Treat yourself to clean trashcans! You don't realize how gross they are until they aren't gross anymore! The process was super easy, they did exactly what they said when they said they would. How to do: fill out the form, tell them the day of the week of your trash pickup. Within a day or so they send an email with a date of service for the day of the week after your regular trash pickup. You leave the empty bins out, they show up completely independently (you don't even have to be home), clean your bins and put them back where they were. read more

First time trying them and definitely won't be the last! Last weekend, our fridge stopped working and had to toss a lot of food including meat. It stayed inside our trash bin for 4 days before being picked up by the trash collector. The smell of our black bin was really bad that it was making us want to throw up. I knew I had to hire someone to clean it. So I paid for the one time trashbin cleaning service. Unfortunately, they require at least 2 bins to clean which is totally understandable and makes sense. The guy came in and cleaned both our black and blue bins. He did a good job and made sure that I (the customer) is satisfied with it. I am now thinking about signing up for semi-annual plan. At the least, I plan to have this done every year. Oh and kudos to Nicolette who I have been emailing with. She sent a confirmation email this morning for the schedule of next week but after I reached out to her, she was able to add me in today's schedule. Now that is going above and beyond!! I caught 6 rats over the week, although bagged, the trash smelled horrible and there was gross stuff at the bottom! After the trash was picked up, my bin was still nasty smelling. Vinegar didn't help. I remembered seeing this company's truck driving around the Palisades so I signed up last night and this morning I already have shiny clean bins! No matter how careful I am... my trash cans inevitably become smelly and gross. Excuse the pun, but it seriously bugs me when my trash bins smell and attract flies or lines of ants. I have cleaned my own trash bins in the past... well, once. LOL!!! It's actually harder than it looks! It's hard to scrub the bottom I'm not about to crawl all the way in there so I just let them get gross. I finally got fed up last summer when they were smelling bad, and I saw actual maggots wiggling around in the bottom. Anyway, I was intrigued when I saw a TV commercial for Wash Bins... then when I saw one of their trucks in my neighborhood, I found them online and it was reasonably priced... so I signed up. Wash Bins comes the day after your trash pick-up which makes sense because they obviously need your bins to be empty in order to clean them. So I just leave them out at the curb the extra night so I don't have to remember to put them out for Wash Bins, although they do send reminders. I signed up for the Wash Bins quarterly service, and the first couple of times they came I wasn't home. But sure enough when I did get home the bins were super clean, both inside and out, and they even had a nice subtle fragrance to them. I really felt like they met my expectations... perhaps exceeded them with the fragrance. Recently I happened to be home when they came, so I stood out there like a nerd and watched them do their thing. The Wash Bins trucks are pretty cool. The truck has arms in the rear that lift the bins (2 at a time), upside down into the back of the truck. The truck then blasts super hot water into the bins. You can actually see the steam from the heat. Then after that, the guy uses a power washer to clean the outside of the bins. And finally he wipes them down with a rag inside and out... and sprayed a little fragrance. Seeing the process and what goes into it made me even more satisfied with the Wash Bins service. I never thought about the dirty water and was pleased to see that the truck reclaims the dirty water for proper disposal. And I think doing it quarterly, makes it a great value. Usually by the time they come the bins need a cleaning, but it never goes long enough to get really gross. I will also say that we have never had any ants or maggots since we signed up for the service. And most importantly the bins don't smell which is key since I store my bins in the garage. My husband saw their trucks in the area and I immediately called them for a 1 time service to test it out. After the strong push to add food scraps to the green bin and the addition of kittens to our household (grey bin daily litter waste) our bins really needed cleaning. Wow, what a difference. It took all of about 5 minutes for them to fully clean and dry our bins. They actually smell good! Definitely recommend them to anyone. I will be signing up for their more regular service. We had the service for 9 months. The first two times were fine but overpriced for the time they take. I cancelled right before the last cleaning and the driver didn't clean two of the cans. One because of a random single market bag of trash thrown in the can by someone as they sit in the street for a day . The second one has green waste stuck to the bottom witch it the whole reason we pay for cleaning them. They charged me for three and only did one. Very unsatisfied customer. read more

I highly, HIGHLY recommend this Mobile Trash Bin Cleaning Service. I emailed them and they responded the same day and came to clean my trash cans the next day. The process is very simple and they will come the day after your trash day so that you don't have to worry about them cleaning your can if you've already put a bunch of trash in your cans. Our cans had some grim stuck to the bottom that continued to attract flies. I tried to clean them out myself with chlorox and water as the internet told me to do, but it didn't work. The cans just started smelling worse over time, even after trash day when there was no trash in the cans. When someone told me this was a thing, I couldn't believe it. I thought, what a great idea! Just placed an order for quarterly bin cleaning for 2 bins. Process was very easy and I did it online but customer service was easily available over the phone . The trash bin has been smelling bad due to the heat. I thought of cleaning it myself but thought twice as I would have to buy a special hose. Then there's a high chance of getting poopy water splashed at me and there's no drain on my street. The poopy water would stay around until it evaporated which could smell bad and get dogs sick. I have been a monthly customer for nearly two years. I was paying $60/month for four bins (I have been told the rates have gone up significantly, but they kept my rate the same which I greatly appreciate). I have often considered canceling the service because it is a luxury rather than necessity, but I loved having clean bins and hatted cleaning them myself. This past weekend I set out four of my six bins (I very rarely use all six) and Bin Wash only washed three of them. I called to ask why and was told that I was set up for one green, one blue and two black, so they could not clean a second green bin. I never designated my bin colors when I signed up for the service and I did let them know I had six bins which I rarely use. It was explained to me that they have a policy that does not allow bin rotation because they do not want people to sign up for one bin and rotate different bins each month. Understandable, but I signed up for four bins so why would they apply that policy to me. Just because a company creates a policy does not mean they cannot make an exception. They were paid to wash four bins and only washed three how is that fair to the customer???? I had no choice but to cancel the service feeling that my business was not appreciated or valued. It is a lose lose situation, but policies will never change unless we make sacrifices. read more
