I saw a review about someone getting MRSA from their filthy tanning beds and it made me want to write this review because I also got MRSA from them in like 2009 and had to be hospitalized and have surgery. I stopped tanning there after that and it's crazy that after all these years they still don't know how to properly sanitize their beds. read more

This place is filthy. They don't clean their tanning beds properly. They're rude and I got MRSA a staff infection from their unclean tanning beds and ended up in the hospital and I wanted to cancel my membership and they wouldn't allow me to because it was after the 20th of the month. They required me to pay the following month of over $100.00. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't go here unless you want to end up in the hospital. read more

The people that run it were fantastic. It was clean and I would certainly go back. I also thought the price was reasonable.

I was burnt by one of the bulbs that was hot on the outside of the bed shield the only time the bed actually got hot.Literally every other time I would come in at end of the night hoping to get s bed thst had been warmed up threw out the day however 10 out of the 11 times i tanned the bed appeared not to have been turned on all day.I guess thats what a groupon deal gets you...rooms were clean laundromat was clean staff were friendly read more

Going to the laundromat is not one of my favorite things to do, but if I *have-* to go, it's been nice to go to Wash n' Tan. The keep the place very clean and there's always an attendant on duty. There are washers of various sizes at different price points. There are a couple of change making machine and other vending machines for snacks. I don't remember seeing a vending machine for laundry supplies, but it's possible I overlooked it. I will happily go back until my washer and dryer are finally delivered and probably even after that to wash bulky bedroom linens. read more

Their machines only take quarters, no debit card. so for a "large" load that's 38 quarters. so if you need to get quarters via debit card they charge for that too. In my opinion that shows they obviously care more about profit rather than customer convenience otherwise they would upgrade their machines to accept credit or debit card. No wonder the coin machine was out of quarters. Aside from that, I took the woman working there to be very offensive and rude. I was told to use the ATM down the street since I thought 1$ fee was too expensive. Side note, I was looking forward to a cup of coffee while I waited, as the website described. However that's located behind the counter and I didn't feel very welcome at that point to even ask. .Maybe I was just caught off guard or spoiled with the last laundromat I used was in Portland that was very updated and actually very enjoyable. Oh and all their vending machines for water/drinks/snacks/detergent are all coins only. How convenient, force your customers to use so their quarters so they have to use their card upfront and pay the fee. Unfortunately this was not a good experience at all for me. ** clothes were on "high heat" for 20 min, clothes still not close to dry. We are sick of using our apartment complex's crappy washer & dryer, and came here. We were in and out in less than 1.5 hrs. I love how they have so many different sizes, for anywhere from 1-2 loads, to 4-6 loads of laundry. I found it to be a little expensive ($6.75 for a 2-4 load washer) but I'd pay it again for the convenience. read more

I purchased a deal through Groupon for a tanning package that was $29 for unlimited 1 month tanning #1-3. Went in to redeem voucher and was told that I had been there less than a year ago and in Groupon under "fine print" it clearly states can only be redeemed if you Have not been a customer in the past year. I was given a few options come back in 2 months, OR apply your $29 towards a reg priced package that cost 2xs MORE then what you paid. Twirling her hair and chewing her bubble gum. she was RUDE and didnt even look at me while we were talking. Well Im not coming back in 2 months to start tanning, I didnt bring my wallet.... However she wouldnt manually enter my credit card info I have memorized. Soooooo 2 tans for $29 is what I got and Im lucky Because there waa tax that she some how was able to override. Problem.... My bestie made SAME mistake bought package and went in to redeem and was able to get what she paid for. Their Reason.... She only tanned ONCE. WHAT????? NO NO NO... I CALLED AND was told they have a problem employee who has issues so a new person came in and SOME HOW, UNKNOWN to the gal I spoke with, was able to honor it. The new girl didnt know....BUT THE NEW GIRL KNOWS more than the older employee cuz she couldnt do anything but take my name and number and have her manager call me in 5 days when she comes in next!! read more

In my search for a place to wash my clothes ( which was tough, surprisingly not many around), I stumbled upon Wash-N-Tan. I was intrigued by the fact that it also a tanning salon. While I did not work on my summer look, I did clean my clothes. I was treated at the door by a friendly employee who gave me a great tour of the place and explained all the units, how they worked and the pricing. I was very pleased by the appearance, very well kept and clean. Leather furniture made for a comfortable wait. Pricing was competitive with any other store. Washing clothes is still a choir, so you might as well be comfortable right? Well, this is the place to go then. read more

Good tanning prices. 3 levels of beds. No annoying attempt at upsale by pushy staff as with most tanning businesses. Nice, down to earth service... *relaxed sigh.* I appreciate being able to pay $5 for a basic tan without being harassed to upgrade by orange heavily makeuped and overly gelled staff. read more

I wanted to let you know when the coronavirus hit& you closed & then when you re opened I was supposed to have credit& never did& that was 2 months of service that I paid for& I called the store& she told me that manager was not in but that when she did she would have her call me& I never got a phone call back so I should be getting a couple months of service at least read more

Purchased a package when I really only came in to get a few tans and the girl talked me into the package. So I got it was told by the employee that as long as I called before the 19th of the month I would not be charged NORHING! She did not tell me that I would be charged a 20$ fee for canceling before 6months. I called today to speak with the Owner and all she was saying is that it's on the contact that you sing ( they do not give you a copy unless you ask so ask) and very rude. I will finish out this month that I have already paid for but they will never get my business again. And the bed right in the front when you walk in, don't use the mister it will pour water all over your belly and leaves a water mark! But it does get you dark! Would be a good place if the owner learners some customer service and as a business gives people a copy of they contract since we are paying customers! read more

I went in today to wash some bedding and decided to use their Groupon special to tan. I am thoroughly impressed with the facility and staff. The owner was so friendly, helpful, and informative. She truly is an expert when it comes to customer service. Also, I was wearing a Biggie Smalls sweatshirt and his music just so happened to be playing on their radio.. crazy coincidence, or exceptional attention to detail...? I just moved to the area from Chicago about a month ago, and needed a place to do laundry. After reading reviews and comparing this place to others, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The general idea of tanning while waiting for my laundry was awesome. Desirae (sp?) was outstanding from the moment I walked in! She asked if I had any questions, gave me a tour of the laundromat side, and after I had my laundry started, gave me a tour of the tanning. I had purchased a Groupon before actually coming, and ended up buying a small upgrade after talking to her. Tanning prices aren't bad at all especially if you buy the Groupon! I'm not super familiar with laundromat prices per wash/dry so I can't really say anything bad about that. It does seem a bit overpriced, but I'm not sure. Washers range from $2.50-$6.75 and dryers are about 40 minutes for $1.50 which everything of mine was dry by then! read more

Don't come here often and have never had any complaints....until today. I chose to order some Thai food from another store in the same lot. The restaurant delivered my food to the tan n wash. When I asked it's whereabouts, I was told that they didn't know who it belonged to, so they gave it away. There were literally a handful of people, at max 5. Normally I would not care about something so petty, but instead of apologizing for the mix up or showing any ounce of customer service, the young woman at the desk giggled, along with her friends. I haven't tanned in over a decade but decided to give it a try after seeing an amazing Groupon deal on their top of the line Cayenne bed. I LOVED IT! I had gotten the newest lotion out (which was amazing) at a great deal along with a couple of the moisturizing hemp lotions, again, at an amazing price. So, Why the 3 stars? I really only give it 3 stars because I went to go tan the other day and was told I did not have a package there. Now I know the young lady checking me in has checked me in tons of times at this point. She then says my package expired. Now, most people are VERY busy and I know myself personally, I can't always keep up on when I began something like this (literally felt like maybe 2 weeks to me lol). I guess my own fault is I assumed they would let me know when I was getting close to my package expiring, especially since I found out later in our conversation that I actually tanned on the day it expired. Anyways, I go in and am disappointed by this, but am prepared to renew my package. The young lady said I can't renew it, it's too late now (2 days after it expired). I said HMMM OK SO CAN I JUST PURCHASE ANOTHER GROUPON AND THEN I CAN DO MY ADDITIONAL MONTHS AFTER THAT? I was told no it's for new members only. One thing that really bothers me is when you are trying to give a business your very hard earned money, but they don't give you any options. Just tell you NO CANT DO THAT, NOPE CANT DO THAT EITHER. I asked if I could just do a single tan then (I'm a 50+ hr a week working single mom and had a really really hard day - this had become my 12mins of relaxation and peace!). She said I could but it was super expensive - again, I have to ask questions to get any options. I ask how much and it's nearly $20 for one tan. At this point I was rubbed the wrong way and decided to move on. I understand that what they do is if you have a Groupon, you have the option to extend your plan with them at the same or similar price. However nobody tells you when you are getting close and even if it's 2 days late, sorry, you are out of luck. Yes, I hold partial responsibility as I should have remembered or paid attention - The regular price is over $80 a month for this specific bed that I had grown attached to and wayyyy outside of my price range. I'm sad to say, I'm now hunting for a new tanning salon in Vancouver. I really enjoyed this place as it's clean, normally the staff is great/personable - I do think they could really increase their business and repeat monthly customers if they had a system to let their Groupon customers know when they are getting close to expiring so they can extend at that time. Or maybe they do this purposefully so that their customers will have to pay full price - I would hope that's not the case (it doesn't seem like that type of establishment) ..... Wash n tan is an awesome business with a great and super friendly staff. Especially the manager Trish...she tries to make sure every customer is happy and satisfied in ALL areas of this business. All the staff works hard but Trish truly has a heart when it comes to making customers happy and satisfied. I've been tanning there for a while and I'm always greeted with a smile and called by my first name. Trish has gone out of her way to make sure things went well for me even when it comes to taking the money out of my account every month. She has helped accommodate me in many ways. This is a very busy business and I got an incredible deal through groupon when I first started tanning and I have been nothing but happy since then with the deal I got and with the customer service. Came here because dryer broke. Was dreading the forbidden *laundromat*. What a GREAT CLEAN Place. Where was this place when I was in my 20s visiting laundromats weekly!!!!! There is an attendant who greets you as you walk in n asks if uve been here. If not she guides u to the washer u will need! She was constantly whipping and cleaning things. Sometimes I come here to wash clothes that aren't even dirty. My favorite washing machine is the Big Kyle. If it's ever being used by someone else, I go for the Bernie. Bought a Groupon for unlimited high level tanning, the Groupon was honored in full- no issues. The girl working Desiree, (sorry if I butchered the spelling) was incredibly nice and patient, she went over pretty much all her lotions with me and I didn't buy one. Not pushy at all, I was just curious about the lotions. The bed I used was clean and worked well, my friend said she noticed I got darker already. The establishment itself is also clean, they have vending machines full of stuff and do a nice job in splitting the laundromat side from the tan side. I can only review the tanning side but from the looks of it, it looked busy and people looked happy. Will be returning for sure. read more
