After placing my order, I was given a cup for my drink, but the orange soda dispenser was empty. Since there was another soda machine behind the counter, I politely asked if she could fill my cup. Her initial response was simply "no," explaining that she was handling both counter and drive-thru orders before eventually filling it. I also requested two BBQ sauces and two sweet-and-sour sauces. I was given one of each, which I assumed might be store policy. However, when I asked for additional sauces, I was met with more attitude and was told "no." Only after I questioned why was I informed that extra sauces required an additional charge. Paying was never the issue; I just wish that had been explained from the beginning. Everyone can have a bad day, but basic courtesy and communication go a long way. Unfortunately, this interaction left a negative impression, and it's unlikely we'll return the next time we're in town for a competition.

Though at my visit today I discovered they use Martin's potato rolls for the burgers. The place was a former deli and is tiny. I was greeted at the door and they took my order. Cheesesteak fried onions provolone. My go to order. The floor is tiled and slippery and I almost fell several times. It was around 4:15 so I thought I beat the dinner rush but apparently everyone orders from here on DoorDash or Uber Eats. At least a dz orders were picked up while I was waiting. Barely warm and the roll which was supposed to be sarcone's tasted more like amoroso. Onions were diced into fine cubes and I prefer more than the tiny amount provided. Overall taste was good but because it was nearly cold hard to actually evaluate. The overall sandwich had enough meat and a good meat to bread ratio. I found no trace of fat or grizzle. Maybe if circumstances were better I would have been happier but it did not reach the hype.
