by propane, was the way to go as you could buy a plug in backup battery from Amazon or Costco for under $100 and that it would meet our needs. Coincidently this furnace was much more expensive. By the time all was installed it had cost us almost $8000. We could not find this battery backup and repeatedly asked him where we could find this. He continued to be non-specific other than saying it was on Amazon or at Costco. We found out he was continuing to tell a neighbouring man the same things but luckily this man did not get fooled. We researched some more and discovered that the battery backup that the salesman told us to buy was not for wall furnaces. We did find an unacceptably huge, very expensive Hugo brand battery, that was compatible with the Rinnai, for about $1000 in our internet search! We confronted the salesman and he did admit that the Amazon/Costco battery backups were for computers or cellphones and would give maybe 10 minutes or power for those items. The company had to pay us back our money and remove all of the equipment. However, we are out all the costs involved to get propane installed and there are holes in our wall and siding. Hopefully the propane company will be honest and give us the true amount of money back for unused propane when they remove the two tanks in mid-January. Of note, when the gas fitters were removing the furnace and piping, one of the workers told us that the Rinnai had suddenly become quite popular. In the past few years they had only installed maybe one per year. He said that recently they have installed six. Hmmmmm. What a huge waste of our time and money! Where has integrity gone?
