I have been to many places. My friend recommended this place to me. There was warm welcome to me and my dog Charlie. Dr. Panesar did through exam and examined the skin with UV light. He listed all possible reasons and different tests to rule out them and explained the associated itemized cost. He also explained me the side effects of medicines. They claimed I had to bring her in as it was against the law to give deworming medication out. This is untrue as I simply went to a different vet and they sold it to me no problem. I have three cats and they lost my business all to try and make an extra $80 on a consultation. I live in Breslau and will prefer to drive into Guelph for all my animals needs.

He gets very scared, and becomes aggressive when fearful. Even sedation at home typically is negated by his fear. Our appointment with Dr. Farly went smoother than I could have hoped. She was very gentle, calm, and low stress for my cat. She was able to handle my cat for a thorough physical exam, and administer his vaccine without restraint. The birdcage in the exam room helped distract him just enough to prevent him from being fearful! It was amazing, and definitely well worth it. Fees are reasonable, and comparable to other clinics in the area

We've been lucky that our dog really only needs to go in about twice a year for check-ups and shots. The place is always clean and the examination rooms are large enough that my 65lb dog and I can sit together while he's going through the appointment. I had my beagle operated on and I had the opportunity to wait for my dog and I noticed that they take in more clients than my family doctor.Their attitudes were a bit stressed out .....but who wouldn't be if you worked as hard as these people do ! They were very professional ....knew what they were talking about and had a great passion for the animals they treated .I would take my dog there knowing that she would get the best of care ! In my opinion maybe it is the client who expects too much from the staff in these hard times. So grow up and go with the flow ... and be pleasant to people who work so hard . Have you been to a normal hospital and experienced the mad commotion happening ? I think Appleview Animal Hospital is much more organized .So get over it !!
