The tire light went off on my way to costco and I was just a block away so I stopped here to put air in the tires. Wawa is one of the few gas stations around that offers free air. I pulled no one was in front of me so I thought I was in luck only to find that the machine didn't work. The croissant was buttery, the eggs did their job, the peppers and onions brought just enough soul, and the whole thing tasted like a country that--at least for breakfast--still knows what it's doing. My experience was an interesting one right from the start. The price of gasoline was low compared to other vendors, although after pumping fuel the receipt would not generate and that hated phrase, "Please See Cashier", popped up on the pump monitor. Anyways, as I approached the front of the WaWa store, a man opened the front door for me and other patrons with a follow up comment, "I'm homeless can I have some money"? - unfortunately, the act of kindness did not come without request for payment. After hitting a few breweries, I needed something salty and found the big pretzels for only $1.19 on the rack near the front door. Paid at the digital cashier kiosk and left. Now I know for sure that I've done a review for this gas station/convenience store combo before. I mean, I have 40 something check-ins! But, hey, if Yelp insists I don't have one, then here goes. We stop here often for gas. I rarely go inside to the store for food or anything else. The pumps are busy all the time. But using my wawa card makes it easy and fast to get gas. When I do check in, I try to list the price of a regular gallon of gas. It helps others who may be in the area looking for a comparison. And with our loyalty card, we get another discount, as well. So, yes, we will be back often, I imagine. read more

It's okay. Nothing great, nothing bad really. There's trash on the floors of both inside and the parking lot. There's wet floor signs all over and the floor isn't really wet but whatever. I guess better safe than sorry? The cashier didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Not mean, just unenthusiastic. The food was awesome though and is the reason this review isn't 2 stars. Tiffany and Nia were great. Not necessarily happy to be there either BUT definitely efficient and know what they're doing. Wawa is popping up everywhere in south Florida. This location has been open 2-3 weeks. Like other locations, Wawa has great food options. This one being near my work, my co workers have been getting different lunch options almost every day. I went with a co worker and wanted to try something other than a panini or sandwich. The spicy tuna hoagie bowl was pretty good. It is sort of like a salad. The taste with the spicy sauce was pretty flavorful. So, it was suppose to have lettuce or spinach in it. In my bowl there was hardly any, I hope they make it better next time. But the bell peppers and cucumbers made up for it alittle. I'll be trying some other lunch times as well in the future. Since they just opened, they have specials on coffee and drinks. Their gas prices are good. Ya, Costco is down the street so I'm sure they both will be competing. Listen fam, I love a Wawa and honestly, it's a little difficult to admit this, well it used to be at least, because growing up on the western-side of Pennsylvania if you didn't ride or die for Sheetz, you were nothing. Now that Wawa has infultrated the south (and Sheetz hasn't) I've officially flipped to the darkside and come to love this gas station and all its many offerings. What's not to love about Wawa? As opposed to the various locations I've been to up north (I'm looking at you Philly) the Wawa's here are clean, yes, they're new- especially this location with has only been open maybe a month, but where it's located I could easily see it becoming a dump in no time, but fortunately they keep up with the mess and keep it spotless. Wawa has it all: coffee (iced and hot), teas, a couple of Coke Freestyle machines (I'm currently addicted to Diet root beer if you care), soft preztels which are the freshest and tastiest pretzels ever, snacks, and a ton more. Also, the big draw here is the made to order food. They've got chicken noodle soup, sandwiches, and more. Some of my personal favs are their macaroni and cheese (which I've gotten by itself, with bacon on top, and I've had chicken tenders on top- all three epic). I'm a fan of their chicken tender subs. Their breakfast is bomb. The absolute best is their Thanksgiving sandwich during the holidays. They're always running some sort of sale like any size drinks for a buck. The service inside is pretty consitantly good. The gas is pretty cheap as well. You know, as cheap as gas can be. All-in-all guys, it's great here. A simple place to get cheap, easy food that tastes good, might not be that healthy, but YOLO. I'm pretty happy Wawa has made the transition to South Florida. This location is great. If nothing else, get the churro coffee and thank me when you take your first sip. read more

My second Wawa visit, and it was as good as my first. Only, I just came for the coffee, no gas purchase, so I guess I have bought into the hype. Their coffee is great!! And they have every conceivable milk, creamer, soy, you name it. It goes a long way in making your java a lot better. I do Hazelnut coffee with Hazelnut cream :) I didn't have food at this location bit there were a lot of people waiting for food. The inside was clean,but the coffee area needed attention. Counters were wet and sticky. I saw quite a few people seating in the outside area, and only a couple of attendants. They need more staff. Other than that, A-Ok. Is in a busy intersection; Powerline and Sample. I am waiting for the one closer to me to open! read more

This Wawa is very easy to find seeing that it is on the corner of a major intersection on Powerline Road, upon entering the staff was very friendly and welcoming and they were very quick with the orders that were already in process they have a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from some you never thought would exist but are all equally amazing! They have soups, Subs, they even do paninis and salads there is definitely something here for everyone. Prices are very reasonable for both food and drinks my only problem I had was when I was walking around waiting for my order to be made the floor was very sticky to the point that I could audibly hear my shoes sticking to the floor and could feel it aside from that this place was super clean and everything was in great condition and I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area. read more

Wawa has changed the game as far as visiting gas stations in south Florida is concerned. They are popping up on every street in every city. This location of wawa is on Powerline and Sample across from Costco which I visit quiet frequently. Not only do all wawa gas stations have ample parking but they seem to be busy all the time. Besides giving the customers the option of gas prices at cheaper rates compared to regular gas pumps they also offer great food options inside the store which is very clean and well managed. They have touchscreens located around the store from where you can order breakfast or lunch items along with a variety of drinks like smoothies and milkshakes. I also noticed recently that another location of wawa is coming soon across the street from canyon town center on Boynton near our home. Can't wait for that one to open so we have a great option in Boynton too. read more

This gas station is kind of a quagmire for me. Pro's - Wawa is impressive, it reminds me of the large gas stations I would find dotted along the inter-state. Wawa has successfully managed to combine a convenience store, a market and a gas station into one stop shopping experience. Their gas is probably the cheapest you can find around and the gas dispensers are appealing and clean. They have recycle & trash bins. Con's - This is GMO paradise, I read the label of everything I picked up and high fructose corn syrup, potassium bromate, artificial flavors & chemical preservatives were common ingredients. So if you value you're health, this is not the place to get a quick bite, unless you get a fruit salad. Yes the gas is cheap, but it's not top tier gas. This place was packed when I came. Either way, I got my food quick and the employees making my sandwich were smiling and happy. I ordered the roast beef club with a side of hoarse radish. This sandwich is way better with hoarse radish on the side. At another wawa they put too much and I had to scrape it out. Upon walking in I noticed this store was spotless. There was staff wiping down the tables and others taking the trash out. I would definitely return here. I just wish there were more wawa's around town. read more

Literally one of the worst experiences ever in a Wawa. Stopped at 7pm on Thursday evening for two sandwiches. I rang out at 703pm. It took 17 minutes for two sandwiches ! Had I been able to get a refund, I would have done so and left ! There was a large business order and two employees handling all orders. One kid, Alex, simply toasted bread/rolls and lined up for next employee. She had to make, cut, wrap, and box each sandwich while this ***** just toasted bread. Even the lady that made the big order asked him to assist with other orders 3x's and he would just say no. She felt bad as it was backing up quickly and both employees were only working for her order. She was very nice and courteous which was refreshing. Another employee came back and assisted with large order(20+ items) towards the very end and walked away as soon as order done. Should you assist all the others now waiting an extended time ???? One guy had four milkshakes melting as they were done 10+ minutes prior and he had a sandwich pending also. No management on floor nor assisting. read more

After landing in Ft Lauderdale I had to make my way up to West Palm Beach to my hotel. I noticed signs for Wawa while on the highway and made my exit. The Wawa is about 1.4 miles off the highway but I am glad I didn't give up. Like all Wawa's the tire air up station is free which is super convenient since I hardly ever have change on me. The young lady at the food station was super sweet and nice and had my food ready in mere minutes. The place was super clean and has tons of drink and food options. Definitely recommended! read more

This is one of my favorite chains! I even own a wawa hat and shirt before they even came to Florida. I tried this location for my first time tonight and it was one of the worst locations, but I'll come back to make sure it wasn't a fluke since I'm not far from it. The main thing I noticed was how many employees there were, and how they were all busy talking to eachother, and texting. When I checked out, not a hello or goodbye, just scanning items and taking cash, giving change like a robot. The NJ based locations and the west and central FL locations are amazing, but this location is already showing it's true colors of South Florida. One of our favorite grab and go snacks are the stuffed pretzels. We got a total of 3. None of them had any filling. I am slightly exaggerating when I say no filling. The jalapeño one had a slight hint of heat, but absolutely no evidence of any cheese or filling. The cream cheese one was reported as "missing the filling" also. This appears to be a very busy gas station convenience store that everyone needs to try as they are the "new kid on the block". I've heard of Wawa but this is a new, shiny novelty in SoFlo. They do have a great selection and easy self-service. This is a plus but I wanted to play lotto. The terminals were down so I can buy from the machine but no human assistance or cashing-in my winning tickets. A fail in my book as lotto goes with gas. Being new, everything was clean and shiny. I hope this continues but future visits will tell the truth. Of course, the gas prices will have to beat the competition for my return to see this. Recently known as the new shiny thing to everybody, Wawa has simply fallen into the "above average" convenience store category to me. Yes Wawa has shaken up the convenience store industry with several innovative concepts but overall is just a glorified convenience store and gas station. This particular location had a couple of "undesirable types" milling about the property which did make me a little nervous (all convenience stores seem to have that tendency). I really do like the coffee station and food ordering kiosks along with the wide gas pump lanes and easy access location near such a busy intersection. read more

This was the worst and gross experience I have ever inquired in a WaWa store with the ladies restroom especially with COVID-19 prevalent still. The restroom appearance seemed to not be cleaned on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc basis. I almost vomited with the appearance of only 2 stall restroom. This store was at a busy major intersection and it was only 1 cashier on Monday, April 19, 2021 @ 2:10pm, lines extremely long. I visit this Wawa everyday before work and everything is usually smooth going. Today 10/09/18 at approximately 9:35am I took an item off the shelf that's obviously for sale but when I went up to pay for it BOTH cashiers (one trying to be more helpful then the other) said they couldn't sell it to me because it wouldn't ring up in your system which she then sought help from the manager.. well the manager didn't even bother coming out or attempt in the slightest to help or at least explain to me, she just immediately told the cashier through the headset to tell me NO, we can't sell it. Which was an item I desperately needed at the time and in the process made me late to work.. So, my questions is why is Wawa putting items on shelves that cannot be sold? read more
