The cues are always very long with only ever two desks open and the staff there are never in a rush to get the cue down. The man who works there is very rude and unhelpful. The Great Portland Street Post Office is one of the surprisingly few Post Offices I found during my…read moretime in London, as stated in the name, it is located on Great Portland Street in West London. This branch is located in quite an old building, like a good number of Post Offices are, the only entrance is up a few steps, which is even used to transport mail in and out as the store does not have a ramp, it has a wheelchair button for access, however, this didn't appear to be working on my visit. The store inside seemed a bit messy and other than having one or two self-service machines, the queuing system wasn't handled fairly well. The staff situation was a little weird, they seemed kind yet unhelpful, perhaps this was an issue with their training which was a shame. For the main reasons of access, overall feel etc, I sadly feel this Post Office branch really lets the whole Post Office brand down as a whole, and sadly deserves a single one-star rating.
