It's not a huge place and has seating for about 25-30 ppl. It's dimly lit and cosy, perhaps a little too cosy for my liking as when the place filled up it was a bit cramped. It also got too warm and we had to end up leaving early :-( The food here is excellent. The Cevice starter was excellent as was the spicy seafood stew I had for main. The food was packed with flavours and had a good kick to it. Rice and boiled or fried potato is served with the courses and, the Cevice also had steamed sweet potato slices that was delicious. The Pisco sour is also excellent here and, made from good Peruvian pisco. The menu is not huge but there are enough choices for all including vegetarians. The cocktail list is also pretty decent with some traditional Peruvian cocktails and beer. English is well spoken here and the staff are quite friendly but the service was a little slow. All in all a pleasant evening and if it was not that warm we would have ended up staying instead of leaving straight after dinner. I would happily come back here for the food. Peruvian food has gained global recognition in recent years and, it is well deserved. If you like food that is made from fresh ingredients and packs a punch, you will like it here.

I tried the Anticuchos and the Ceviche and both were delicious. The Pisco Sour was also very good! I think it is a tad expensive, but the quality is high enough to justify it. I will definitely visit again.

We ordered omakase special dinner, 7 course and it was €135. Normally in America, the 7 course means 7 pieces of fish. However, it is like a 7 course meal so be prepared to eat if you're doing their omakase. Service is excellent, our waiter had great recommendations for us for wine that would pair well with each of our dish. recommend if you're in Munich and staying nearby the mandarin orientational. I noted the price so you know it's pricey. Dinner for 2 ended up being over €300

Nevertheless the location inside the Mandarin Oriental in Munich disappoints - I still gave three stars because the food was good but the service was lacking. I ordered a bottle of rose - it wasn't cold at all, it was actually warm when they served it. When I mentioned it to the server he said: oh you'll have to wait for it to cool on ice? Overall, the service was really slow - we had to remind them several times for our dessert. On the good side: the food was comparable to other locations, the spinach salad was really yummy and the rolls were decent. Would I go again? Not sure... they need to up their service and then I would consider going.

Don't hesitate to walk in the restaurant on the first floor and walk up the spiral staircase to get there. It's a cool dim vibe. There's a grand piano in there that I believe anyone can play. I noticed a few different people sit down and tickle the ivories without asking anyone permission. Feel free to challenge the bartenders to make ANY drink. He scoffed at my request for a White Russian saying it was so easy. It ended up being one of the best I've ever had! Highly recommend you check this place out if you are tired from exploring Munich and want to take a load off.

Going in, you're lined with type writers on the left and a drawing station on the right complete with stamps, pencil crayons, and what I assume is charcoal. Paper as well as envelopes are provided as well. Too bad I couldn't figure out how to work the typewriters. So cute! I think I liked this bar so much because of the decor. There are super comfortable and plush, royal chairs or you can choose to take a seat by the window area, complete with cozy cushions. Tons of coffee table books on the shelves. Vinyl collection on another wall. A small piano in the middle. A random swan chair and a gigannnntic book at the front. You can seat yourself and the waiter will bring the menu to you. No ordering directly from the bar. There are lots of drinks to choose from. We tried about twelve drinks and they were all delicious, though some were made a little strong. They are reasonably priced, with most of the drinks being about €7. I would 100% recommend checking it out if you're in Munich.
