The service was always terrible. They close 30 minutes to an hour early every night and they will refuse to serve you even if it's during opening hours. We went to Port Townsend for an outing and wanted to do some shopping and grab lunch. Turns out that there aren't many open shops and such on Tuesdays. While shopping next door at the tea and spice shop we could only smells the glorious pizza aromas filtering in. We were able to grab a slice each and sit at the lovely picnic tables nearby. A slice runs between $4 and $6. They were quite tasty and we felt satisfied. All Covid measures were in place and they serve one person at a time, cash only. The wait isn't long, so don't let a small line deter you from the deliciousness that awaits. While some of the pizza may have been a bit dry as it had been in the case and not a fresh, it was still delicious, but why I gave 4 of 5 stars. This place was fantastic! Came here after our sons football game. We ordered a 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni pizza, was told 20-25 mins wait. I don't know what has happened to Waterfront Pizza but sometime ago, the ownership changed and they must've made some type of change to their flavoring and their sauce. I used to really enjoy it and ate their pizza for over 20 years but I've recently started going to a Hillbottom. whatever waterfront did to change their recipe really made a difference for me. I'm sorry to give a negative review in this case, and I say I'm sorry because the guys at the pizza shop seemed like decent sort of fellas,(not that they're gonna sweat it), But the pizza we got, I just gotta say, it was flat nasty! First and foremost it was $37! For a 16 inch pizza?! We had one half Canadian bacon the other side was supposed to have been mushrooms which they did not put the mushrooms on, but they did charge us for the mushrooms, pineapple and sausage, that's it, $37 for that. The ingredients were haphazardly thrown on the pizza, they were falling off as we were trying to eat it. At least we didn't have mushrooms to get in the way. It was not done, I literally had to take my pieces and put them in the air fryer to crisp them up, true story! In fact it was so soggy that in trying to pull the pizza up off the plastic paper it stuck to it. Mind you I was standing there when they put the pizza in the box cut it up and handed it to me, after tipping them $5. I went directly from Waterfront Pizza to K Street, literally 5 minutes or less and in that short time it became soggy, which tells me it came out of the oven soggy. So good for them. They've got a little niche, (in Port Townsend that's all it takes), obviously they stay busy and they do good. They're only close competition is Pizza Factory, however the service there is so inconsistent we just stopped trying, which is how we wound up trying Waterfront Pizza. So it's Papa Murphy's for us from now on, and notwithstanding the fact that the pizza was $37, which is an amazing amount of money for a 16-in pizza which is not very large. Had the pizza come hot and fresh and delicious, with all the ingredients we paid for, I would have said nothing, I probably wouldn't go there again for pizza for that cost but I wouldn't have written a negative review. My wife told me that she could have gone to Papa Murphy's and gotten two delicious pizzas for the money we spent on that one, two very large pizzas. They do a great job over there, they have a great product and they are also very nice people. It's just not instant gratification which is what Americans crave. So that's what we'll do next time. Excited for our first stay in beautiful Port Townsend (adorable town, well worth the visit), we decided to give Waterfront Pizza a shot. My wife Loves pizza, and this place has great reviews, so why not? We headed upstairs to the dining area and had a seat. There is a to-go area downstairs and there is a small seating area with a few tables upstairs (cozy). Our server came by with the menu and we chose to build our own as none of the "specialty pizzas" were calling our name. After about 20 minutes our pizza came out. While it did seem on the smaller size for a medium, it was a decent amount for the two of us. We ordered pepperoni and pepperoni with black olives on the other half (actually I ordered pepperoni with sausage on my half, but I don't think our server heard us say that because it definitely didn't have sausage on it). The pizza, in my opinion, was disappointing. I have to say that it seemed like the pizza crust resembled frozen pizza, and the pizza was just not all that tasty on its own without garlic salt, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper (all three of which I rarely, if ever, add to pizza). My wife was more generous on her evaluation and she said it was tasty enough. Verdict: I wasn't impressed, but you might be. Yesterday after a long drive around the peninsula our families had decided to get a few pizzas to go. Earlier in the afternoon I had entered - the door was closed and a few folks inside waiting. Upon return, I entered with two others, to wait. (The outside door has been closed earlier and while we visited other places I noticed it was closed.) We spoke quickly in Spanish between the three of us. A man who worked here came out, snapped his fingers at me and pointed to the door saying, "get out please. Wait outside while someone else comes in and picks up their pizza." I was in shock but said "ok" and left. I assumed the customers were picking up two large whole pizzas I had seen waiting. The two women waiting to go in apologized to me for the rudeness of the worker, went inside and grabbed A SLICE of pizza. She came out and the three of us were made to wait outside, the inside completely empty and the door was propped open in the middle of the wind and the worker motioned us in. We quickly exchanged glances and I went inside and asked how long for a pizza but changed my mind. We were the only brown, Spanish speaking visitors. I couldn't bring myself to order a pizza where one of the ingredients is racism and rudeness.
