I recently visited Warriors Shooting Range for the first time. I've been to several other ranges, so I had a reasonable expectation of what the experience should be like. From the moment we walked in, something felt off. It took several minutes before anyone acknowledged us or asked if we needed assistance. Eventually, one staff member approached us and asked how he could help. We were there to zero in some newly purchased optics on a few of our new 9mm additions. He was helpful and seemed to be the only staff member truly aware of both the store environment and incoming walk-in customers. After getting our lane set up, we noticed their target system operates on ropes. Unfortunately, this caused the target to bounce repeatedly and take a long time to settle each time we sent it downrange. It was frustrating, but we worked through it. Then, after about 20 minutes, the conveyor system stopped working entirely and left our target stuck mid-range. At that point, we decided we had enough and chose to leave. Before exiting, we explained our unsatisfactory experience to the clerk. After listening, he didn't offer any form of credit, discount, or even an acknowledgment beyond hearing us out. We weren't expecting special treatment, but the lack of follow-up or customer recovery effort reinforced the impression that customer experience is not a priority. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this range. The Doral area would benefit from a higher-caliber establishment that provides a more professional and reliable experience for regular shooters and firearm enthusiasts. read more

Terrible customer service. Bought a firearm online and was told by three different employees (including the assistant manager) three different pickup dates. Each time I went, I was told something new--and wrong. Now I have to make a third trip because no one bothered to verify the actual legal pickup date. A complete waste of my time. I brought my friend and her dad here for her birthday. We were a party of 6 and I specifically asked to be placed in two lanes. The man said we wouldn't be near each other and I said that was fine because I wanted to make sure we all got a chance to shoot. He clearly did not understand what I said and put all 6 of us in the same lane. He had the audacity to tell us that 4 can go in while the other 2 waited outside and we could switch out. Now, upon arriving to our lane there were 2 empty ones next to us, but 'there were no lanes available near us'. I was beyond annoyed. Then, they sold my friend's dad the wrong ammo for his gun and when my husband when to shoot the gun, the bullet exploded and a piece hit him on the forehead. He still has the mark. I've been to this gun range a few times and every experience is worse than the last. In all honesty, I've gone back because it's convenient, but this last time took the cake. I won't be going back. All of this to say... if you're going with 4 or more people, walk in and pretend you don't know each other. Get your lanes apart and just walk over to each other. Don't let them steal your money. read more

I was here for the first time today. I was greeted within minutes and made to feel welcome immediately. This is not typical at many Gun shops or ranges. There is an excellent selection of pistols. The range values are fair as is the ammo. When I went into the range I was the only one there. When I left there were 2 other ranges in use. This was midday on a weekday. On Mondays, all day and night women can get a lane for free and military/veterans get a discount. Also very clean. I look forward to being a regular. read more

Went on a Saturday and the place was packed, mostly with Instagrammers and foreigners. I'm always cautious of people when their main goal is to post content of them shooting instead of range safety. However, there were two employees working the range. Felt pseudo safe. The biggest disappointment was the target system because you spent a majority of your time waiting for the wires to stop swaying so you have a steady target. Annoying. **MEN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED. NO SOLO SHOOTERS** My husband wanted to shoot an automatic weapon for his birthday so I figured I'd wait outside while he had fun. Turns out men go into these places and commit suicide when they show up alone. It's happened enough times for there to be a policy in place about it. (God help them) So, I had to go inside and get signed up to keep my husband company. [I'm a good sport ;p] I'm not a thrill seeker much less a gun enthusiast but I do believe in not being afraid in times of crisis and in emergencies so I'm in! Welp, my first gun shooting experience was a assault rifle, a machine gun of all things lol! Turns out I'm a pretty good shot, go figure. *It's very VERY loud, get earplugs to wear under the ear phone things.* Excellent service. Thank you Luis for making my first time so comfortable and easy. But everyone there is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and really helpful. I was surprised to see the variety of people there. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of guns for you to test out and the process of registration was simple. The do go over a quick tutorial on how to use the guns which is nice for newcomers. Be sure to check in when they have specials like a women's day which they don't have to pay the lane fee. So can save you a few bucks on that date night. There are lots of lanes available. There is headgear and goggles for rent. It was a somewhat busy day and mid-COVID, but still, we are probably not coming back. Personnel were curt and unclear on directions. There was a line outside (because of COVID) but no-one (nor any signs) to give directions, and when it was our turn to come in I could only tell by opening the door to see if maybe it was OK for us to come in only to be rudely told to hurry up already. Was going to purchase ear and eye protection, but the guy at the register was in a damn hurry so we just paid the fee and went in for the range. No clear instruction on where the range was, and had to ask multiple times (and it's not hard to get to, just need the guy to point to the door). The politest interaction I had was when the range master came by to correct an issue he saw. I have no problem with him coming by to correct the issue (safety is important), but I was disappointed that nothing was said until we were packing up to leave, nor is there an attempt to brief people ahead of time. There is a question on the online form (that I don't know if anyone read) that asked "is this your first time shooting", but no-one asked if this was our first time at this particular range. Every range I have been to tends to have their own specific rules beyond the basic four rules of gun safety, but you need to brief people on the rules if you want people to follow them. read more

Enjoyed my time here. The staff was really friendly. It was my first time shooting. They instructed me on proper technique and it was not uncomfortable. Every time I messed up, there was always someone watching to correct me. They also have ladies shoot for free on Mondays! I will most definitely be returning. I had a great time coming here. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The military discount was great and they let me shoot for one hour with three targets for $12. If you want to rent a pistol it's $20 for any of the glocks. I brought all my own gear and ammo and I had a stupendous time shooting a new S&W M&P9 I bought a week ago. I definitely recommend. I took their concealed weapons class. Carlos made sure we were all informed with where we can take our firearm, when we should use it and what to expect after a dangerous encounter. Chris also made sure we understood where we can posses a firearm and when we can defend ourselves. She then showed us how to safely handle a firearm and made sure we were were able to properly shoot the firearm. Great place to take a class and if you go on Saturday they have an officer there to do your fingerprinting to get your process moving faster. read more

My boyfriend and I went shootIng for the first time along with his 2 brothers and brothers wife. So a group of 5, if I'm not mistaken it was ladies night; it was a steal. We had a great time and the employees made everything go smoothly. At one point I went to the vending machines to get water but the machine absolutely refused my buck. I asked one of the employees for change... he then asked how many people were in my party and provided us each with bottled water. If that ain't service I don't know what is. While we were shooting another employee went in for a te raining. He knew exactly what he was doing. Clear cut instructions and pure confidence. Must check this place out! read more

I wanted to go shooting for fun one night and my wife who was with me is pretty much scared of guns. She decided to enter with me anyway out of curiosity. Charly, the owner, greeted us very warmly and we talked about my past shooting experience. I explained to him that I was hoping to shoot by myself, because my wife wasn't into it. He said why not give it a try and he gave us two rental guns to play with. He showed my wife how to hold the .22 he had loaned her and she took a few shots. I was very proud of her as she did great! Now she likes shooting so we can go do it together! The whole facility is great and the so are the staff members. We highly recommend this range. read more

This is hands down the best gun range around. The staff is literally always so friendly and helpful. They are always happy to help, and kind. Love the staff here. As far as firearm/shooting education goes here, Steve and Kris are the best firearms instructors I have ever met. I recommend anybody to them. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to his field, and making sure his students are well taught and comfortable, and dedicating time to customers. Always extremely willing to help you with any questions and inquiries. Takes his time with teaching customers about firearms and different model firearms that would best suit your interests, comfort level and experience. Unbelievable salesman and firearms expert. So professional and trustworthy. There is also a female instructor named Kris and she is absolutely amazing, I really love that Warriors has a female instructor to help females (and men of course) feel comfortable and learn to shoot in ways that sometimes men cant teach us, especially if you'd personally prefer to have a female instructor if you are a female yourself. Sometimes what works for men doesnt work for women, and her tips are AMAZING! She is so friendly and kind and really dedicates her time and attention to you. I felt so comfortable and in the best hands possible. Both instructors truly make it a wonderful experience here. Kris really makes you feel comfortable with a firearm and provides top knotch knowledge and guidance, especially if you are new to firearms. Alot of instructors nowadays rush the experience and are impatient and not understanding of your journey if your pace is slower than others. But Kris and Steve are the opposite of that. They truly deserve 5 stars in their industry, i wouldnt go to anybody else. Overall here at Warriors they are so kind, and they have a genuine dedication to their students that I havent seen in other instructors I have met. They really care about teaching with their hearts and are passionate in the firearm industry. I dont go to any other range because theyre genuinely the best here. Like seriously i have never felt so comfortable and taken care of at a range before, and that matters alot to me. Also the range of firearm models and supply is absolutely wonderful here.
