All I have to say is. When I go to gas stations. I don't expect much in the way of food let alone customer service. First I want to give recognition to Mario. Not only was he friendly. But he was very welcoming. And very prompt. Running two registers at once. And being very friendly and amazing to every guest. Please hire more people like Mario. He is the key to success. It's the best gas station food ever! Im from NY and Wawa was always a Jersey thing. I remember making fun of my cousins for loving Wawa so much. I guess I never understood how much Wawa could mean to someone. Well now I know. And I believe I have to make amends with some family members. Sorry Andrea! First of all the food is really good. It's perfect for breakfast or lunch and even for dinner if you want something quick and delicious. This particular store is near my job so I stop in all the time. The food and coffee are reasonably priced. They also offer lattes and such, which taste good even to someone like me who hates coffee. I have liked every hoagie/ panini/ wrap/ quesadilla/ breakfast sandwich, etc that I have gotten there. I have also tried the tomato basil soup. They also have a small section with healthier options which includes salads, wraps, fruit cups, yogurts, etc. But if you are not the healthy type or in the mood for something sweeter, they have some donut options as well. Like any gas station they have cigarettes, car essentials, snacks and beer. But not just any beer section, they have a whole Beer cooler room. Cool huh! This Wawa is near a bunch of hotels that are there because of their proximity to the airport, and it served a purpose for me staying in one of those hotels. I went there mainly to get some half and half that we forgot to bring with us for a weekend conference, but I also bought a couple of breakfast sandwiches one morning, so as to avoid expensive restaurant meals. Having this wawa open is like karma. Because i was always frustrated And pissed, quite frankly at the lack of options for reasonably priced fuel on this stretch near the airport. Not only is the fuel reasonably priced, but with the added perks of tasty food, and happy environment, I hope that the other gas stations, like Suncoast energies and Sun gas shut the hell down. This location near Orlando International Airport is crazy busy. Dropped off my kids early one morning to catch their flight, went in and got a coffee. You can have it black or a bazillion other ways with flavored creamers, different milks etc. You know where I'm going with this. Their breakfast Sizzli sandwiches are the best. Wawa subs are pretty amazing also, or as they call them "hoagies." Computerized ordering system, you have to see it to understand it. Pretty amazing. This Wawa is conveniently located within the Uber/Lyft queue geofence for MCO. You'll probably see a lot of rideshare drivers hanging out here. Though I notice that they've since installed signs in the parking spaces telling drivers not to loiter for more than 15 minutes. As for the gas, since it's Wawa, it's usually one of the cheaper stations in town. Plenty of pumps and plenty of space to get in and out. Though if you use the side egress you have to make a right turn (you can make a U-turn just a few yards down the road, though). The interior is oddly arranged. The restrooms and the cash registers are to the right. Men's restroom is not always the cleanest, but I've seen way worse. Pretty big beverage selection and one of the few Wawas with a walk-in beer cooler. Can't say I've ever ordered food here. But this is an extremely busy Wawa, so service will either be really quick or really slow. Otherwise, it's just another solid Wawa location. Not the best, but faaaaaar from the worse. read more

This Wawa opened very recently right down the street from SunCoast where they charge over $5/gal. Wawa, however, is only charging $2.99/gal right now... So not only are they charging less than SunCoast, but they're charging .50/gal less than everyone else! On June 23rd we picked up our online order at around 9:45pm. Now unfortunately I don't know who was working but they deserve RECOGNITION! This location is crazy; but, I got so lucky the other day after coming out of Epic Theaters on our way to Cheddar's. I was able to snag a pump without a wait! But, the cars coming in and going out never stopped! I only needed gas, so I was so happy to see the receipt paper when it printed out. The gas station is accessed via an access road off of Semoran, which also has a traffic light. Exiting is right turn only, so you have to make a U-turn, which proved no trouble. As busy as it was, this place looked immaculate; very nice store. I understand this is the first location that was picked for Orlando, as the Wawa CEO supposedly stopped at a different gas station on Semoran and they didn't even post prices - he was charged like $5 per gallon! I don't know if it's true; but, it makes a good story. BTW, that other gas station is still on Semoran, still does not post prices; and, still charges outrageously. I hope Wawa shuts them out. GASSED UP PART 3 All good movies end in a Trilogy but seldom is the last movie as good as the first but this time I disagree. When we were returning our rental car to the Orlando airport we drove by this station and instead drove into the station at the next light. What I found next was just pure horror. The next gas station was charging $6 a gallon. What? To make matters worse the station across the street was charging the same. Had the end of the world started. Was this a promotion for the new "Mad Max" movie? I didn't know but I knew as an American who likes to not be ripped off that I needed to make a move. I opened my second favorite app called "Gas Buddy". What's my first favorite app you ask? It's the Yelp App. I'm sure you've heard of it. What is great about Gas Buddy is that it will show you the prices of all of the gas stations near your vehicle. If Mad Max had this app he might be called Happy Max. If you don't have "Gas Buddy" then you need to download it now. The app showed me that this gas station had the best prices and that it was the closest station to me. I drove back here and the prices were $2.26 a gallon. I saved about $22 on the fill up of my rental car tank. Thanks to Wawa for being a decent gas station and not trying to take advantage of the customer. I know travel can be hectic and when you're returning your rental car you need a full tank. Those other stations need to not prey on the fears of travelers. Wawa has a store but I didn't go in. I just needed to gas up and get to the airport to catch my plane. Just remember the next time you are driving into the Orlando airport be aware of where to fill up your tank. Your last option is not always the best. Yes, that means when I get back from out of town I can grab pretzels and hoagies, score! They also carry Tastykakes, YUM! Since it's brand new everything is pristine and they employees were lovely. Since it is a few miles from the airport and all the rental car locations it can become extremely busy and hard to secure a spot to pump gas at times. If you haven't been to a Wawa before the food is actually pretty good for a gas station and the prices are reasonable. During the holiday season be sure to try the seasonal turkey globber hoagie! Unlike the majority of my experiences at a gas station, the employees at Wawa are very friendly and attentive. As far as gas station fast food outlets are you really can't beat Wawa for both the prices and the quality. I go to this Wawa a lot... for soup. Yep, that's right, SOUP. Even though it is right next to a Panera (which has lovely soup options as well) we always go to Wawa when the office AC is freezing and we need soup to warm us. The soup varies from day to day but every soup I have tried has been fantastic. be sure to get the buttered roll with it. Yum. I'm not crazy about their subs. I stick with the soup. Service at this Wawa has always been very fast, so it is a great lunch spot. They also sell gas. What is there not to like about Wawa? When I first moved to Orlando I didn't get the "Wawa craze" as I put it. Then I started looking around for gas and comparing other gas stations to them. With the exception of the "Slurpee" no one touches Wawa. I do love a slurpee and no an icee is NOT and I repeat not the same. I love that there's free air for your tires. because honestly I never have quarters to put air in my tires and it stinks having to get change just for a little air.
