I was told the limo ride comes with ice and bottled water and that the driver would arrive 10 minutes prior to our designated pickup time. The driver was fantastic, arrived early, was very nice and got us to our destination on time. He did the same for the ride home. The hummer h2 itself was not equipped with any glasses, ice or water. The carpet was dirty. They advertised that it seats close to 18 but our group of 12 were squashed. It would have been nice to be given instructions on how to use the tv or music but nothing was written inside. Looking at my receipt I was charged for an 18 passenger but got a 14 passenger. When I got out I asked about the water and the driver said it was inside in the cooler. When we finished up, we went back into the limo and there was nothing. Be sure to check what your getting. Update: I have 12 witnesses who will agree that there was no water in that limo. I'm not sure why this company would flat out lie.

It seems like Ourbus is trying to move its game into the bus industry here on the east coast, so…read morethey don't seem to have quite the same amenities a Megabus or greyhound would have (outlets, WiFi on "all" buses, an upper deck, not nearly as much leg room, etc.), but if you twist it around it's in a way that's a good thing because fewer people seem to know about it, so the bus might be a little less full. It seems like the Ourbus process of boarding is a little better though. It's super fast to board because they just need to know your name and they'll look up your ticket so you don't have to think about boarding numbers, waiting people to pull up tickets, etc. My biggest gripe with it though is that the leg room is ridiculous and barely existent. I'm really not a tall guy, but if you were to sit in front of me and let the seat down, I would virtually have to straddle your seat and manspread the entire trip back to Philly (or put my feet in the aisle which is illegal). Please don't do this, east coasters. It's not worth it!!

I have also used their hourly service for various things around town and have never been disappointed. There have been many times I contacted them for last minute service and have never been disappointed. They maintain your credit card on file if you wish and you can e-mail or visit their website and reserve service. At one point when i traveled often, I would always request they send me the drivers name and cell so I could call if anything in my plans changed like flight delays (which rarely happen :-) ). Their cars are standard i guess, but I have used their executive car, Navigator (needed space for a 6 party lunch meeting), S Series and their Lexus 600 HL. The 600HL was great. I used that car once for dinner because I made a very last minute request to accomodate a dinner meeting. I never use stretch cars, but I can only assume from my experience with their executive cars, they are equally as nice. The representatives that take my calls are great and are always very accomodating. Maybe once they could not reserve a car for me, but I honestly cannot remember. If you need a local car service, wait; they actually made a referral once when I was outside of the area. I called and told them which city I was visiting to see if they could recommend someone and they made the recommendation and WOW!!! it was a great recommendation. Now back to what I was saying... They are the best service I have experienced in DC and I use them everytime I travel or just do not want to drive to an event. And I find their fees are similar to other services in the area. My recommendation, call them before your next lunch or dinner date and schedule a car and enjoy a nice ride around the city and you too will have found a great service. So we rented a nice car for several hours and the service was excellent. The car arrived well before we needed to leave, as instructed. The driver was extremely professional and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The drive to DC was extremely smooth, and during our photoshoot in the Capitol Hill area, the driver did a great job of staying near us and was always ready to drive to a different location at a moment's notice. At the end of our photoshoot, the driver took us home safe and also took our photographer home without a hitch. The price was very reasonable as well. Before the day of the photoshoot, they were very responsive to email inquiries, always providing a response within minutes. I would highly recommend using this company for anyone who needs a private car for several hours.

We were supposed to be picked up from our retreat at 2pm and when I called them at 1:45pm to make sure they were on their way, the customer service representative outright lied to me said the driver was running late but would only be about 30-45 minutes late. At that point we asked to have the driver's phone number so we could communicate directly with them. I was given the wrong driver and phone number TWICE. On the third time, they finally gave me the actual drivers name and number and I spoke to her directly. She confirmed that she had not even left DC yet and was at least 2 hours away. This was on a Friday afternoon when DC/VA traffic is at its worst and staff had other obligations to attend to such as children to pick up and weekend plans to begin. Long story short, our original pickup was scheduled and paid for 2pm and the driver did not arrive until 5pm and we did not make it back to DC until 7pm. The driver told us that she was never going to logically make it to us by 2pm because her previous drop off was coming from Hagerstown, MD to DC and already started 1 hour behind schedule. Needless to say, we are fighting to be refunded some of our money for their POOR performance and would NEVER recommend or use their services again. One of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with in over 15 years in the customer service industry. BUYER BEWARE!!
