Seriously love this place. The staff was so friendly. The drinks and the vibe were so much fun. I honestly had a blast. I met a few friends that night just enjoying the moment. I'll definitely be back.

Overall it was a fun experience. The DJ played some old school vibes which was perfect for the ambience. Luckily we got a seat next to the DJ to watch his magic. The servers are friendly and professional:) Eventually, people started dancing:) lived the crowd and I was able to take breaks going back and forth to and from the casino:) I'm not sure if food was available. I was too busy checking out the rabbits.

Literally was on our way to the restroom when we saw the sign for this speakeasy. I had to go! Such a cute spot. No need to go to the strip to enjoy the same thing. Nice bar, comfortable seatings and a DJ on this Thursday night around 9pm when we stopped by. Drinks were about $20 a pop but it was a good martini. I would come back to chill and listen to music.

Speakeasy at the Durango inside Mijo's Modern Mexican Restaurant. Not easily hidden. You see the sign from the hallway. Someone will open the 'door' for you to enter behind a wall of alcohol. It's a small space inside with the deejay straight ahead, bar to the right, booths to the left, and tables in the center. Has a dim upscale red and black romantic seduction/halloween/devil type of lighting. We sat at the bar and ordered an Espresso Martini and Wax Rabbit Old Fashioned. The martini was strong in alcohol that it sneaks up on you while all to taste was just the coffee at first. The Old Fashioned was interesting because it came off as sweet. Would have loved to get a second drink but we were too full from eating at Mijo's. I'm starting to like more venues off strip, it's not so crowded and you get a good mix of locals or guests that stay at Durango. The drinks are a few bucks cheaper too!

Very cute inside! The decor is amazing. The place is extremely small tho, not very much room to walk or dance if you wanted too. Was a little awkward because you're on top of everyone especially if people are sitting at tables they were very low to the ground so you are standing over them. The music was good! Just an awkward space. The drinks were good, normal prices comparatively.

i aint love it... i aint hate it but I do HAVE notes and sh@t. So lemme set the scene: Heard Talib Kweli was DJing at The WAX Rabbit for a record release-- shoutout to the criminally slept-on Las Vegas Weekly for the plug. Naturally, I dragged my 51-year-old, lawn-mowing loving, veteran brother along for the ride. First mission: finding the place. It's hidden inside a restaurant, and we walked past it twice before a bartender directed us through a trippy hallway of mirrors-- think Pee Wee's Playhouse meets bougie speakeasy. Cute ... I guess. Suddenly, a bouncer appeared outta nowhere like David Blaine and scared the F@Ck outta me!! I screamed. Very f@cking Loudly. My Gangsta card? Reeeeeeevoked. But we laughed, & he let us in. Inside's tiny--ohhhhh chilllle. Shes virgin small. 1,000 sq ft--but cozy in that "I'm cooler than I actually am" way. Designed by a fancy Italian-Canadian named Alessandro Munge, and yeah, it's giving seductive-lounge realness. If I had "my man" (hell any man --face palm-- #Thirst) with me, we'd have been @&$%ing in a corner. Thats on mommas. And weda been doing it on that free seating. Yesss lawd!!! No two-bottle minimum BS. Bless. My group of 6 lurked around and found a table and, shockingly, the young, fly, fashion-forward crowd was actually dancing-- not doom scrolling. Like real dance battles, hyping each other up, the whole thing. You had everyone: BBL baddies, D-list celeb bros in tight suits & designer man purses that reaaaaaally need ur attention, Ese's Vatos, Neo Soul sistas, emo cuties, and pinstriped playas from the Himalayas. Diverse as hell. Wildly fun. My brother? Thriving. My man was Talking to strangers, dancing like yard work never existed. I clapped. Like a Tiger Woods golf clap. Everything was cool until... Bartender bias? WEAK AS F@CK. I got quick service all night but my tomboyish bestie got ignored repeatedly. When her femme-presenting girl went up? Immediate service. Nah fam. If you disrespect my crew, you don't get my coin. Also, the drink prices? Confusing AF. 1 Long Island & a mocktail = $29. Later, 1 Long Island = $20. The math? TWAS Not mathing. Drinks were cool, but we didn't try the flashy $30 mezcal showstoppers they're known for. Maybe next time when I bring my sugar daddies .... yes plural bih.... All said, we had a blast. Not the best speakeasy I've ever hit, but the dance floor was fire, the vibe was rich, and even my hermit of a brother, the influencers, and hipsters came alive. If they fix the shady service cut that weirdo sh@t out with the LGTBQ bias bull and keep booking dope DJs... I'd go back. WAX Rabbit's got ....potential-- and that's half the battle in Vegas nightlife.

The vibes classy but mysterious with the rouge tones.

A chic little spot. I love the rouge vibe to it. The DJs they have are good as well. A nice little speakeasy, which is also located right in Mijo Mexican, that serves delightful food.

My co-workers and I stopped by the Wax Rabbit Speakeasy unexpectedly for some cocktails. Tucked away behind the tequilla display case inside Mijo restaurant, this hidden gem has a small intimate setting with a cool vibe. There are separate lounge areas to relax in, or you can sit at the bar. A DJ was spinning a mix of R&B and a few 80's tracks, adding to the lively atmosphere.

This place is so cute. It's a little speakeasy inside of a restaurant in Durango. The manager, Brandon walked us in and was so helpful. We were celebrating a wedding and he made the bride and groom's night. Absolutely amazing. The room was beautiful and dimly lit and reds with velvet soface and a fun , energetic vibe. The Dj played the best mix of high energy songs to dance to. It was amazing.

Came in on a Friday night! She was playing old school hip hop all the hits! Jess was our waitress and took great care of us!

First time here with my girls on Valentine's night. Had such a blast and the ambiance was sexy and intimate. Loved the DJ spinning music I can understand and dance to. Yup, I'm an old lady and the music last night was a good mixture from the 2000s. Service was prompt and bartender was really helpful about our drink choices. Will definitely try out some of the signature cocktails next time around. Didn't get a chance to try the food though. Only reason I deducted one star is because I couldn't find any info on dress code, pricing, or events online. When you click on the link, it only gives you a page to make a reservation. I get it. It's a speakeasy, but even just a little bit of info would be super helpful.

Jess our cocktail server was awesome!!

A bit sweet for my taste but tasty and just a little shot's worth (to be sipped). Cocktails: La Vie En Rose: (5/5) Rose infused gin, house made strawberry infused sweet vermouth, aperol, orange essence. Gorgeous spherical ice cube with a real flower frozen inside). The only hint I'll give is that it's located on the casino floor. When we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess. She asked us if we had reservations or were walking in. I really appreciated this because the way she phrased her question told me they had availability and we would be granted entry. The bar is very small and seats about 30. Reservations are strongly encouraged, however we went on a Monday in February. If you're going on a weeknight during off peak season, you should be okay without a reservation. The hostess gave us the option of sitting at the bar or at a table. We asked her for her rec and she said the bar so that's what we chose. The decor is beautiful. The ambiance is dark and moody. It's perfect for a date night. We were greeted by both bartenders. I believe the bartender that made our drinks was Rory. He was very nice and knowledgeable about cocktails. He was able to answer our questions and make suggestions based on our preferences. As we browsed the menu, we were presented with welcome drinks in a fancy smoky container. I don't recall the name of the drink, but it had a lychee flavor with a sugar rim and it was good! Drinks are extremely pricey which is to be expected in Vegas. It's also on par based on where the speakeasy is located (hint hint). The cheapest cocktail was $30 so prepare yourself for the sticker shock. Some drinks were $80-$100! Sometimes you just have to treat yourself. I went with the Velvet Moon which was an interesting cocktail consisting of both gin and mezcal. It had flavors of hibiscus and it also had egg white which I absolutely love! The presentation was beautiful and I really enjoyed it! My friend went with the Basilico Bliss which he enjoyed. I didn't try any, but it looked really good. As we were enjoying our drinks, the staff presented us with savory bar snacks. They were tasty and were a perfect compliment to our cocktails. They do have food on the menu, but we had already eaten so we stuck with our complimentary snacks. As we were closing out, the staff presented us with a complimentary mini dessert. Rory described it as a Carajillo Jello shot. I don't like jello (I hate the texture), but I do love Carajillos. My friend does not drink coffee and does not like coffee flavor, so I ate both of them. They were so delicious (but the texture was off putting lol). I typically don't mention the restrooms in my reviews, but this one is worth mentioning. All I have to say is heated seats with a bidet! We really enjoyed our visit. Had the drinks not been so pricey, we probably would have stayed longer. If you enjoy speakeasies and/or craft cocktails, go have a drink at The Vault! The experience alone is worth it!

If we had more people, I would have wanted to do a group ski shot (literally shot glasses sitting on a ski, and you tip the ski so everyone drinks at the same time). It was so unique, like where else are you going to do that?!! We only stayed for one quick drink here because it was fairly tame and quiet. It was a small venue. And it didn't have good service, or at least an inviting and warm one, which was unfortunate and surprising. For a small place that wasn't busy, we could never find someone to help us. It took a long time to order, a long time to get our drink, and a long time to get our tab. I think Ski Lodge has a lot of potential. The theme is fabulous and the venue rocks. The service is important, and there is so much competition in Vegas that service is more than just serving drinks. People come to Speakeasies for an experience, or in the least, to feel welcomed.
