However, I noticed the feature has been turned off in the Clover App for several weeks now, and I figured since it was midday Saturday, it would be safe. Wrong. The place wasn't busy, but many people were waiting and it took a looong time, even tho I only ordered a plain bagel with light cream cheese and a coffee. Several people that came after me got their food before, and what normally takes 3-4 min, took almost 12. Plus my order had to be remade because the lady prepping it accidentally toasted the bagel. I wrote it off as an off day, but came back on Sunday and had a similar experience. Needless to say, I'll keep coming here because the facility is super clean and I love their food, I just hope they get it together and reopen the Order Ahead option!

Also grabbed 1/4 lb each of the egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad, and all three were tasty. I think the Egg Salad was probably the best one and reminds me of a deviled egg. The Steak Breakfast Burrito was just ok, but it was definitely heavy on the potatoes and pretty light on the steak which was like shaved steak meat in Philly sandwiches instead of chunks of steak. I think at least half the burrito are potatoes. Still flavorful overall, just not quite balanced the way I expected.

That place was Welsh Farm. Walking inside, the interior screams 80s/90s. It's not the cleanest and the interior could use some TLC. But it has the quick essentials you could need. More importantly, it has the grill. I immediately got the vibe of being back in Sunnyside Queens and going into one of the random bodegas or delis on the corner to grab something quick. What I also didn't realize is the numerous sandwiches and other items they make. There's just one guy there (I think Vim?), but I heard great things about the Paneer Tikka sandwich. Therefore, I ordered it. It was cooked on demand. Now to be honest, the sandwich was just far too spicy for even my spicy taste buds. I could only take a few bites and had to pluck out all the peppers. I could easily give 4 stars, but Vim's personal touch and customer service made me forget about the spiciness of the food. He went over and beyond, letting me know of the other items he can make, asking me to give him a call to let him know what I thought about that food. Customer service is a lost art and it is something I miss and cherish when received. Therefore, maybe I don't eat the Paneer Tikka again, but I might just try some other items because of the excellent service.

She was making drinks, stocking shelves, helping customers, answering questions, and somehow being in three places at once. I'm about 67% sure she cloned herself. I asked for my order and she handed it to me in about 30 seconds. Either she's incredibly efficient or she's secretly practicing witchcraft in the back. I won't be investigating further. The only downside? She made me feel incredibly unproductive. I watched her do the work of six employees while I spent five minutes deciding what flavor mini ice cream parfait I wanted.... (Chose cookies and cream btw) Overall, the parfait was great, the service was amazing, and if Zoe ever quits, this Wawa might collapse into the Atlantic Ocean. It was a sweltering 93 degree day, and I walked to order a simple lunch here. Oh and I needed caffeine. As I walked in I found it so quaint. I went up to the counter and found a beautiful soul. I spoke to her letting her know about my food allergies. I asked her about the bread ingredients and she so sweet and very patient. I grabbed a coffee, bottles of water and soda / pop. She knew I was at the local hotel, she asked if I was going to walk back and I said yes. She said no you are not. I have to go get gas, I'll take you. I said no, not to worry. I grabbed the heavy bag and remembered the heat. I said, I'll pay you. She wasn't having it. She drove me back to the hotel. I learned that she is the owner! This is what I say is the best, most beautiful thing a restaurant could ever do for her customers. The ham and cheese were excellent. The coffee was so good. Barbara THANK YOU!!!!
