Washburn Records has recently updated our services and studios! We now offer our clients closer to Toronto the option of recording at “Studio A” (a full live room and vocal booth ran on an API console and protools) or if you’re closer to Durham and Kawartha Lakes at “Studio B” (our Mastering and private tracking studio which offers Hendyamps, Api, Neve, Chandler, ISA, Black Lion Audio, SSL and SPL console workflows) Both studio are equipped with professional analog hardware for mixing and both are equipped with Neumann microphone collections including the U47,U87 & U87 For the rates we charge you won’t find a better studio to record with period.

History

Established in 2019.

Washburn Records has been running since late 2019. Our Studio started as only “Studio B” but has now grown into two studios “Studio A in Etobicoke” and “Studio B in Kawartha Lakes”. Owner and Master Engineer Ron Stokes was originally trained by Juno Award winning mixing engineer and mentor Sheldon Moore and continues network with Platinum and Gold rated Grammy winning Mixing and Mastering engineers on a day to day around the World to perfect his craft. Breaking the top ten in the UK with the band The Jamestown Saints was achieved within a short window of opening the studio and is continuing to gain popularity within the engineer world today.
