OREO COOKIES N CREAM MILKSHAKE
Tayler A.

Tried this place after constantly driving by and it was completely worth the stop. The staff is extremely nice the lady taking our order explained the menu when we said it was our first time. I'm someone who likes to do modifications and she was super accepting of them unlike other burger places. The food was fresh, hot and tasted amazing. The ambiance is that of any other fast food burger place but I enjoy that they have more than just burgers and sandwiches. I finished my meal with a milkshake and it was divine. Will be back.

Classic burger with fries.

We went to this restaurant on national Burger day which probably was a mistake but we couldn't pass up the offer for a buy one get one free burger. The restaurant was packed when we went and I'm sure that had a lot to do with why the service was so slow that day but still I couldn't give them five stars based on the fact that took them 30 minutes for them to make our carryout order. The restaurant is super clean and The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I did like the way the restaurant was decorated it had a very crisp and clean feel to it. The burger was very good. The fries on the other hand were under seasoned. Another reason why I could not give them a higher rating. I guess we will go back and try it again just to see if it was just because they were so slammed busy so I will definitely give them another try.

Best burger place in town, I knew they didn't charge enough for the quality of their product, I am gladly to pay more if possible! Now the owner defaulted and didn't pay the rent and the place is closed, what a sad day! I wish Wayback corporate is reading this review and bring this place back to life, me and many others are willing to pay more for this tasty burger joint!

My son has been here several times since it's opened and has always gotten it "to go". Today he took me and again got it to take home. As you walk in the restaurant they have many ad's around shop showcasing their burgers. By the door there is signage to download there app. which I did. It's an order at the counter and called name for pick up. Plenty of seating and clean open concept. Menu is above counter to review prior to ordering. My son and I both selected the cheesesteak. This is made with melted American cheese, topped with shaved steak, bacon, ranch & grilled onions. Sides extra and went with the tots (extra crispy). On our way out we requested their gold sauce. Packed a little odd, IMO but that wasn't too big of a deal. Lots of cheese on the sandwich, NO bacon & could have used a little more meat filling for the price. The gold sauce made it better tasting as otherwise a little bland. The tots were really good and had a great crunch, just the way I wanted them. Since downloading the app. I did earn points and an additional offer to come back for a promotional burger. I look forward to trying their burger selections & their chicken sandwiches look pretty good too! Check them out if you haven't already. Pricing is decent for the menu offerings.

This is the A-1 Steakhouse burger, complete with crispy onion rings, and it is absolutely delicious!

I recently visited Wayback Burgers and tried the A-1 Steak Burger accompanied by onion rings. It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place to my friends and family; it's definitely worth a visit!

CAJUN BURGER CAJUN TATER TOTS CLASSIC

THIS IS A MUST TRY!!!!! We came down from Tucson, found this place on google and let me tell y'all THIS ISH WAS FIRE!!!! One of the best burgers we've had in a while AND at such an amazing price. Don't even get me started on the Cajun tatter tots, if you're ever close by and craving a burger or tatter tots they have the best burgers, everything they have is so flavorful in the most best way possible. The customer service is amazing too, workers are so friendly and even helped us with some recommendations. Not only was the food and service amazing, the seating area and bathroom were extremely clean as well. I couldn't recommend any other burger place but this one, it was genuinely that delicious!!! I think we also spoke with the owner who was very kind as well, we'll definitely be coming back whenever we come out!!

Try the cajun cheese curds! They're really good. Cheeesy burger is still my favorite of any burger anywhere.

Finally tried Way back Burgers I liked the food, a little pricey. I was thrown off when I first entered by the teenage cashier blasting Ozzy and singing a long. It did take 15 minutes to get my Cajun burger and tots. But again the food was great.

Front counter on Thursday, 1/18/24. Picking up my to-go order.

Ordered 4 burgers & more to-go on Thursday, 1/18/24. Food was ready when I arrived and counter staffed by young ladies were very friendly & helpful. They handed me bag with food & I had to remind them that I had 2 shakes with my order. They quickly made them. Shakes were good according to those in my party who got them. I had ~25min drive & burgers were warm/ok but fries & onion rings were cold by then. Burgers were fine. Hubby liked chili on fries but fries themselves just ok. Onion rings were soggy but tasty- sweet breading. Don't think I should judge them too harshly, since i think everything would taste better if we lived closer or ate there. Would try again.

Very nice new Burger Joint in town. Nicely designed interior. Go to the counter order and they bring out once done. Nice people at the counter were as helpful as they could be.. I had the double burger and fries with Soda. $14.00 seems to be pretty reasonable these days. Had my sandwich after a short wait. Fair amount of fries nice and hot. The burger was just ok for me. A little on the dry side and I'd prefer sliced onions not chopped. While everything was good there was nothing standing out to me. I'll be back to try their shakes and onion rings next time around along with cheese on the burger

The fries were extremely soggy (soggier than most take-out) - to the point that the paper bag that they were in had disintegrated. However, nothing a little air fryer action can't fix! The wings themselves were awesome. Well-sauced (but not oversauced), juicy, meaty, and with good flavor. We both agreed that the honey habanero was best, though I wish it was a little spicier based on the name. The lucky sweet red was a close second - just an elevated buffalo sauce (though I also wish it was slightly hotter). The duke was firmly in 3rd place, without any noticeable buffalo flavor. Not the best wing spot in the east valley, but definitely up there! Looking forward to trying the extreme honey habanero.

We checked it out last weekend, while in the area, looking for really good wings, so we could head back to the house and watch some football. This one came up on Yelp as pretty promising. So we decided to try it out. Boy was. I glad I stopped here! Now this is in a strip mall. Almost at the corner, Next to a Circle K or 7-Eleven. I can't remember which. Pretty big restaurant with several tables and booths. Clean and well lit with a large menu board. Service was prompt, and we were immediately helped by what I presume to be one of the family members and owners. This looks like a complete family operation with mom and dad and family working in the back. Definitely my kind of vibe. We decided to try a little bit of everything, including the traditional wing sauce, and the lemon pepper which is wet. That's something you usually won't find here in Phoenix and their version was fantastic. Really tangy and lemony. The traditional hot wing sauce was also notable Because so many people get it wrong. You have to have that right Balance of Vinegar, which they definitely have. Wings are decent sized and the price is actually pretty on point. I also ordered the JC burger and two of their hot Dogs. While they weren't Sonoran style, hot Dogs, the owner referred to them as Homestyle Mexican Hot Dogs, they were still really good, and as you can see from the pictures, full of fresh ingredients. I do prefer the Sonoran style though, so I would love to see them add that to the menu. The burger was decent, but I didn't find the Patty to be that substantial. Again, the toppings and the avocado were really fresh, so no complaints there. The only thing outside of that is I really wanted to try desserts, but we were headed to the pie place down the street so I decided to pass this time. But I definitely am looking forward to grabbing a banana split on my next visit!

The food was pretty good here, however, I was severely annoyed with the waitress who wasn't really trying to service her customers but wanted to argue for most of the experience here so hence the two stars. Read on to see why I gave a lower rating than I normally would. Since this place is called Tap N Tikka, they had a nice selection of draft beers and I was impressed with their menu, which was on a digital board. The waitress tried to sell me on an Indian brewed beer (for example, Taj) and I just wasnt in the mood for one. Ive been to India several times and have had some of their beers in country. I asked for the Roses by the Stairs Czech Pale Ale and she didnt know if they had it. So I then said, if you dont have Roses by the Stairs, I'll take a Schoner Tag, which is a wheat style Hefeweizen. She then brought me the Schoner Tag, which was a very good beer. Next, we told her we weren't too hungry and mainly wanted to snack on some items and this is where she was being quite annoying. I mentioned the chaat on their menu and thought maybe these would be small bites as these are considered roadside snacks in India, but then she had to tell me oh no they are big portions, so I am like ok... I then saw kati rolls on the menu and thought we could get these and she says oh they are like big burritos, so then I said, well we could cut them in half and share it, but she seemed to think oh they are too big. OK, so after discussing the appetizer menu and couldnt seem to land on much, we now move onto entrees. She then suggests we share a dish, which we were both fine with. She initially suggested Reshmi chicken and said it had a creamy sauce, so we agreed. So, when we finally order the Reshmi chicken, I also asked for a garlic naan to soak up the sauce with and then waitress says oh its not too saucy. So, at this point, I am like whatever lady, can we just order here as you're not being helpful?? Then, she says oh popular dishes here are chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and also bhuna chicken. She said bhuna chicken was her favorite and better than the other two and had a sauce to it, so we finally agreed on this. When the chicken arrived, it came with rice and also we ordered the garlic naan too. The chicken was very good and flavorful, but I doubt it was bhuna chicken as it was a lot more saucy than how bhuna chicken is normally cooked. Bhuna chicken is normally more dry, so I dont know what this waitress is talking about. Garlic naan was so-so and I have had much better elsewhere and for $4.95 a piece, not worth it. I didnt eat much as I was headed to another meal, but did have a bite of chicken for taste and had one piece of naan. We had leftovers and she brought two take away containers. I asked for another container and she wanted to argue about this too. At this point, I just wanted to get out of here. I was like, lady, can you stop arguing with me? The food here was good, but the service was severely ruined by a waitress that didnt know what she was talking about and kept arguing. I thoroughly did not enjoy this experience. And on my receipt, the order was rung up as Butter Chicken and not Bhuna Chicken. With so much competition now (and so hard to earn a dollar and with skyrocketing inflation) and with plenty of other good Indian restaurants around, needles to say, Tap N Tikka, you lost my business and I wont be coming back, thanks to your rude and not knowledgeable waitress.
