I love Wawa! I am always amazed with how much Wawa offers! Soup, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza, even! So many vegan options too - burritos and burrito bowls, hoagies, hashbrowns and more. I am not particularly a fan of Starbucks, so Wawa is my spot for fresh coffee and prepared drinks. I love all the flavors of pre-brewed coffees! Wawa's are popping up every where and with good cause! Maybe the gas is a little cheaper but the lines at this station aren't what I'd wait for BUT the food is good. We just wanted a little something-like good hot dog. No hot dogs here but maybe other Wawa's?!? So I ordered a custom salad with 3 lettuces, chef salad and it was great. As good as any restaurant and nice big size...as a custom with extras with was $9.20 or so but I thought worth it. My husband ordered an Italian sub and when we sat down to eat his was dry...no dressing at all. This WaWa serves good food and most of the employees are awesome. I typically order through the app and run in to pick up my items. Tonight, I wanted hot tea but I didn't see a way to add it to my online order so I ended up going towards the beverage area to look for the teabags. I didn't see them so I politely asked Regina who was standing by the beverage area where all the creams and sugar are kept, where the teabags were kept. She pointed toward the other side of the store in the general direction of the registers and said "over there". I walk toward the area where they hand you the food and she again points in the same general direction and yells "no, over there". I say to her, I'm not seeing it, and she yells "ma'am, over there" while still stupidly pointing toward the registers. At this point, I tell her maybe you should show it to me, and she yells "it's on the other side". Yep. It's on the other side of the same beverage stand she's standing at and her silly self couldn't take two steps to point at the tea or verbalize the fact that it's right on the other side of where she's standing. Honestly, I can't wait for her to mouth off at the wrong person and get popped in her smart mouth. Regina, do better! Icing on the cake, when I asked for a manager, another employee (not a manager) walked out saying "I know what this is about". While she apologized for the rude big mouthed employee, she actually heard Regina yelling at me from where she was (the back of the food prep area) and didn't intervene. She then proceeds to tell me Regina will be transferred to a new store in 2 weeks to train the employees. Gasp. I'm glad she will be gone soon, but she really shouldn't be training anyone. I can understand why people rave about Wawa. This was my first time entering this chain. It was full of light, with lots of windows and lots of space in between sections/aisles. It appeared excessively clean for a busy roadside stop. Previously, I didn't understand how food focused Wawa is; apparently, it's not just your run of the mill gas station at all. This location, at least, had a big half moon bar in the center where sandwiches are made to order. Wawa has a very well organized system: select your order (on a tablet/kiosk), take your ticket, shop, pickup your order when your number is called, then pay. My burrito was made by the time I filled up a soda. My burrito was completely adequate for a road trip grab-and-go option; I appreciate that there were way more beans in it than rice. A nicely laid out display of ready-to-go pre-packaged items was also available if I had been in more of a hurry. 99 cents for any size soda?! Awesome. read more

Great place to stop in the Tradition area for gas, a sandwich or a break. This site is located on the southwest corner on SW Tradition parkway and SW Village parkway intersection. These are both large roads and seemed fairly easy to get to and depart from. It is a busy location so drive carefully. There is parking on all sides of the building. There are about 5 lanes with 2 pumps on each with 2 sides each (20 gas pumps total) for unleaded and diesel fuel on the east side. Main entrance to the store is on the east side facing the pumps although there is another exit/entrance on the west side. The store has a covered set of about 5 tables outside on the north side. The store has, as most of these locations do, a restaurant to make sandwiches and choices for food, drinks and other items for travelers. The location was clean, both inside and out, and the staff was pleasant. We tried a tuna sandwich which was very good. Gas was reasonably priced for the current high prices in the area. Overall, it seems like a good place to stop in the Tradition area for gas, a sandwich or a break. Fellow travelers, enjoy! read more

This was my first visit to a Wawa and I was impressed. It is no ordinary gas station. The automated ordering systems are very straightforward and user friendly. Be sure to not misplace your printed order ticket. They were slammed as it was the official grand opening, but their customer service was great. They had plenty of staff and management on hand to ensure everyone was being attended to. I ordered a few different items to share (Italian and a roast beef sub and a chocolate milkshake) they also have Zappo chips. I judge the quality of all milkshakes based off of the chocolatey-ness of their chocolate shakes. This shake was definitely a Chocolate shake. Not over chocolatey, it was just right with whipped cream and a cherry on top. The subs were also very good. They could have use a bit more veggies m, but overall, I would definitely swing back in for a quick bite. They also have weekday (hot) specials, pastries, fresh fruits, and a walk in beer cooler. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and an iced coffee for myself and a peach mango smoothie and grilled chicken sandwich for someone else. I couldn't even finish my meal. I did not enjoy the quesadilla whatsoever and the caramel drizzle and whip on my iced coffee leaked all over the place before I even got home. It seemed like the ingredients of the quesadilla were slapped together and it was under seasoned. Furthermore, I was told by the recipient of the other half of the meal that the chicken sandwich was "alright" and the smoothie was too sweet. I ended up tossing most of the quesadilla after finishing a third of it. I'm a firm believer in the idea that you get what you pay for but I think I deserved a bit more quality for almost $20. Just left. Waited almost 20 mins and my food was never even started. There were 5 employees making food. It wasn't even that busy. The employees were making jokes and leaning on the counter while worker; not even caring that people were waiting forever for there sandwiches. Went to ask for a refund and the worker at the register just ignored us and started ringing someone else up. When the manager came over to do the refund he didn't even say anything.
