This Wawa is a Tesla supercharger stop, which allows us to charge up after a long drive to see family or visit the island. We usually drop in for some coffee or seasonal drinks. I write this review in October 2024 as they're rolling out their new pizza offer. It was awesome that they gave out samples here to try the pizza. Tasted like birthday party pizza with a flatbread crust. If I recall correctly, this Wawa also offered free sandwich samples earlier in the year as well. Well done whoever had the idea to offer samples. Keeps us coming back! Service is usual, about a 5 minute wait for a custom order from the kiosk. Their lattes and hoagies are great. I usually go for a chicken cheesesteak and an iced matcha latte with mint if it's available. Another winner is the turkey gobbler which comes out a few weeks before thanksgiving: sliced turkey, cranberry sauce, gravy, and mashed potatoes if you dare on a hoagie roll. YUM! Wawa is clean and a very fast service! For those that don't know what a Wawa is .... It's a convenient store that's basically 5 star. They have a variety of coffee, you can get similar Starbuck drinks from the touch screen's plus smoothies and milkshakes. Did I mention that you can ask them to add immunity boost power, protein, or energy. They have a large refrigerator section with drinks, fresh cut fruit , parfait's, salad, wraps, and sandwiches. The store also offers plenty of snacks and home staples. The touch screen you can order burgers, Greek bowls, sandwiches, so muck more ! There was an older white lady with Burnett hair at the register. Everything was going to be paid for but there was a balance of 9 cents. She says she couldn't continue the transaction until I give her the change. I tell her I have to go to the car, of course I grab a dime and return to the store hoping to get my food. I then have to wait in a line (a few people) finally get to the register and she tells me I can't scan my rewards and that she didn't need the change. I give her the dime and she throws the penny on the table. She looks at me with a stank face and says, "down there is the number for corporate, you can give them a call." Now I'm not sure why corporate was mentioned but what I do know is, Her attitude was very un-necessary. I head over to the door and she says, "Would you like a receipt, no? Bye." One of the biggest things I miss about living in NJ. They have great sandwiches, coffee, and packaged lunches. This location is an older one, not as shiny as the others, but perfectly serviceable for a quick breakfast or lunch. No gas here, just a convenience store. read more

Bathrooms are always dirty. Always smell badly. Tissue on the floor. The sinks are never wipe down. I brought this up to the attention of one of the employees and he said the night crew usually takes care of it. They are apparently not doing their job then. There's always a Mess by the soda station as well. Garbage is always full. This place would be too bad if they just cleaned up once in awhile. read more

I've experienced much better Wawa's than this one. The employees always seem moody, the sandwiches are poorly prepared, and for some odd reason, there's always about 10 kids hanging out in the parking lot. It's a hangout spot for kids, but skip this place if you're expecting a nicer Wawa. They also don't keep the floor very clean, or the bathrooms in good shape. On the positive side, it IS still a Wawa, so they'll still have all the little things you might want to snack on. read more

Worst Wawa ever! First of all they stacked their cup carriers so high I couldn't reach I had to drag the whole thing off the shelf. I'm 5'5". Then every single one ripped trying to get it out, once one was out my coffee was impossible to fit into it, it just crumpled and my coffees were swaying so I gave up. I then get to the register and behind this cashiers only customer, she rings them out and turns around and looks into a box and starts unpacking... what?! So i stand there for 20 seconds and decide to get in the other line which went from one customer to 3 by the time I got in it. I finally put my stuff down (remember my arms are full bc the coffee carrier was a piece of junk), this other cashier turns around and says "next customer please!" Nobody moves bc they saw the bs I just dealt with. Never going back. read more

I have been to several wawa's in the area. I have my egg white burrito in the morning. Now my complaint is at one wawa the burrito is cold in the middle . And at other wawa's it's so hot you can't eat it. Now why is that? I have complained to the wawa's but they never respond back. And Barnegat wawa has very rude employees that work there. They also have the survey to fill out and you still don't get a response back. Nothing worse than eating a cold burrito in the morning to get your day started. read more
