There aren't enough parking spots for everyone's vehicles. They say 2 cars per apartment but there's 3/4 and you're out of luck if you get home at it after 5. You'll more than likely have to park pretty far away from your apartment. There are trash bags laying around the parking lots because the trash compactor is pretty far from the apartments up front and people are having trouble carrying their heavy trash bags that far. There should be a small compactor for each building. There's dog poop EVERYWHERE and trash.. I know people have children BUT the children hang around on the tiny stair case to the point you have to please ask them to move over to pass.. there's children's toys laying out all over of front of the apartments. These should be brought in nightly. The trash is everywhere. Whomever is responsible for this place is NOT doing their job. There's so many things broken in these new apartments. They're cheaply made. There's not enough storage in the bathrooms.. my bath towels need to be held in my master closet. I know I'm complaining a lot but I can honestly say, I would NOT recommend anyone moving here. Honestly this is the worst place I've lived.

I will miss the ease and convenience of getting to my job and amenities that were available. Cons ------------------ The NEW OWNERS SUCK! They are out for and only interested in money. After two years, they are actually increasing the rent and/or not even interested in giving any incentives for the tenants to stay. From the moment he arrived, he immediately faced a serious flea infestation. He informed the apartment management about the issue right away, and while they did attempt to address it, it took more than four months for the fleas to become manageable. This situation raised concerns about whether his new couch and mattress were contaminated, which is understandably distressing. After about a month of battling the infestation, the complex offered to move him to a different unit, but he would have to cover the moving expenses himself. Since he doesn't have a local support system to help him move large furniture down from the second floor, this option wasn't feasible. Given these conditions, I strongly advise anyone considering Villa Broussard to think twice and explore other properties in the Lafayette/Broussard area. The ongoing pest issues and insufficient support from management make it a risky choice for potential renters.

My friend reported it and maintenance literally cut the mold out without treating the air or the surrounding areas and replace the wall. Waterhouse has leaking air ducts that are so bad that I've had to change my THREE HEPA filters weekly! We've been sick since last October! When asked for someone to fix the air ducts the maintenance guy pretends he went in the attic when I wasn't home and leaves his work order with a thumbs up on it! It's been raining through my recessed lights every time it rains, since the last hurricane. I asked maintenance to check for mold. He didn't expect me to be home this time so he had to go in the attic this time. He made NO comments just that he needed to call the roofing company to come fix "the issue". 3 months later and nothing has been done!! I'm fed up! The rent has gone up tremendously and the property has gone to crap! The rain coming through my light fixtures is a fire hazard and NOT ONE THING HAS BEEN DONE. I'm DONE and will warn everyone about the property mangers. You WILL get sick. PERIOD.
