And the work done likely saved our house by shoring up and anchoring the foundation walls, which were caving in. I only have two negatives about the company. First, it seemed they didn't have enough workers on the crew. Their second day, they arrived first thing in the morning and worked well into the evening. We were concerned for their well-being. Because of this, the job took a day longer than scheduled, which wasn't a big deal for us. Second, I really dislike the policy of giving a 10% discount only if we decide to do the job immediately when the sales guy was at our home. This pressure technique really turned us off, especially when we were making such an expensive decision. If they'd give 24 hours for us to decide to get the 10% off, that'd be much better. Other than that, I'd recommend Thrasher for excellent foundation work.

In 2020 the City of Wichita put red X on city sidewalk segments in our neighborhood. This denoted…read moreslabs that needed repair because they violated the federal mandate of no more than 2% rise. That's about 1" in 48" sidewalk slabs. Thrasher agreed to demonstrate their leveling technology to the city. They city watched them level 7 of my sidewalk segments. I checked later and they were not approved by the city to level city sidewalks for them. In my case, one of my leveled slabs fell back down and the city ended up replacing it in 2021.

I explained that I was out of state but, my 86 yr old mother lived in Wichita and a portion of her roof was damaged which cause the meter attached to the house to pull away from the structure. I sent him a picture to show the damages. The electric company was going to have to turn off her power if we didn't get it repaired as it posed a danger because the power lines were also affected; not to mention that a storm was due to hit that night which would have caused additional water damage to the inside of her home. Despite the fact that it was close to end of his day and my call was last minute Graham inconvenienced himself, by picking up his child from school taking her home, getting members of his crew together and went to my moms house that evening to repair her roof. It wasn't lost on us that he could have easily chosen to schedule us for later that week. Not only did he repair the roof, HE REFUSED TO ACCEPT PAYMENT for services rendered. I have never experienced such a display of empathy as it pertains to a business transaction or that degree of kindness from a stranger. In my opinion, I liken his service to calling a plumber on a Sunday night for a busted pipe. Payment was certainly earned and deserved.
