Sara is an amazing stylist and a really down to earth person. She has been in the industry for seventeen years and gives great hair results fast. She used an Olaplex treatment on my hair which changed my hair's condition. I felt so pampered and understood. The salon is so pretty but comes without the pretentiousness of some of these places. With the virus lots of places are just opening again and getting things figured out in the area. So getting in and getting the attention you deserve was a bit of a concern for me. Lizzie's Beauty Shop was super easy to get into on such short notice. They allow you to book online, I actually contacted them through Facebook Messenger. They were super quick to respond. I booked with Kawii. She took the time to find out what look I wanted. And she absolutely nailed it! Precautions with the virus were taken above and beyond. I literally was the only guest in the place which put me at ease. (We both had masks on. The place was super clean. ) They do more than hair. Nails, eyelashes, makeup etc.. She got it close, so very close. If I was to be in CO longer, or if I ever visit and need a haircut, I will definitely try to get an appt with Ellie's Place. It usually takes a few cuts to really get a feel for my type of hair (thick and coarse and bleached). Then, on a previous visit, she repaired a very bad cut from a different vendor there in town. I think I've decided that most women wear their hair long in Durango, so cute short cuts are not very common. First with a simple haircut, then a month later giving it a overhaul with an amazing cut and color. I have struggled my entire life to find someone that could cut my hair to look great curly, but also look fabulous if I straightened it!! In addition, her salon is a wonderful break from life, where you can step into a sweet and stylish atmosphere and just relax. All at an adorable price! Seriously, Ellie is the best hairstylist ever :)
