It's just so stinkin' pretty. The grounds are beautiful and the swing seats are really cool. Everywhere you look is breathtaking, and of course a photo opportunity. The food and drinks are reasonable. The charcuterie and "Apple & Brie Pinsa" (pizza) are my recommendations, along with a flight so you can find your new favourite drink. The "Peach Apple Hard Cider" is mine. Did you know that all of their wine and cider is gluten free? They have a gluten free menu and can accommodate most food allergies. They also have some really good merch. And not just clothing, I'm talking candles, chocolate bars, honey, and even those super neat lids for cans. (I'm a sucker for local small business merch, can you tell?) Last but not least, get a Peach Apple gelato to go, it's the perfect summer/fall treat.

Bill took great care of us, providing us with the history and other fun facts about Canadian wine and Dark Horse Estate. You could pick and choose what you wanted to add to your tasting. They were out of the sparkling wine, which I was really excited to try, so I ended up sampling a few roses and chose a glass of that instead. They have a nice outdoor patio with a huge fireplace and brick oven for pizzas! We didn't stay to try the food, but I would definitely come back for that. We bought a few bottles and enjoyed them over the weekend. A good experience, I recommend checking this place out if you have time.

They played the starts on the radio (at times it was difficult to hear due to poor reception). So fun to watch and at one point we were so close the coast guard came by and told us to "MOVE BACk!"
