We went for lunch and had the soup and salad bar. There was a great variety from large pieces of homemade bread to chocolate pudding that tasted liked it was from a can. It appeared that the soup offering changed each day, during our visit it was a very thick clam chowder. A variety of salad dressings included one I had never heard of, bacon dressing. It was in a similar container to the soup and looked like pickled cabbage but it was actually sweet. We had a great table that over looked the river. read more

Atmosphere: They have a ramp and stairs for entrance into the building. Host/hostess stand is right when you walk in. You are given a buzzer that will go off when your table is ready. They have a large indoor bar area, a dining seating area around that inside bar, an outside bar area that also has dining in the summer, and then a separate dining room inside as well. The bathrooms were clean. When you are done with your meal you pay at the host/hostess stand. Service: The staff was literally RUNNING the entire night. The place was packed and these guys were busting their a***** the whole time. They had two bartenders at the bar and they kept up really well with drink refills. Food: The salad bar is fire. I can't wait just to go back for that, tons of options and it's all delicious. Our entrees were amazing, everything cooked perfectly. The only thing that was meh was the twice baked potato, it was really dry. If Yelp allowed, this would be a 4.5 stars rating. I'd been seeing and hearing good things about the restaurant for awhile. Myself and five family members were finally able to give it a try. We will definitely return. Large parking lot. A large Thursday night crowd. Very clean and well kept interior. All things signaling the potential for a good evening. A more welcoming hostess would have made for a perfect entrance. The bartender was efficient and poured good drinks. While not muddled, the old fashioned drinks were made from scratch. Thursday is trivia night, packing the bar area. A short wait and we were seated in the dining room. In addition to a nice mix of nightly specials, the restaurant has an extensive menu. A nice touch, pointed out by our excellent waitress, was the ability to upgrade the steak in the combo meals for only $2. After ordering, we went to the large salad bar. It was clean and everything was well stocked. The homemade soup and hot bacon dressing were great. Someone wanting soup and salad would do well for themselves. I had a ribeye and chicken combo. The rib eye was slightly smaller than the regular ribeye enjoyed by one of the dining partners. However, it was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. Another table mate had steak and scallops. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were generous in number. Others at the table had a stuffed tenderloin, deep fried pork chops and a hot ham and cheese. Everyone said their meal was cooked properly and enjoyed the flavor. As previously stated, we had a great waitress. She was very attentive, knew the menu and checked on us frequently. The two things keeping this from five stars were twice baked potatoes that looked better than they tasted and a hostess requiring a lesson in smiling. We have dined at Waters Supperclub twice. Each time our food was just so so. The food was not as hot as we had hoped temperature wise. For us that's a deal breaker. I ordered fish both times and it was too cold which is unacceptable. Not appetizing at all. The service was good. The atmosphere has so much potential but again, for us, just missed the mark. We love the location and the fact that it is right on the water but, I'm afraid that we will not be back . We would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Outdoor seating is picturesque on the river. The menu is reasonably priced and the wait staff is amazing, very attentive. They have great raffles and sports on however the TVs are present but not the focus so it's nice fir everyone. They have a salad bar. Yes! A salad bar with all the supper club amenities. Specials daily , happy hour and roasted chicken daily for 10.95. The perch is fresh and the soup is great! Really nice environment outdoors and indoors. A surprise of a great find on our way home to Neenah on a Tuesday night! We knew it would be good when the parking lot was buzzing. We took a booth in the bar, not even aware of the large dining room. Friendly busy waiter offered the salad bar once we ordered a seafood platter, prime rib special with stuffed shrimp, French onion soup and broasted chicken. The potato options were great: so we tried one twice baked (fluffy and light), potato puffs (a little dry mashed potato ball coated and fried) and broasted thick slices (yum). The salad bar had the typical WI assortment of salad fixings and dressing flavors, with a hot bacon option that was the star. The bacon was practically candied in the dressing. Seafood platter was a big assortment and generous, the prime rib was juicy and hot, the chicken a bit dry. All together a great surprise and too much food on a Tues night! read more

You will enjoy your meal as much as the atmosphere here. The service has always been prompt and friendly. I've been here many times and the only complaint I have is there are times of over seasoning or over salting the steak. I just ask for no salt or seasoning. I've never had my steak cooked incorrectly. The atmosphere is fun. Park in the lot or pull up behind the restaurant in your boat or snowmobile in the winter. The deck in back on the river is a relaxing place to hang out on a comfortable summer night with a bar there too. I highly recommend. read more

First of all if you like Dick and Joan's you will like the Waters. Same owners. We were seated at a table by the window overlooking the river. Definitely would stop in during the summer. Nice outdoor deck. We received excellent service when we went for dinner. Our server was attentive, efficient and friendly. They have a nice salad bar with hot bacon dressing. As always excellent. I ordered the Perch dinner and it was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the seafood dinner. All was fried and he said he thinks he would have enjoyed it more broiled. This review is just for the outside bar. Sadly we had already eaten before this place was recommended to us, so we just had drinks. They have an awesome outdoor patio with a bar and several picnic tables w umbrellas. This is right along the water so they also have a huge dock where boats can tie up. Very pretty view! Stopped in for Saturday lunch around 1pm. Average WI supper club with typical menu selections of fish, steak, burgers, and fried appetizers. Went with the bacon cheeseburger. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. Not a lot of different burger choices as they are plain, with cheese, or with a brat patty. The quality of the buffer was good and a good portion. Bun was less than average and fell apart easily, also somewhat dry. Fresh vegetables to go along with it. Not impressed by the bagged, somewhat stale chips to go along with them. Prices were fair for the food. I'm guessing they've been making the same things for a long time. Menu could use some overhaul and updating. Overall, I give this place a 3 because prices were good, decent bar and views of the river made it better. The staff was also friendly. read more

This is a nice place for a drink or on the patio during the summer. That's why it gets a star. of the 5 times I've eaten there I haven't had a good meal. I've had the fried chicken which tasted like oil. The fried haddock was fried in cornmeal and it was flavorless and soggy. I ordered a New York strip steak, which I requested medium but it came out well done on a sizzling hot plate and wasnt seasoned. The fries are frozen and it tastes like everything else is as well. I've had the pizza and you're better off buying a frozen pizza and cooking it yourself. read more

Normally I've had no issues here. Today 4 of us went, 3 were satisfied, I was disappointed. Our server was friendly and helpful. I ordered the porterhouse steak. I could tell by looking at it when it was served that it wasn't good. It was rare, which is fine, but it was flavorless, grizzled, and stringy. This was the perfect place to stop before the St Patty's Day parade! I chose the Corned Beef and Swiss wrap, which was one of the specials, and it was delicious. Two of my children had chicken tenders and they were actual pieces of chicken, which I prefer. My other two kids had the Mac 'n cheese, the Kraft variety, which was exactly what they wanted. It looks like a great place to stop during the summer with their outdoor seating right on the water. We will definitely be back and I hope I can get that wrap again!! read more

Not worth it! Just moved to the area and this was one of the first restaurants we tried. First few times were good. Foods okay, kinda pricey. We were amazed that blue gill and pike were on the menu for Friday, the bacon dressing impressed us as well as the complimentary homemade bread. Won't go here anymore though due to terrible customer service. Twice now we've been sat by an older women I think maybe part owner or something. Her method of seating people is apparently handing us a stack of menus and pointing to the booth she wants us to sit at and then forgetting about us entirely. Both times we had to get up and hunt someone down just to get us our drinks. Quite a few times now our homemade bread has come squashed and crunchy. This last time my steak and shrimp came wayyy under cooked and for $21 u get a 6oz steak and TWO stuffed shrimp and a small handful of baked fries. Instead of messing around and waiting for it to be remade while my boyfriend ate I just sent it back. Felt terrible for the younger waitress who was actually fairly pleasant and sorry. I'd be okay with mediocre service if this was just a bar and grill, which btw it sounds like with the blaring music on the upper deck, but for the price of their plates I'd expect more than being forgotten. Everything else is acceptable, but I have never been forgotten about before and for it to happen twice in less than 6 months is not cool, to the point I downloaded yelp just to write my first review of a restaurant. Probably won't be back to this establishment for a long time if ever again. read more
