We just bought a home here, and while the home is great the trash bins were freaking toxic cesspools from the depths of trash hell. Our real estate agent (hi Kendra!) was like "No problem, I'll hook you up with Wash-a-bin!" They came out and cleaned the heck out of those cans. I'm pretty sure you could eat of them and / or perform outpatient surgery inside one. Well, maybe not that clean. But pretty freaking clean. Unique business in that they come by once a month and basically steam your trash and recycle bins that you've left out that day for pick up. They have different plans, frequencies of cleaning and rates. When they're done, the bins are remarkably clean, sanitized and they smell lemony fresh. I've tried cleaning our own with a high pressure nozzle, soap and scrub brush, but it's not the same and it took me the better part of an hour and the smell was unbearable. I called and setup service. They came out and I even paid an extra $15 to come out that day even though they were in my neighborhood. They came out and cracked my bin on their visit yesterday. Even though they did a good job cleaning it, they still cracked my bin. Of course when I call the number and let them know about, they said it was their first time ever hearing about it. That it has never happened before. I proceded to tell David that I was unhappy about that and I dont need another headache. I paid for a service and they created another one. I asked him to cancel my service and he said that it would be a $20 charge even though it has been less than 24 hours and also that I had a problem with their service. Even though they were nice, he said no exceptions that I got to be charged the $20. BUYER BEWARE: Your bins might be washed and cleaned but their machine will crack your bins. I would never recommend Wash A Bin Service. I notified them upon moving from the residence where the service was scheduled.to perform no additional services and that they would not be paid if they continued services. I have left their office a minimum of four voice mail messages, multiple text messages and put them on notice if they continued charging my account everything will be disputed. We have been using Wash A Bin for several months. Their service use to be great. We signed up for quarterly services. Unfortunately, we have not heard from them in quite some time. I have called multiple times, no one ever answers the phone or responds to your message or emails. It's been really frustrating. Such a great service...my bins were beyond disgusting and the thought of cleaning them myself was pretty off putting. They come on the same day as your garbage pickup so there's no hassle to you in having to remember to put them out. They power wash, deodorize and just all around clean the bins. Can't say how excited I was to see my trash cans get cleaned! They literally smell and look brand new. They stunk so bad from dog poop and food...and they were absolutely disguising inside. WOW ! My cans had paint overspray all over them from a renovation. Not to mention years of nasty crap on the inside bottom. Okay, I'll admit my husband thought it was a waste of money to pay someone to clean our two bins, but he also didn't rush out to pressure wash them himself. Wow this service is amazing. You don't have to be home, and they clean your bins on trash day. I did the one time cleaning. Do you really want to wash your disgusting , smelly trash cans? Oh heck no! You have got to call these guys. Seriously, every week I dreaded taking my trash out to the curb because of the stank! These guys were awesome. I left a message on their machine and it took a few days for them to call back and leave me a message, but once they did their customer service was awesome.
