This WAWA, like most WAWAs suck. The management doesn't give a damn if every gas pump has an empty vehicle by them as long as the occupants are in the store buying something. It is impossible to get gas during breakfast or lunch. This Wawa could use some improvements. There are no napkins where you need them. Unlike other Wawa locations which offer a cup of ice water with your food purchase this place does not have any water unless you want to spend $2 or $3. This store is a disgrace to the Wawa name and all of Pennsylvania where it originated. At least they got the hoagies correct. I wish that I could say that they have the rest of their ish together. This particular Wawa location is located at the corner of Colonial Drive and Orange Blossom Trail. It is a convenient location and for anyone familiar with wawa, it is a wawa. That alone says it's a great place. I am a big fan of Wawa. Yes, it is a gas station, but it is also so much more. The inside has the usual convenience store items, but it is the food counter that makes this gas station chain shine. What most people Embrace about this gas station chain, or at least the food from this gas station chain, is there subs, which they call hoagies. Whatever you want to call them, this particular sandwich is pretty good. Especially when you consider that it is coming from a gas station. As for my go-to sandwich, I usually get there Italian sub. The gas prices are competitive and they offer free air to boot. All in all, a winning combination and worthy of five stars. read more

Very disappointing visit to Wawa today. There was trash all over the parking lot and even in front of one of the doors. The bathroom was filthy. No soap in bathroom either? Store number 2239 The following correspondence took place at around 1:15 AM on Thursday, May 30th 2024 (about 10 minutes ago) I came to this establishment as I normally do after work. I had by far the worst experience that I've ever had at any Wawa with a manager named Alejandra. Quite ironic considering my father's name is Alejandro and I naturally have good faith in people named "Alex". After a long shift I entered this Wawa and ordered two egg and cheddar melt subs (as I normally do) because I haven't eaten in several hours. I place my order on the computer screen located in the establishment, grab a cold beer from the cooler, and wait in line to pay at the register. After having a pleasant interaction with a young black gentleman with glasses (Alejandra wouldn't let me get his name when it was all said and done.) She told him to "wait in the office for her" while he was doing a very good job of taking care of his customers. Anyways, after I paid, I waited in line for my two subs and in a short amount of time, Alejandra placed one bowl in the food pick up window. She called out a number and got back to work. It's possible that it was my number that she called, (631) but I didn't expect to see a bowl as I ordered two subs so I kept on about my business. About a minute later she said "sir are you waiting on anything else?" Given the fact that my career is legal counsel, I'll now waste my time to recall the conversation between the two of us. Me: Ma'am that's not my order. Alejandra: Aren't you 631? Me: Yes, but I ordered two egg and cheese melts, this is not that. Alejandra: Well we don't have bread tonight, Me: Don't you think the computer should inform me if that's the case? It's kind of crazy that I have to be informed of that, after I make my purchase. Alejandra: Well that's not my problem sir. Me: I'm sorry, so it should be mine? What kind of sense does that make? Wouldn't it be better if the computer stated that, so I don't have to waste my time and money? Alejandra: Well it doesn't matter. We don't have bread tonight. (Mind you, I wasn't even offered two bowls like I paid for in sandwiches. I was given one and was basically told to step off.) The young black dude with the glasses came over genuinely concerned. Young black dude with glasses: "Hey is everything okay?" Alejandra started yelling and being EXTREMELY unprofessional. I immediately saw that he had a level head and started talking to him exclusively. Me: "Brother; she tried telling me that this is what I ordered when it wasn't. When I doubled down on the fact that what she said I ordered wasn't what I ordered, she gave me the implication that not only it wasn't her fault, it was mine." The young man said simply "Come on over here so I can get you your refund, as we don't have bread this evening." I thanked him and walked with him back to the register while explaining to him "Hey, I don't want anyone to get in trouble, but that's just wrong how I was treated for this quote unquote misunderstanding". That's when Alejandra told him to go to the office and wait for her. There's no doubt in my mind that she's connected to people in high places within that company. Why else would she feel like treating people the way she treated me, was the right thing to do. The last thing she said to me before I left was "You're now banned and no longer allowed to come to this Wawa". That's something else, considering I've spent thousands of dollars in this establishment over the past year alone. Even if nothing comes of it, I will be forwarding this message to corporate. Wawa is a wonderful place where it's cost effective that people get what they need. Someone like Alejandra is a cancer that doesn't belong to said place. read more

Anywho, this is a review on coffee so to start, the presentation was surprisingly good (sometimes it's messy). Wawa has long been one of my favored gasoline station/convenience store places, and this particular Wawa is a good example of why I favor them. It's brand new, spotlessly clean, everything orderly, properly displayed and the service not only super friendly but helpful. Their gas pumps are new, the screens are bight, easy to see and more user friendly than are most pumps. Also, for convenience items, the inventory is larger than those of most of its competition offer far more choices along with better selections. read more

This is routinely one of Orlando's worst WaWa locations. I understand the place is open 24 hours a day and stays fairly busy throughout the day, but it is never clean (ever). Worse though, they are always behind in brewing coffee or out of things in the coffee condiment bar (more than the typical WaWa is out of these things). I don't even usually eat WaWa food, but the rare occasions when I tried - they were out of food items then, too! There are always long lines and they seem to be one of the slowest locations to open a new register to help people. The parking lot is always full and there are not enough gas pumps or space to really navigate around them. While this isn't something WaWa can necessarily control (except in the design process!), it certainly effects the customer experience. When getting gas here, you're pretty much guaranteed to be approached by someone asking for money. A gas station with this much foot traffic and chaos literally needs someone regulating the parking lot! read more

Please please do not try to get your tires filled with air here. I just spent over an hour outside stranded because it flattened my tire. I went inside to ask the manager what was going on and her response was "yeah I haven't had time to go out there and put a sign up". Are you kidding me?!?!? THANKFULLY this young man had a kit and pumped my tire up for me. In the hour and a half I was at that location no one came out and taped the tire pump off, and I had to warn at least ten cars not to use the pump. Who'da thought you could have a great time with friends having coffee and pastries at Wawa on the corner of Colonial and Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando!! I don't know if we were lucky, but we did. -- the guy at coffee counter and the cashier were lovely (doing their job well-- ample choices of fresh coffee and with a big smile... friendly quick checkout), lots of cream choices - French vanilla, hazelnut, Irish cream..., paired with pretty good sour cream and chocolate chip pastries. Sitting at outdoor tables in perfect 76 degrees... yes, a couple of people who just seemed to be hanging out but I didn't feel uncomfortable (daytime and with friends). I see other not so flattering reviews but like I said-- it was a great spur of the moment choice to stop in for coffee, treat. The rest of the gas station/shop seemed clean and efficient. read more

At approximately 9pm I cashed out with Jasmine. I paid for 25$ on pump 3 and a little Debbie snack cake. Immediately after checking out I walked to the pump and attempted to pump my gas. At no time once the nozzle was removed did I mount it or anything that would prevent me from pumping gas. After about a minute of unsuccessfully pumping gas I pressed the call button. Jasmine on the speaker asked me what's the problem was. I explained to her I am attempting to pump gas to no avail. She then accused me of hanging the pump back up and stated that I would need to come back in and pay AGAIN. I constantly explained to her I did no such thing and why would I pay again when the gas should be at the pump & I have not received the return funds. In a line with over ten customers she began her verbal assault on me accusing me of an error, stating she did her job and it's on my and to call and dispute the funds with my bank. I was absolutely mortified and just walked out after 4 minutes of constantly trying to explain to her that the gas was never sent to the pump but she didn't investigate and would not admit that she would make a mistake. I asked to speak to a manager, she stated she was the manager, she didn't make a mistake that it's on me and to dispute it with my bank. While attempting to call my bank she speaks on the intercom at the pump and stated she made the error and put my 25$ of gas on the person behind me gas request. People make mistakes, we are human but at no time is it okay to verbally attack a customer without ensuring an error wasn't made, to tell a customer it is not your problem and to dispute it with their financial institution and highly unprofessional. I am appalled and completely humiliated as she accused me of many things and faulted me for her own error in front of over 15 people. read more

This is the Wawa I frequent the most due to its proximity to home & work. I'm a loyal Wawa fanatic due to their consistency with cleanliness, delicious food & free air. This location has the unfortunate position of being located on the corner of OBT & Colonial, which is not the best area in Orlando. The clientele is not the best here & the service is hit or miss. There are usually long lines at the register due to only one being open most of the time. I've only needed to use the bathrooms once here and they were just a little untidy, not terribly messy though. However, the food, free air and gas are consistent here which keeps me coming back. read more

After a long awaited grand opening I couldn't be more disappointed in this location. This Wawa location just opened - which means what? Free coffee for all. Which means what? They preplanned to have a week of free coffee right? Ok glad we are all on the same page. Also please note it's been 45 degrees every morning since Monday, today being Friday. I went to Wawa on Tuesday to grab some breakfast and indulge in their delightful coffee. The coffee bar was busier than normal due to the area of town (right outside downtown Orlando) but I was able to maneuver around the other coffee lovers to get my cup. Noting that I should come a little earlier than 8am if I want coffee before the crowd. I came back on two occasions - Thursday and Friday. Thursday I arrived at Wawa super early and to my surprise there was no coffee. The coffee bar had run out of almost every flavor, because the clearly improperly trained person wasn't continuously brewing coffee despite the enormous crowd all week (including promotions and weather). All coffee was backed up 5 minutes for brewing and I couldn't wait. Incredibly disappointed I left. I figured I would give it another shot on Friday. Today I arrived at Wawa extra early to get my cup. A large crowd was surrounding the coffee bar and again to my shock, no coffee and to top it off they were all out of cups except for small coffee cups. All coffee brews were backed up 8 minutes because the TWO clearly improperly trained people running the coffee bar didn't think it was a good idea to keep the coffee brewing. Wow! Nothing is worse than being ready for a hot cup of coffee from your FAVORITE coffee provider, waking up extra early, to get there early, and not being able to get your coffee not just one but TWO days in a row. I am incredibly disappointed in this location. Wawa had two issues this week - they are in a super busy area of town and they are offering free coffee. This was a decision by management therefore they should have been prepared. They should not have run out of coffee - period, nor should they have run out of cups. If they needed more coffee stills or cups they should have ordered more or sent an employee up the street to their sister location on JYP/Sliver Star and bought or borrowed from them. It's just unacceptable. I am the biggest Wawa fan around. I even consider myself a Wawa snob! No ones coffee is better than Wawa, I tell everyone I know and meet to make their way to Wawa and this is what this new location has to offer? Ugh! I'm still upset about it. I'm on the fence on whether or not I will ever go back to this location. I might just have to switch to my local 7-Eleven or get up even earlier to bypass this location and go to the one that never disappoints me. I specifically came to Wawa because I was told how wonderful it was- WELL all I wanted was a cup of DECAF chocolate caramel latte. There was no place to choose decaf when ordering on the computer so I walked over to the barista and asked if he could make it decaf and his response "not going to happen". He didn't say anything other then that- not I'm out of decaf or I'm sorry we can't do that- NOTHING! What the heck? How can you not have decaf coffee? First off I love the Wawa chain but this location is not good. After you battle the bums begging for money you get in the store where it's almost always busy. They only open one register and let the line back up literally halfway across the store before they open a second one. They can't seem to keep the popular items stocked at least twice a week they're sold out of one or two things I stop there for. Hit and miss on friendly service.
