Talk about a joke of a place to work. Went in for an interview of course like most places they talk the company all up about how good it is. The owner started telling me they needed another employee because the current one they had was missing a lot of work because of health issue. He just kept going on and on about this employee. He asked me to come in the next day to see if this would be something I would like to do or that I felt I could do. I came in the next day for a couple of hours and of course this is something I have never done before. I take in all that I can and decide I will give it a try. They tell me to come in on Monday to start. I was working through a temp agency so it was basically a trial period and I knew that going in. I show up on Monday and the girl who had all of the health problems was there and she was blind sided by me being there. She had no clue of them hiring a new employe. Her first thought was just like anyone else's, she was losing her job. Moving on. I worked there a little over a week and the owner brings me into his office and asks me how I feel about working there and the company. I explain to him I felt as though I was still learning and was still slow at things but was doing ok. He then all of a sudden looked at me and said he didn't think things were going to work out. I asked why, what I had done, and if he could explain things to me. He said again it's just not gonna work. So I went to my car and called the temp agency and let them know what had just happened. The next day the temp agency explained to me the owner told them I had been told to keep my phone in my bag or my car and I did not and I was using it too much. Those words were NEVER said to me, nor was I ever talked to about this issue. So now this man who only cares about the money he makes and not about the bare minimum he pays his employees has screwed me out of my unemployment for telling a bold face lie! I hope ANYONE who reads this understands that those who line their pockets with gold doesn't care about those who have to work their ass off just buy a gallon of milk! read more
