They gave me a song and dance about how they stand behind their name, they are good people, blah, blah. So they keep my car 8 full days bc the owner told me he a vacation planned (all the whole I had to pay rental car fees $569). He said he would honor it and make sure I didn't pay any parts. Well, I go to pick up my car and they are charging me ANOTHER $579 $260 OF WHICH IS PARTS.Tgey admitted they f'ed up the first time and didn't fix a part in the engine that needs replaced w the cam shaft accuator. When I politely asked why I was being charged again for parts his TOTAL B daughter treated me like scum. So they F'ed me out of $1500 total between car rental, and charging me for the same job twice. I was in a very unsafe position on an extremely busy State Highway and unfortunately because of the time at night it was I was told it would be a very long wait close to 1 and 1/2 hours. The driver realizing that the area that I was in was in fact very dangerous. Got to me sooner than expected. I am extremely grateful for that, because the whole time I was sitting there I was just waiting for the first careless or drunk driver to hit my non-moving vehicle and literally kill me. And no there was no safe place to stand outside the vehicle. The driver was a very cheerful, considerate and intelligent person. He informed me on the proper way to tow my vehicle, which I didn't realize there was a proper way to tow my vehicle. He kept the conversation upbeat and cheerful, which is a very good thing and a high stress situation and trying to figure out how you're going to get a particular vehicle repaired. If you can't do it, yourself is very stressful. Also, he could see that I was overheated and offered me cold water which I find extremely unique as no other tow truck driver has had that much consideration for me and I am an older woman. Just a side thought, I am very thankful that I pay for the roadside hazard insurance. I believe on my insurance it cost me an extra $12 a year and considering that an average tow bill can run into the hundreds I believe that that is money well spent.

Important context, I am a mid-twenties girl traveling alone. I called Budget Towing & in less than an hour they arrived to give me a tow. Alan, the tower, explained everything he was doing, which added reassurance. He asked which place I wanted my car towed to, and instead, he suggested I take it to the shop he worked at. He didn't want me to get taken advantage of because of my demographic. I rode with him on the way to the shop and told him my situation. It was after 5:00 pm so many places weren't open, but Alan called around and was able to find the parts I needed. He said he was going to have the mechanics look at it right way in the morning. Alan not only helped me find a hotel that would be safe for me to stay at, but offered to give me a ride to the hotel and pick me up the next day. The following day, Alan picked me up from the hotel and let me stay in the office of the shop. They were beyond kind, offering a drink while I waited. They suggested additional fixes, but they were needed for my safety and they explained in layman's terms the fixes' importance. I knew I was in good hands. They were upfront about the price of the fix, and why. They worked with me on the payment and were more than understanding. Less than 12 hours after when my vehicle broke down I was on the road again. An experience like this could've been horrendous, but the crew at Budget Towing saved the day. I made it safely to my destination, and over a month later my vehicle is still running great. They have my & my families' upmost gratitude.
