Some of the most delicious burgers I've ever had! The chilli cheese fries are among the best I've ever had. The servers were very friendly and got my food out quickly even though it was a bit busy. Will never be back here. Prices were decent but that's about the only positive. We ordered a bourbon bacon burger, the forgot the bacon... we ordered a kids grilled cheese, the cheese wasn't even melted and they forgot the kids fry... and we got the Cheeeesy burger, that was DRIPPING with grease. Attractive location, No chili for the chili-cheese dog. Ordered a Steak Burger. Waited about 25-30 minutes, was served a bun enclosing 2 patties of beef with a slice of indescriminate cheese between the 2 and ...,,,, wait for it...... ooh.. that was IT! No mushrooms, no topping of any kind, there was a bottle of Ketchup on the table. It was a $10 burger, that's what I paid but frankly, a big mack was like a Smashburger compared to this. Went there tonight to try it out. Ordered at 6:05PM. At 7:00PM still hadn't received food which was a hamburger and tots. Went up to ask for refund. Was told food would be ready in 3 minutes. It wasn't. At 7:15pm. One hour and 10 minutes after placing order finally received it. No reason given for the delay. Just not worth it. They will be out of business shortly if they don't figure out how to make a hamburger in less than 75 minutes. read more

I love a good hamburger. I was excited to see Wayback open close to me. My first visit was okay, hamburgers were good, fries and onions rings not so much. But... on my second visit with a friend ( his first time there), we placed our order to go. 2 hamburgers ( 1 completely plain, 1 bacon cheeseburger with no special changes), and 1 order of fries. We waited and waited and waited. I had my back to the counter, but my table mate had a view of the counter. After quite awhile, he mentioned that people who had ordered after us were getting their food. Now Wayback's motto is that a good burger is worth the wait, but at the 25 minute mark I finally went up to the counter. Our food was sitting behind the counter and was ice cold. No apologies, even when I mentioned that the food was ice cold to the touch. The $4.00 fries had maybe 10 fries in the container. No offer to give us fresh fries or remake the food. My lunch companion kept commenting on how terrible and cold the food was as he ate his and honestly cold fries and burgers are not the tastiest. The person who took our order saw us sitting and waiting the whole time. Our bag was marked Door Dash even though we walked in and ordered at the counter. I had not tipped as it was a walk up counter and a machine that asked of you want to leave a tip. I really feel as if this is why she let our food sit behind the counter rather than calling my name when it was ready. I know that my lunch mate won't be eating there again as Wayback made a terrible impression on him. I'm not sure if I'll be back either. read more

First time trying this restaurant. Was not Impressed as everyone who was working was on there phones. I waited about 10 minutes till someone came and asked for my order. We got our food and everything was cold as ice. There was a red peice of hair in my food and I went to ask for a refund and the person at the registerer who seemed on the older side told me no and that they would remake my food and I told him no I want a refund. He simply kept saying we will remake it or I can have a shake on the house. After all that I walked out. I will never eat here again. Do not recommend. First time I gave this place a try I wasn't impressed. I decided to give it another shot to see if their growing pains had settled. Ordered a burger, cheese fries, and a shake. The food took at least 20 minutes, but everyone who worked there was friendly and busting ass trying to get everything out. Food was warm. Whatever cheese sauce they put on the fries is genuinely awful. Tasted like someone cut some offbrand canned cheese-whiz with some mayo. The best part of the meal was definitely the burger, but it was just completely under-seasoned sadly. I can excuse everything but the burger. Well I gave this place a third try on National Burger Day. First time not too impressed as my friend and I ordered a take out and he even said it was just ok. Staff was friendly and the place looked very clean. Second try was a bit better flavor wise, friendly staff again and I ate by myself there. Third time I go I get a text message, National Burger Day bogo offer. I ordered online. I arrive to a fairly full restaurant and TWO EMPLOYEES ONLY!!! On National Burger Day!!! They were cooking, taking orders getting a bunch of Togo orders coming in and STRUGGLING! I felt so bad for them. Kept up a good face but they were stressed. Hopefully the owner reads this and staffs appropriately or shows up when it's needed. Well my to go order was almost all correct, I had ordered the spicy cheese curds but no spice on them. Checked them out tonight and I was not impressed. Placed our order and after 36 minutes went and asked about it. They found it way back under the heat lamp. Had it to go and when I got home found out the chili and cheese were missing from the tots. Not a great first impression. read more

i have been here more then a few times and today the host lily gave horrible service. we didn't get our drinks until we were finished with our meal. Honestly a bit disappointed. I saw that this place has recently opened near my work and decided to go on my lunch break. I figured I would try the big easy burger just to see how I liked the place, I ordered the big easy with no tomato and added grilled onions. I also ordered cheese and chilli fries as well, the young girl at the counter was very nice and the food was done relatively quickly. However once I left and checked my bag I noticed I did not get my chili cheese fries and got tots instead. I decided to head back and get it fixed which thankfully happened with no problem as they gave me fries. However once I arrived back at work I checked my burger and realized they also messed that up. I was given tomato, which was the only thing I asked to be taken off, and I was also not given my grilled onions which I had asked for as well. Unpleasant experience. Kitchen is ran by high school kids who struggle with comprehension. To start off received food and was told by the food runner I can't get cheese sauce on the side. I stated I paid for it and had to show my receipt to receive cheese even though she knew it was ordered and that's why she brought my food out and stated I couldn't have it in the side... mmkay. Moving along. Ordered a cheese burger with grilled onions and lettuce received a Pink burger smothered in mustard and raw onions. Gave it back. They brought out the remake.... Plain burger with raw onion.... Gave it back again.... The kid slammed the metal tray on the counter and said "before I make this again what exactly do you want on it" hello?? Third time is a charm got the burger made correctly. Took a bite and a worker in the kitchen started clapping. Cool. Ordered a to go meal for my hubby. MY MISTAKE. AGAIN.. It was convenient.
