I needed fills last minute and was so happy they had openings. JJ was super cool and was real with me regarding my lashes and love that about folks. She filled them as much as she could but, my eyelashes couldn't hold them. Not sure if it was the weather or the glue. She is super chill and easy to chat with! The immediate comfort allowed me to explain in detail my past brow shaping disasters. The consultation took about 5 minutes and she explained that we would have my brows back to normal in no time but it would take a few sessions. She took her time shaping my brows and when I got up I was amazed at how much better they looked. She totally fixed my previous disastrous brows and shaped them how I really like them! I went to get my first ever set of eyelash extensions yesterday as a "feel good" gift to myself because I've been having a hard time. Upon arrival I felt comfortable and at ease. JJ's facilities are clean and beautiful. She was professional and honest, which was appreciated. I really didn't know what I wanted but JJ was patient with me while we discussed options and answered all of my questions. Eventually I settled on a full set of 65 lashes per eye (and even did a quick eyebrow clean up which JJ gave me a deal on). The process itself took two hours, and it was so relaxing that I fell asleep! I was embarrassed when I woke myself up by talking to myself but JJ laughed it off and calmed me down. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend while simultaneously taking a nap (weird but lovely). I would recommend JJ's work to anyone. She is an artist and takes pride in her work. I really really wanted to like this place and I was looking forward to coming here. My schedule at work is extremely up in the air all the time and I made an appointment...and missed it. I knew I messed up! So I went to the location to personally apologize and ask for another time. ANY time of the day. After work would be even better. However, when I went up, before I even got a word in - the technician said NO. NO. NO. It was so odd. I meekly told her...because I'm SUPER CAUGHT OFF GUARD ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE - "uh...any time throughout the day?" And she said "I can't see you until as late as 6," so I said "that's even better!" Initially I was hoping she could reschedule me a later time anyways....so I was glad she offered that up. But she followed up with - "But you HAVE to come. You HAVE to make it" with such attitude. The WHOLE conversation had been nothing but attitude, that I decided...it's definitely not worth it. As a person that has worked in the customer service industry almost my whole life, I thought....you know what? I value the customer experience over her expertise, so...I'll take my business elsewhere. The sad part is that this place is right next to my work place and my coworkers etc were all asking where I was heading off to and they are also interested in this service in the future, pending my review. I am so disappointed in the way I was treated and this is probably one of the WORST customer experience I've ever had. Please...next time when a customer is apologetic in missing their time...they are not always entitled and asking you to service them right away. They understand when they took away your time too. My brows were a mess when I first came to her and with patience, time and effort JJ got my brows to exactly where I need them to be. Jen, moreso than any other technician I have been to, knows how to customize brow shape. I went in with horrible brows, which had been made way too thin and short by the last technician I saw-- I waited 3-4 months for them to grow back in before seeing Jen. She cleaned them up well, and gave me hope that they will grow back further. I also got my upper lip done, and out of all the times I have waxed it, this time hurt the least.
